PDF causes IE 10 freeze

Question

We are migrating our machines on Win7. We faced number of issue with PDF files. Below is the summary:
1. Large PDF files were not rendered in IE10. It was causing IE 10 to freeze. 
Resolution - Instead of rendering PDF in browser, we opened it in Adobe directly. We realized it was issue of Adobe 11. In Adobe 10 it was working fine but adobe addon was very slow with Adobe 10. Hence we decided to open file in adobe reader by disabling
adobe add-on.
It fixed the issue of IE freezing as now PDF files directly opens in Adobe reader. However, there is another issue now:
Q: If we download multiple PDF files after some time IE freezes randomly at some time. 
We tried Adobe 9.5, 10, 11 however nothing works. IE 10 freezes randomly after some time while downloading PDF files.
we are using Win7+IE10+Adobe11. 
Please suggest.

Hi,
Please try this:
1.Close Internet Explorer.
2.Open the Registry Editor, locate to:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\TabProcGrowth, set its value as
1
3.Re-open Internet Explorer and try to open a pdf.
If it can't resolve the issue, disableEnhanced Protected Mode
for test:
1.Start Internet Explorer for the desktop.
2.Tap or click Tools, and then tap or click Internet options.
3.On the Advanced tab, click to clear the Enable Enhanced Protected Mode
check box under Security.
4.Tap or click OK.
Note: You must restart your browser for this setting to take effect.
