PDF default in PO in user wise .

Hi ,
Is it possible to get PDF as the default printer for purchase orders, request for quotation and production order for certain persons?
Wer we do the configuration setting in spro .

If u have Po spool request number
use PGM "RSTXPDFT4" , after executing it in SE 38 system will ask you to enter spool request number.enter that and on executing this programe system will convert PO in to PDF file as per path given by You.
Make sure that you can make it arrange to go spool. other wise you have ask your ABAP'er to develop a SMARTFORMS for PO and make it format to PDF.

I am not aware of FM. But I know the tables which can give the required inforamtion to you.
Pass item GUID of RFx response to CRM_JEST-OBJNR. If it has a record with STAT=I1113 then it means that the follow on document created.
Further you can find the meaning of status in CRM_JEST, in TJ02T table.

How to alter the default profile for multiple users

I am trying to alter the default profile assigned to users during user creation to a new profile. I know to change the profile for one user using the syntax
alter user abc profile profileabc
The issue I have is that there are 100's of users under default profile and changing for each of them manually would be difficult. The approach that I see is to write a shell script where I connect to the db and get a list of all the users with default profile. Then I loop through the file making connection to the db each time and executing the alter statement.
Please help if you think that there can be a more efficient approach to this.

How to create an default profile for every user on one machine? Deployment of configurations?

On firefox 3.5.X i can copy an configured profile from an user-folder to the programm folder of firefox. \mozilla firefox\defaults\profiles.
After an new user log in to the machine the default profile will get the actual profile of the new user. With all bookmarks, configurations and so on.
But this doesn't work with the firefox 3.6.10? What changed? What will be the way i can get an default configuration for every user on one machine? I want to deploy the firefox with an default configuration in our enterprise? Why does the behaviour change?

No - there are no missing data, because nothing will be copied. The profile - folder does not work.
There are the standard first start behavior.

How can I create a default dock for all users (Mavericks)?

I would like to modify the dock to display specific installed applications.
I then want this dock to be the default dock for any users that log in.
OS is Mavericks.
All users are AD users.
No server management.
We use Deep Freeze to revert the Mac to the way we set it up.
I can find info for previous versions of OSX; basically just copying the plist, but I can't find anything that works for Mavericks.
Any help would be appreciated!

You could set up a user template for new user accounts, but you can’t stop individual users from modifying their Dock to suit their needs.
I don’t know how to modify the user template, so you’ll have to google for it.

Assigning a default value to a user property

do you know how can I assign a default value to a user property? It would be great if I should be able to assign it from the administration without writing any code (like profile web services...).

Hi Alberto,
I don't think you can currently do this. In other words you can't set a default value for some object property and have it subbed in when no better value is available.
You can however create a default profile, and set values for the object properties assigned to users (You do this by going to the "Default Profiles" manager). You can then edit the "Default Profile" that is already there (or create a new one), and edit the "Properties and Names". Set the value field to whatever you'd like to be copied by default.
Once done, all new users that are created via a User Synchronization job will have this default profile. The changes will not apply to users that were previously created. If you created a new Default Profile in the Default Profiles Manager, then you need to goto the Authentication Source that you are doing your sync's from and pick which profile you'd like to use for All Groups. You can also create custom Default Profiles for various groups.

To answer to your question.
1. First grant select any table or "grant select on all tables of user 'ELLIPSE' to the user "094137".
2. Later to access schema ELLIPSE's objects, from "094137" user, you ll have to create public synonym to all of the tables in ELLIPSE schema.
3. This way, the user "094137" can access all tables in SCHEMA ELLIPSE, with out specifying(prefixing) the schema name

The user "094137" has no objects of her own and only accesses the object of the schema "ELLIPSE".

I say to highlight more than one if you can because if the PDF you highlight was made by using Acrobat, it will change all PDF's made by Acrobat but if you have one made by some other product, it may not change them to open with Acrobat.
So in other words, at some point you may have to do it to a PDF made by some other product.

You could download and install RCDefaultApp 2.1 for all users: check the Read Me and then test it on something to see if it accomplishes what you want.

Pdf default size

hi all
I'm displaying a pdf in wda application . The size of the pdf page is diffrent in diffrent system .
When i run the application on my system it is coming as 54% page size by default where as when I'm executing the same application on other system it is coming as 21% by default.
Please suggest how can I make the pdf default size of the page.

what is meant by other objects? is the part of same smartform that is not being displayed completely? Please clarify.
also I mentioned 1000px as just one value so that to maximize the page size. you can use various sizes and need to do trial and error so that PDF will be displayed in optimized size and it will be then same in all systems.

Set a default layout for all users via DIAPI

Hello everyone,
I am attempting to set a default report for all users/business partners using the DI-API.
I can accomplish this in the B1 application via Tools> Layout Designer...>Set as Default
If there are entries in the RDFL table for this layout, I am prompted to delete these entries and set this layout as the default for all users/BP's
Based on the SDK Documentation, the following code should accomplish the same thing via the DI-API
(stripped down for clarity)

Code executes fine, but it doesn't have the expected impact on settings. The above code adds an entry to the RDFL table rather than changing the DfltReport field in the RTYP table like I expected, so instead of setting the default report globally for all bps/users, its adding an entry to the RDFL table to set the value for a specific user/bp
I experimented by including and setting the following properties to every combination I could think of with the same results
oDefaultReportParams.UserID = 'tried 1, 0, -1
oDefaultReportParams.CardCode = 'tried "", "0", "-1"
Am I misunderstanding the API, or using the wrong objects/calls...? If all else fails I could accomplish this via the UI-API instead, but the application was intended to be a stand alone app that didn't rely on SAP B1 application running, so any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.

In FBL5N one parameter is there Serch Help ID In serch help id when we select Customers per sales group
we see Sales office and Sales group .If we select sales grop and execute it report gives op under sales group.
My requirment is restrict the sales group or sales office for user wise.(if 5 sales office and 3 user id is there then,i want to give one user id for 2 sales office and if enter another sales office then he cant show the data)

I am not quite sure if it is recommended to tweak standard elementary search help. However, I would suggest you to create your own search help and attach it to the standard collective search help as an append search help.
You can write what so ever logic the business demands in that custom search help exit there by restricting the entries that gets displayed as a result of value help.
Hope this gives you a brief idea on how to proceed.

Sounds like a file association issue in Windows. Right click on the files of interest and select Open With>Choose Default Program and select the program you want used (be sure the "always use" box is checked. The Acrobat installation should not have done this change, but this is the process to make the change on each file type.

Note that the underlying logs are purged on a regular basis, so for the long term you need to copy the data to your own tables, as Martin handily suggests here.
