PDF displays, click print, Prints boxes, AcroRd32.exe error windows

Trying to print a report displayed good from PDF, generated out of Lawson software.
Click print button, report prints with a bunch of rectangular boxes, then gets 2 AcroRd32.exe Application Error windows:
The exception unknown software exception (0xc06d007f) occurred in the application at location 0x7c812afb.
The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000029) occurred in the application at location 0x7c9502cc.
I have tried running the "cleaner" http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html
Which ended up removing my Acrobat Reader, so had to reinstall.
Get the same results for Acrobat reader 10.1.4 & 11
If the report is displayed, then save it to a folder, then open directly with Acrobat Reader, prints ok.

First thing I would try is update to 10.1.8 or 11.0.4.

What is the Reader XI version you installed?
Does this also happen when you open Reader by itself? If not, can you try disabling Protected Mode [Edit | Preferences | Security (Enhanced)].

AcroRd32.exe Error

Error pop up message:
AcroRd32.exe-Application Error
The exception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occured in the application at location 0x00401233.
This error message will pop up whenever there is a pdf file either opened OR listed in the folder I have opened. If I have a pdf file saved on my desktop, the popup message will keep appearing if I am on my desktop. If I have a pdf file opened over 2 minutes, the message will appear again, even opening up multiple files at once will pop up 5 error messages (1 for every file).
I have the following (if it's needed to know):
XP Professional
Adobe Acrobat 4.0
Adobe Flash Player 11 ActiveX
Adobe Flash Player 12 Plugin
Adobe reader XI (11.0.06)
and using MS 2003
I just updated the reader just when I rebooted my pc from running a virus scan & it's still doing it. It's been going on for at least since last October. I deal with pdf's all day cause I homeschool my 3rd grade son so I need to get this fixed....wasn't even sure if this was a Adobe issue either! lol

I had the same error with a similar configuration, namely running Adobe Reader 11.0.8 alongside a full version of Adobe Acrobat 8 on XP Professional SP3. Windows XP would raise a dialog-box with this 0xc0000409 error every time I hovered over a .pdf file.
The problem appears to be caused by the Abobe Reader X11 installer confusing the dual configuration with a previous version of Abobe Acrobat.
Fortunately, the solution appears to be extremely simple:
Open      Adobe Reader 11
Select     Edit | Preferences...
Select     General under Categories list
Click on   Select Default PDF Handler
Select     Adobe Reader X1(11.0.n) from the combo-box, where n is your version (and may be the only version displayed)
Click on   Apply , which will reconfigure the Windows XP configuration, such as context-sensitive menus and registry settings
Restart computer to complete changes...

hello, when this is happening after you've already updated firefox with your admin account, try to delete the ''updates'' folder and ''active-update.xml & updates.xml'' within the %localappdata% folder of your restricted account like it is described in http://kb.mozillazine.org/Software_Update#Software_Update_not_working_properly

How to print content of attachments in PDF when clicked on print.

I have a requirement where when i click on print the content of attachment present in PDF should be printed instead of attachment symbol. Please let me know whether this is acheivable by any means.This should be done using .NET 2005.

if you have have a bunch of questions, you can have a div tag set up with nothing in it after each question where you can display the answer. then when you click on the answers in the child window, you can do this:
window.opener.document.getElementById('divName').innerHTML = 'the html/text to show';

Print Dialog Box Opens behind open windows

The print dialog box opens behind any open windows everytime I print to a PDF.
It seems to happen from every program AutoSketch, Word, Excell, QuickBooks.
Very annoying.
The minimized dialkog box opens and flashes below on the task bar. When you click on the mini icon the print dialog box comes to the front.
How can I get the dialog box to open on top of all windows?

I was unable to find the SavedData file. I am running Windows 7 and there seems to be two files there /Roaming/Adobe/InDesign and /Roaming/Adobe/AdobeInDesing5.5 and neither one has a clear file name "InDesign SavedData" for me to remove. I think I found the "InDesign Debaults" under the /Roaming/Adobe/InDesign/version7.5/en_US/InDesignDefaults. Is that one it?

Hpsf.exe error windows 7

Hi, I keep encountering a problem. Whenever I use anything from HP, it'll open hpsf.exe error. It'll say click ok or cancel and I tried to let windows sort out the problem but it does nothing. I was wondering if it was due to me deleting the 24/7 support thing. I didn't believe that was a HP product and deleted it. I can't figure out how to get it to work again right.
The model of the desktop is: S5730Y
It is Windows 7 Home Premium

When i unistall and again install a fresh Crystal report for .Net 4.0 Its ok to generate only to pdf option when click to the print icon on crystal report viewer but in another computer it is promting the old fasion like "a dialog with many option" ,But if want to have a only option to generate only to pdf option what should i have to do when my project and crystal report is at Window server 2008 R2,Please suggest a requred answer?

Firefox will update in increments when you use such old versions. The best thing to do is to go to www.getfirefox.com, and download Firefox 19.0.2. This is going to be much faster than updating to 3.0.19, then to 3.6, then 12, then 19 (which is the current process).

PDF displays fine, but prints garbage

I'm stumped on this one... I've been using MacOS X since the Public Beta came out in 2000, and I've never run into anything like this when working with PDF files.
My Natural Gas provider - Atmos Energy - allows me to download PDF copies of old statements from their website. The PDF downloads as expected, opens in Preview without any issues, and displays the statement perfectly.
Then I print the PDF to my Lexmark X546dtn color laser. It prints out, but all of the account-specific text has been replaced with garbled ASCII characters. The overall structure of the statement prints correctly (lines, shapes, logos, etc) as does the generic text that they include as information for every customer (i.e. Call us immediately if you smell gas). But everything else is complete garbage.
A couple of examples... (Visible on Screen -> What's Printed Instead):
PREVIOUS BALANCE -> KQSSQGT)QG<RP:N*QRGI
05/10/13 -> 3<C=3C=D
PAST DUE AFTER -> MN3*)LO!)N<*!P
When I Select All (text) in the PDF in Preview, it copies / pastes the correct strings into a text editor. When I choose "Export to PDF" the file it creates, however, has the same garbled text that shows up when I print it on my Lexmark.
I've submitted a support request to Atmos, but don't have very high expectations that they'll be able to offer any help. I'm really not sure what's going on here, any ideas?
In case it helps, the "PDF Producer" is listed as "StreamServe Communication Server 5.5.0 GA Build 1684".

A bit more info before I move on to more productive endeavors this evening...
I fired up Windows XP in VMware to see if Adobe Reader under Windows XP would be able to handle the file correctly. Nope, but at least it gives an error message that may point to the problem. Adobe Reader says "Cannot find or create the font 'WFQXRK+AA0101+Verdana-Bold'. Some characters may not display or print correctly." I'm guessing the dynamically generated document is being created with an invalid font name (server-side bug). Preview probably auto-substitutes a standard font for displaying the PDF onscreen, but when the PDF is sent to the printer it's probably sent as a native PDF, invalid font-name and all.

Is it possible to provide some conditions in SAPScript (form) to add boxes depending on the presence of different number of document numbers?i.e if there are 10 document numbers 10 boxes to be provided.Can this be handled in Main window of the script?

You need to write a perform in the Script. and get the No of records which are printed in the main window according to that maintain 2 variables in that whcih we use the window size in the layout.

Printer will only print 2 pages then say error - windows 8

Hi,
we have purchased a new laptop to make life simpler, only things never end up being that way. Currently we are having trouble printing more than 1 page, the computer on the second page half way through will bleep and an error message will be displayed in the top right corner but there is no error code.
Please help as this is increasingly annoying,
i have seen other posts where they are being asked to disable some start up programs but i have tried some and this hasnt work i will show a screen shot below to show what s still enable and maybe you can advise which must remain and what others can be disabled.

Adobe PDF displays "please wait" preview in OPEN file under Windows XP

An Adobe form created in LifeCycle 8.2, enabled for Adobe Reader version 9, displays "Please Wait" page in the preview in place of the actual document form view. Is there a way to disable this error meassage?

no you cannot change this behavior.
This messages is present in all XFA forms (dynamic PDF's) you create with Designer and will be displayed when the PDF viewer cannot handle the XFA data inside the PDF.
In general only Acrobat and Reader support XFA forms, most of the other PDF viewers don't.

Reader_sl.exe and acrord32.exe error 0x0000034

Hello, i'm using adobe reader 9.3 and i have this little problem, first started with reader_sl.exe at startup, y then when try to use reader it pop up the same. im on windows xp sp3 and already tried to reinstall
i did fix this problem already installing vcredist, msi and net framework (looks like the first was the only needed)

Can you tell us more about the error you are getting regarding reader_sl.exe - is it just "system error", or anything more?
On the other hand, you can safely remove reader_sl.exe from the startup list; it doesn't really do much.
Regarding MSVCP71.dll - do you also get that message in connection with Adobe Reader?
What Reader version do you have installed?
The visual C runtime libraries are normally distributed with the applications that require it. If MSVCx71.dll modules are generally missing, they are part of .NET Framework 1.1
