PDF EMBEBIDO EN FLASH

Hola Foro,

http://www.adobe.com/es/products/flashpaper/
Para convertir los ficheros PDF a swf y utilizar loadmovie
para cargar los
swf en tu peli.

  • Is it possible to display a pdf document in flash?

    I'm not that familiar with flex/flash but i was wondering if it's possible to display a native pdf document in flash.  If so are any add-on's required or does flex/flash have that capability built in.  Essentially I would be trying to create a pdf viewer in flex that allows users to markup documents and save them to the server for others to view.  I'm just in the discovery phase of this project, so any guidance would be great.
    Thanks!

    Thank you very much for the reply, that's an interesting project.

  • Displaying PDF in Flex/Flash

    Is there a way to display a PDF document within a Flex
    application without launching the Adobe Acrobat Reader? Just
    thought...Adobe...PDF...

    AFAIK, there is no PDF solution for Flash. Macromedia was a
    recent acquisition by Adobe and I don't think they've had time to
    integrate the technologies. Rumour has it that there'll be a
    combined PDF/Flash viewer at some point, but who knows...

  • PDF vs. Flash

    Project: Interactive CD-ROM
    Programs: Adobe 9 or Flash
    We will be creating and designing an interactive CD-ROM. The original document will be a word document. After designing and formatting the text, we will end up having a 100 page document.
    The end result is to have this project deployed on a CD with interactivity, attached files (i.e. Excel sheets, PDF's, word docs), printing features, and will need to work cross-platform.
    We feel this project needs to be an Interactive PDF instead of a Flash movie. We are having debates between other developers whether to do the project in PDF form or Flash.

    PDF is the only way to go. Flash is not designed for such a task. PDF can be printed;Flash files cannot be. PDF handles attachments, embedded movies, video audio, you name it.

  • Word document or pdf file in Flash

    I have created a Flash CBT that has an assessment at the end.
    If they pass
    the assessment, they can print out a User Access Form which
    will have their
    name, date, score, and some other pertinent pieces of
    information. I have
    this User Access Form in both Word and PDF format. And I know
    that I can
    open a Word or PDF file from Flash ... but I need it to be
    populated with
    the information that was gathered from within Flash ... so
    I'm trying to
    figure out how to bring these files into Flash.
    Is it possible to put a Word document, or a PDF file into a
    Flash file? If
    so ... how?
    And if not ... is it possible to send data from Flash to Word
    ... so that
    their personalized data will already be in the document when
    it opens?
    Or ... any other ideas that might serve my purpose here?
    The only thing I could think of to do was to turn this file
    into a bitmap
    and then use the bitmap in Flash ... with dynamic text fields
    in the
    appropriate places on a layer above the bitmap. The problem
    with this is
    that the quality of the bitmap is not as crisp and clean as a
    Word or PDF
    file would be.
    Thanks in advance.

    To save as a PDF, you do that from Print
    To save as Wrod format, you export

  • Open PDF file in Flash CS5.0

    Is there any way to open a PDF file in flash application using Action Script 3.0 ?

    By open do you mean import or simply display?
    You can use the StageWebView class to display a PDF if the user has a PDF viewer installed. It essentially punts the work off to the system browser to display it. You just tell the StageWebView instance to load the PDF directly. I do that on iPads and iPhones and it works great. Very smooth response and all the PDF controls intact.
    Now if the user does not have a PDF viewer installed, that won't work.

  • PDF Saved As Flash

    Is it posible to save your pdf as a flash file...?

    There are a couple of products that'll convert basic "text and images" PDF pages to SWF, but they can't handle anything complicated like layers, video, 3D, forms, scripting, etc.
    Acrobat doesn't have an "export to SWF" option, and is unlikely to ever introduce one given the limitations of SWF over PDF. You're better off exporting a SWF from the original application where possible (e.g. from InDesign).

  • Link to bookmark in a pdf from embedded flash

    I am using Acrobat 9, and have embedded a flash animation on page one of a pdf document as a "Table of Contents."  I am using a Carousel of images to represent the different segments of the document, and have created bookmarks that I would like to have the user go to when the image is is clicked upon. Creating an external link to a website, etc. works fine, but I cannot determine the code to place in the  <image link> so that when the user clicks on it, it goes to the appropriate bookmark inside of the pdf, or document page that corresponds to the subject represented by the image.  Any help available?

    Hi dannywg, the novapdf.com example doesn't work for me because it always generates the Open/Save/Cancel dialog.
    I don't know about embedded media; I didn't realize PDFs had that feature. But the links in the following PDF work both in the Firefox 19 PDF Viewer and the Adobe Acrobat plugin: http://www.jeffersonscher.com/gm/Google-Hit-Hider-by-Domain_About_v150.pdf
    '''Edit: Actually, I see a difference between the PDF Viewer and the Adobe Acrobat plugin.''' Adobe's plugin lets you click certain URLs that were not intentionally coded as links in the document (e.g., the URL in the footer). Firefox's PDF Viewer apparently does not have that feature (yet).
    '''Edit: I don't know whether this feature will be added.''' Firefox doesn't treat text URLs in web pages as links. Add-ons such as [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/linkification/ Linkification] have been created to do that. No idea whether it works in the PDF Viewer.

  • PDF Download & Adobe Flash issues

    FIRST:  I have a client who sends reports via PDF style.  She has been sending them forever and we both have updated versions.
    I can open the majority of them and print.  In the last week or so when i do a save as and have to retrieve it, I get an error message to the effect "this file is empty"  It is occurring on a Mac and PC.
    SECOND:  When I am in a game, watching a video Adobe Flash freezes up, and then I have to force quit computer in order to continue.  A lot of these videos are work related so I must watch them.

    Hi dcarner2001,
    If you are saving the files using Adobe Reader it wont save the data which you fill in the fields unless the PDF document is Reader Extended. http://help.adobe.com/en_US/acrobat/X/pro/using/WS58a04a822e3e50102bd615109794195ff-7e0d.w .html
    Let me know if that is the case, if those documents where already filled and now you are trying to open then. Then i think documents might not have been saved correctly either because there might have been some problem with permission or hard drive.
    There could be other numerous reason.
    For flash related query, i am moving this discussion to Flash.
    Regards,
    Ajlan Huda.

  • PDF Portfolio on Flash ActiveX

    Is there any way to open PDF Portfolio's SWF file in Flash ActiveX (Visual C++ project)? How to implement communications between Flash ActiveX and its container? I know that Adobe has public PDF Reference and PDF portfolio is a part of this, but I can’t find any information about viewing PDF Portfolio content.

    I was looking for it but I could not find. Please, give me the directions where I can find that documentation. Give me the link or send that documentation to [email protected] I'll be very grateful for any information concerning this subject. Can you tell me also what company has implemented viewing of PDF Portfolios with this method?

  • I have a problem to print PDF files with flash embedded.

    I embedded some flash into a PDF file. When previewing the PDF file in Adobe reader 9, the flash looks fine. But when printing the PDF file, the size of the flash become smaller than I specified, and starting repeating in the specified area.
    Am I missing something or is it a bug of Adobe reader 9?

    But do you have the current version of Adobe Reader, which is version 9.2?
    You can check adobe.com for updates for your Adobe Reader for it to function to its full potential.

  • Create a PDF from a Flash page

    I need some help with a request from a client. I have created a form that a user fills out and the answers they give are added to a email as text. This works great but now the client wants the text answers in a PDF not just as text in an email. My question is, is there a way to create a PDF from the answers on a form from within the Flash program. The answers are saved in variables then added as text to the email.

    Here's an again super rudimental example - click on the stage will invoke the "save file as..." dialogue.
    package {
        import flash.display.Sprite;
        import flash.events.MouseEvent;
        import flash.net.FileReference;
        import flash.utils.ByteArray;
        import org.alivepdf.fonts.CoreFont;
        import org.alivepdf.fonts.FontFamily;
        import org.alivepdf.fonts.IFont;
        import org.alivepdf.layout.Orientation;
        import org.alivepdf.layout.Size;
        import org.alivepdf.layout.Unit;
        import org.alivepdf.pdf.PDF;
        import org.alivepdf.saving.Download;
        import org.alivepdf.saving.Method;
        public class PDFDemo extends Sprite {
            private var _pdfByteArray:ByteArray;
            public function PDFDemo():void {
                var pdf:PDF = new PDF(Orientation.PORTRAIT, Unit.MM, Size.A4);
                var helvetica:IFont = new CoreFont(FontFamily.HELVETICA);
                pdf.addPage();
                pdf.setFont(helvetica, 24);
                pdf.writeText(24, "Hello World!");
                _pdfByteArray = pdf.save(Method.LOCAL, null, Download.ATTACHMENT);
                stage.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, click);
            private function click(e:MouseEvent):void {
                new FileReference().save(_pdfByteArray, "hello-world!.pdf");
