PDF Export - converting files

I don't want to convert an entire document, just one or two pages. Can this be done?

Could you try disabling the 'Recognize text' function and convert the file again?

Adobe PDF Export Converting 100% Black Body Copy to 4-color Black

Hi,
I've been trying to figure out the best way to make use of an RGB workflow for our news publication and magazines. In the process, I've noticed that in my PDF export, by selecting the option under "Profile Inclusion Policy: Include Destination Profile" it causes all of my 100% black text to become 4-color. Why is it doing that?

But the text is not RGB, it is 100% black in CMYK.

Security in PDF online converted files

As you know, Microsoft Word allows you to convert their files into PDF. However, there is no security. Therefore one can highlight a signature for example and copy it as a way to lift someone's signature off the document and create an image of the signatrue for subsequent fraudulent use. The question is: when one converts a Word document using the Adobe online conversion program, are there security settings that can prevent the copying any part of the document, including the signature? Please advise. I want to become a subscriber to the online service, but frankly, this is the most important feature that I am looking for. Thanks for your anticipated response.

CreatePDF doesn't have the ability to secure your documents against content extraction. For this functionality, you'll need Adobe Acrobat. You can learn more about Adobe Acrobat by visiting: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html

Trying to display a pdf exported report file in browser

i am getting null pointer exceprtion when try to close the report browser.
the same code is working perfectly in adobe reader 8. i am getting this problem adobe reader 9.
i am exporting the report file as a pdf and saving locally. report is displayed in the browser from local directory.
till its working fine. when close the report file.. i am getting the following error:

JVC exporting converted file in Premiere Pro

Hi!
I'm not English, so sorry for my mistakes!
I've got a big problem! I've bought me a JVC EVERIO GZ-MG365 Cam! Now, this cam is recording its movies on a file ending on .mod! I've downloaded a converter to import them in Premiere Pro CS3! I've tryed many types (.mov,.mpeg,mpeg4,avi,.asf and so on), but in the preview window (for cutting and the other, end movie window) it's not playing fluently! It does the same when I export it! BUT, when i burn the exported file on an DVD, and i play it in the DVD player, its playing fluently! The problem is, i have to send it as .avi to other people, and they would not be happy if its stucking.

download the alternative quicktime, run Avisynth and go

Acrobat DC upgrade breaks CS6 PDF export?

Installed Acrobat DC and now my CS6 PDF export function is greyed out. Happens with old and new files. CC 2014 works fine. CS6 has been working fine yesterday up until the point I installed Acrobat DC. Anyone else have this issue? I still have clients who insist on CS6 so this is sort of a pain.
Working on a new Mac Pro.
I asked this over on the Acrobat forum but they said the two issues should not be involved.

There's nothing that an Acrobat installation could do that would affect InDesign functions.
@Steve – I have seen one case where a not finished (stuck) installation process of Acrobat Pro CS6 on Windows removed all default PDF export joboptions files for InDesign CS6 as well. However, something more drastic like a grayed out export function in InDesign CS6 seems not to be realistic.

I have converted my pdf files to docx files using the Adobe Export PDF but when I drag my converted files to Word there is no text, just blank pages.

I am really new to Adobe and Creative Cloud and its logic so I hope someone can help me understand it. My objective is to get my scanned PDF docs converted to text document files so I can open and edit in Word.
I have scanned my documents into a pdf format. I then dropped the pdf file into my Adobe Export from PDF. It exported and converted them to docx files just fine. When I click on the created docx file I have the correct number of pages but they are completely blank. I don't have any converted text. Am I missing a step? I have also dropped these files into my Word with the same result.

Are you still experiencing a problem with Adobe Send? We inadvertently introduced a problem earlier today (now fixed), but you reported your issue was last night.
Anyway, can you check again?

I Paid for PDF Export and the files are not converting correctly

I purchased PDF Export to take a PDF file and convert it to a text file so I could import it into excel, when doing so I get a bunch of extra symbles plus the numbers that i'm trying to convert are not complete.

Could you try disabling the 'Recognize text' function and convert the file again?

A very good morning John,
As far as I have understood, there is no problem with ExportPDF. You might need to check whether the fonts in your PDF are embedded or not.
For this, open the PDF in Reader/Acrobat and go into File>Properties and click on Fonts tab to check for the same.
If the fonts used in the PDF are not present in the system, then MS Word may not be able to retain the layout of the file.

Export pdf how to edit and save converted files

I finally was able to convert to docx format, but see no way to use the converted file. How can I edit and save in jpeg format?

Please tell me what the problem is with the converted file. Are you unable to edit it, or did it not convert as you expected?
Can you tell me how the PDF was created? (Different applications write PDF files differently, and some aren't as good as others--that can affect conversion).

Are you having the same trouble regardless of the file you've converted to Word?
How were the PDFs you're converting created (using what application)? You can tell by opening the PDFs in Reader and choosing File > Properties. Look for the document creator on that dialog box.
