Attempt to convert PDF, IRS tax form fails for Excel, Word and RTF. Why?

It's probably best to keep these forms in PDF and fill them directly. The IRS won't accept reformatted forms.

The file apparently uploaded successfully. After a considerable wait an error message was returned stating the "service is not available". This occurred multiple times yesterday and today, both after and before successful conversion of other pdf files.

Hi Experts,
This is a bit of a pain I have to distrubte
Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1 to about 3000+ users and I am having a problem,
In Prefs in "Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1"
When I tick then untick, "display in PDF Browser" from the Preferences, My Outlook will fail to convert to PDF. I get an "Item failed to convert" message and a log file. Also Word 2003 will not post a .PDF to an email.
If I restart "Outlook 2003" it will create a "pdf" when I click the icon the first time, the second time I click it will fail.
Please help.

We also deployed 8.12 to over 1000 users with the "Disable PDF in browser" option checked using the customization wizard. Now we're finding some users need it to view certain PDFs in a web-based application.
We would like to add the option, but removing the registry key doesn't actually install the option when you check it. It seems you might have to create a new mst then redeploy. We'd really like to not have to do that, if at all possible.
In the Reader archives, one guy suggested running this:
msiexec /i Adobe_Reader_8.1_MUI.msi ADDLOCAL=ReaderBrowserIntegration
I haven't tried that yet. Any feedback or other suggestions?

Why .pdf file, created by Acrobat Distiller 10.1.2. (Windows) failed to convert to MS Word

I tried to convert .pdf file to MS Word, but it failed.
I noticed in a previous discussion on that topic that this converter ccnnot work with
.pdf files cteated by certain producers
My was created by Acrobat Distiller 10.1.2. (Windows)
Is that a rogue producer too?

At this point, try Acrobat XI Pro to see if you can convert the document there. A 30-day trial of Acrobat XI Pro is available here:

If the file fails to convert with Acrobat, it may be corrupted. How did you get this PDF?

Adobe livecycle 8.05 failed to convert pdf to postscript

I have been using Adobe Live cycle designer 8.05.2073.1.374024 for 6 months to a year.
I have a working template that I am trying to modify. On this particular form if I move text or numeric fields around the form. I will get the following error. I am wondering if there is some way to see all suspected problem code in the .XDP template file (something like LINT).

for the past 24 hours, I've been attempting to convert a PDF to DOC but I keep getting "Failed to convert using Adobe Export PDF" Please help. I've logged in via the website and the convert tool, yet I still get the same message.

File fails to convert online from a PDF to a word doc.

I've tried multiple solutions to attempt to get my pdf. files to convert to word doc. It was working fine back in September. I have since tried the other solutions listed on the discussion board, such as signing in and out or going to the following address https://exportpdf.acrobat.com/app.html , but neither seem to work. The latter will upload the pdf, but I receive a message saying that there was an error when trying to save the doc.
Is there a fix for this? I paid $20 for an annual membership and this stopped working for me back in October...

I attempted all of the following, but with no luck...
1. Clear your browser cache (steps to do this vary by browser)
2. Try to update your version of Flash Player by visiting: http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
If you’re still having trouble after those steps, please try this:
1. Go to this link where you can manage your Flash Player Global Settings:http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/se ttings_manager03.html
2. Ensure the "Allow third-party Flash content to store data on your computer" option is checked.
3. Make sure the slider is set to a value other than 0
4. Restart your browser to accept these changes.

PDF still not converting even after all advice from forum

Hello, I am trying to convert a PDF using Adobe Export PDF, the file is 8.6mb, when I click to convert it says "file failed to convert using Adobe Export PDF online" I tried disabling recognised text, still didn't work. Followed the link to the ExportPDF web interface, it says export complete so I save, however when you click it says 'internet explorer has stopped working' and it closes the programme. It says in Properties- Applications...and then it's blank. After PDF producer it says Acrobat Distiller 7.0 (windows) . I have comverted 7 other files in the same series, some of which are bigger, however there is just won't convert. Please help....

Sorry to hear you're having trouble!
Could you try the steps outlined in this document: http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1831 ?
After going through those steps, try converting from the ExportPDF web interface again.

The above error appears due to date format is differnt from SAP query generator and SQL server.
So you need convert all date in above query to SQL server required format.
Try to convert..let me know if not possible.
