PDF File - Author Name and Title

Product: Microsoft Access 2003 Windows XP Professional
Problem: When creating PDF documents using Microsoft Access forms as the source, the PDF document is created with a title and author other than what is desired. Thus I have to manually enter the desired information into the PDF document.
Question 1: Where is the default information (author and title) being sourced from?
Question 2: How do I change this default information.

You can edit the Name in Acrobat/Reader's Identity object, but login name is pass from the OS. But changing the Name in the identity object will not change the "Author" name of the PDF. You could try setting the Author/User name in FrameMaker's properties. If that does not work, you can create an Acrobat menu item, tool bar button, or batch process to change the "Author" name value in the PDF's by using JavaScript.

Cannot open PDF file with name "CRB"

I updated Acrobat Reader to X version on my laptop recently and found something wired. When I tried to open some PDF file including name "CRB" (either the folder path or file name), some error appeared said "Before proceeding you must first launch Adobe Acrobat and accept the End User License Agreement".
After changed the name to some other one (without CRB), the file could be opened properly. Or, if I opened the Acrobat Reader X first and then open the file using menu options, it could be also opened.
Very wired, right? Did anyone meet the same problem?

I got there quickly as I was there several times. Yesterday after restarting my computer nothing has changed, but this morning I could chose between Adobe Reader XI and Adobe Reader and Adobe Manager Helper. And it works! Trying to drag pdf files i have and combine them into one pdf file in the account i just purchased with Adobe. when i drag a pdf file over Adobe doesn't accept it. says it can not convert this type of file. but it is an Adobe file. Do I need to change it?

If the PDF supports it then you can try opening the PDF in iBooks on your phone and use the 'share' icon (the square with the upward pointing arrow) to email it to yourself (some PDFs a protected and don't support emailing) and use 'open in' in the Mail app on your iPad to copy it to its Mail app.
Or you can connect the phone to your computer's iTunes and do File > Devices > Transfer Purchases to copy it over to your iTunes (that should copy PDFs and/or epubs that are in the iBooks app, not just ibooks) and if using a Mac with Mavericks or Yosemite on it then do File > Move Books From iTunes in its iBooks app, and you can then sync it to your iPad.

How to prevent middle names and titles from appearing in contacts

My iPhone is syncrhonised with MS Outlook, and I've used Outlook as my system of record for contacts for many years. I have hundreds of contacts in Outlook, many of which contain middle names and titles.
The problem is that the iPhone displays every contact as Title FirstName MiddleName Surname Suffix. For many of my contacts, particularly when viewed in the Favourites list, I can't even see the contact's surname because the contact's title, first name and middle name(s) take up so much of the row.
How can I stop my iPhone from displaying titles and middle names? Is there a setting somewhere in iTunes that will prevent these fields from being transferred to the iPhone?

I am also experiencing this problem, but I think it started with one of the later iOS 3.x releases or possible iOS4. All of my contacts display their job title (eg. "Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales & Operations") which given the screen real estate means that NONE of the actual Contact name is visible.
This is only happening on my iPhone 3GS (iOS 4.0.2) and does NOT happen on my Mac, my me.com, nor on my iPad (iOS 3.2.2). Which, again leads me to believe this problem was introduced in iOS4.

Is there anyway to stop this from happening?

While setting up the links, if you choose to open the file in a new window then you won't face this issue, then you can simply switch to the previous file and bookmark view will remain as it is.

Microsoft Explorer keeps shutting down during the conversion of a PDF file to Word and gives me an error message regarding the Adobe web page. It keeps circling back to the PDF conversion window and will not allow the process to continue. What can I do to continue the PDF conversion process?

How do I convert my Adobe PDF files to Numbers and Pages

I use Adobe and i am having issues converting their PDF files to Numbers and or Pages.......

If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, it can export to Word .doc and from that you can open the file in Pages.
Otherwise open the pdf in Preview app and manually select and copy the text over to Pages.

I have never used Forms, so I'm not exactly know what you mean.
But APEX application definition have version attribute that you can use.

Adobe Fill & Sign does not yet have a feature to rotate PDF pages but there are several websites that will rotate a PDF for free and then you can bring that PDF with correct orientation into Fill & Sign to fill out. Any of the top hits when you google "rotate PDF free" will work.

Thanks for your suggestions. I checked to see if the options you suggested were set incorrectly but they were set to sync all. This led me to think the problem was actually in the iphone. I re-initialized the iphone and did not allow the system to restore any of the previous settings. In essence, I forced the phone to reset to factory settings. Then my video podcasts started syncing. All is well now. I did notice that I had seven podcasts selected that were "HD" presentations, and as such, are not compatible with the iphone. I don't know if this had anything to do with my earlier situation, but now I'm getting the video podcasts automatically. I'm happy. It wasn't much fun forcing the iphone to forget all of my preferences and I'm still customizing the phone now several days later. I think I have everything working and back to normal except I haven't identified any of my email accounts as of yet. Thanks for your help.
