Pdf file, How do I fit by width in landscap mode on iphone?

In landscap mode, pdf file show full page and I have to zoom in everytime. I want to fit width when put in landscap. How to??

Doesn't seem to be a setting for this in iBooks 3.1 (tested on both an iPad [3rd Gen] and iPhone 4S both w/iOS 6.1.3)
However, a little experimentation reveals -- it depends on the PDF.
If the PDF is text (I used 'PowerShell in Action' - a programming book) you can use the same method as Mobile Safari - Double tap in the text and that section expands to fit the width of the screen in landscape or portrait. Centered on where you tapped in the text.
If the PDF is a single image - like a PDF comic book (I used a volume of 'Girl Genius'), it appears that the double tap to expand doesn't work. If the PDF is already full width, a double tap does appear to shrink it back to full page view.
Unfortunately, this seems to be on a per page basis. When you flip to the next/previous page it goes back to full page view.
Note: There are other PDF viewer apps/apps with PDF viewers built in that behave differently, more like you are looking for. Some are even free.
Hopefully Apple will improve this in the next version.
And, of course, the obligatory disclaimer - YMMV with different PDFs, versions of iBooks, and iOS and this is just a random comment on the Internet. Not warrantee expressed or implied. And my employer (which is not Apple) has no idea I just wrote this.

After you merge the files or combine files ,click on the Page Thumbnails panel on the left hand side.
In the Page Thumbnail panel ,right click and you will get a drop down list .Select the option "Number Pages".
You will see a dialog box with several options .You can renumber the pages from there as per your requirement.

I’m using version 11.0.10. So where the Menu resides in a folder ready to be burnt on to a CD, that same folder is where the links point to.

My illustrator files are showing as pdf files. how do i fix this?

all the pdf files of my computer are showing as illustrator file. and its not just the icon the extention has also changed into .aif. i have tried to change it thorough property>browse. but as soon as i change it to pdf all other the illustrator files of my computer has changed into pdf . what do i do? i work saving same file with .ai extention and .pdf entention , so it's really difficult for me if they change in to one. how do i fix this? please suggest me something.

Acrobat Pro 9.4.5 crashes when I open PDF file - How can I fix it ??

I have a MacPro4,1 with a 2 X 2.226 Ghz Quad-Core Intel Xeon
Processor and 16 GB 1066 MHz DDR3 Memory. On my MacPro4,1,
I have Adobe CS4 Suite installed. I now have Adobe Acrobat
version 9.4.5.
Whenever I open a PDF file, reguardles of size, Adobe Acrobat
version 9.4.5 freezes. This happens even with files less than
1 MB and with any other Acrobat software open. This happens
even if Adobe Acrobat is the only software that is open.
Any ideas about how I can fix this problem?

I'd try uninstalling and reinstalling Acrobat Pro, then reapply the updates to 9.4.5.

AGGHHHH! I have just finished hours of work, making an album on iphoto. I finally finished placing about the 300th photo, all cropped, edited, etc etc. I wanted to check that all the photos were in, so I hit the "clear placed photos" button, thinking it would just leave me with any I'd missed, & instead it wiped my whole album!! Is there any way I can restore it? If not I did save it as a pdf file. How to I purchase the book using the pdf file?

The way is to restore it is to restore your backup from before this happened - that is why you must have backups

I can print everything on my computer except the regular pdf files. I have updated my canon drivers. I have tried to update my adobe reader driver but get the error message that I have files in use. How do I delete or update adobe files when I can't find anyplace there are files in use?

I want to allow my Google group to fill info out on a Numbers form, but the Mac users evidently don't have Numbers. I sent it to them as a pdf file, but text can't be added to it as a pdf file. There has got to be a way. I tried using Tools - annotate - add text, but that didn't really work. Any help?

I have prepared some documents for printing and binding. The printer tells me I need to "place your Word 2007 document into a PDF file with fonts embedded." How do I do that?

      If you are using standard template and which is not working for 2 data ranges.
      I think you can customize using VBA Macros. It is possible using Macros. I'm not sure is it BUG from SAP.
     Try to put VBA code in AFTER_REFRESH i guess.
      You can VBA Macro code mention below.
      for Column D: Columns("D:D").EntireColumn.AutoFit
      For all Columns: Cells.EntireColumn.AutoFit
      For Only Data Ranges: Determine columns from data range using VBA code and use VBA code given for Column .

Scanned pdf file-how to edit/translate

Hi,
I am not very good at working with computers/but pretty good at messing them up...Anyhow, I have a Mac OS X version 10.5.8 and I received a file that I need to translate into my own language (my own translation, no need of computer aid in translating), it is a scanned pdf file. How do I manage to put a cursor in a file like this? Do I need a "character recognition" something software or is it so easy that I can't figure it out?....Thanks for any help/advice you have regarding this,
