Pdf files from printer via Airort Exterme

Hi,
I have a hp > all-in-one > 3300 series.(LASERJET 3330MFP)
I would like to run all my home work through the scanner and have them as a pdf format on my computer via > the Airport Extreme.
I would like to add, I get my print out and dawn and up loads with out any problem.
I can also get the desired pdf format if i connect my G4 to the printer using a usb wire.

No way to do so over an AirPort connection - or generally spoken over any Ethernet connection, regardless wired or wireless, regardless Apple, Windows or whatever.
The reason behind is that any special function an all-in-one device offers, requires direct connection of the printer with the computer via USB.
I also tried for a long time to get my HP Officejet9130 working, but both, Apple and HP, stated that there is no chance.
In my mind, simply the HP drivers would need to get modified, I don't see a real technical reason why it shouldn't be possible.
But the best in your case would be to scan your documents and send them via e-mail. Interestingly, at least at my OfficeJet, e-mails can be sent via the wireless connection. Not sure if your LaserJet 3330 is capable of doing so, but this would be worth a try.
Alternatively you may buy a (very long) USB cable and connect your printer that way with your computer. 10 m to 20 m are no problem for USB.

hey I have Acrobat 8 professional and I used to be able to create PDF files by clicking print, selecting the Adobe PDF printer and so on. Recently it stopped letting me do this by stating that Windows can not print due to current printer setup. I was able to get around it for a while by clicking on save as, create PDF, and chooseing the quick and easy option...very frustrated, I don't know if I need to download a newer version or if it doesn't like my new HP officejet printer (which I removed from my default to try and see if that worked) done with my area of knowledge and need advise

Have you checked to see if the print spooler service is running?
Go to desktop, right click "My Computer" and click "manage",
Open Services and Applications
Click Services
Scroll down to "print spooler" and right click it - does it say "start" or "stop" ?
if it allows you to "start" the printing service, it may be being disabled by something which could be endemic of another problem. HP printer install software is full of mad features these days. Print spooler should start itself automatically on bootup, if it doesn't, that might affect PDF printing.

What happens when you try? There are other reports here that it takes two tries in some applications, though Safari has not been mentioned yet.

Not possible with Adobe Reader. With Adobe Acrobat you can print to Adobe PDF.

Ok. Well, you didn't really answer most of the questions I asked so I'll have to take a guess at a fix.
First, download, install and run the Adobe Reader cleaner tool and use it to remove all traces of Adobe Reader. Then, download and run the full offline installer for the latest version of Adobe Reader that your operating system can accept.

No longer possible to save or print PDF files from browsers

I am suddenly having a problem saving or printing PDF files from the browser, but it extends to all browsers in OS X. I can view the PDF normally but if I try to print as PDF all it shows is two black pages. Then if I try to save as a PDF it tells me the document could not be exported. I just tried this with a PDF and the only way I could get it was via Windows running on Parallels. I've already tried resetting the printer by removing and adding it again with the alt key pressed but this made no difference.
This all started about a week or so ago and I just ignored it at first thinking it was something wrong with a particular file but now it's happening in all cases. I'm running the latest 10.7.3 on a new Mac Pro and everything is up to date. Does anybody know what might be causing this?

Quit Safari.
Open the Library folder in your home folder as follows:
☞ If running Mac OS X 10.7 or later, hold down the option key and select Go ▹ Library from the Finder menu bar.
☞ If running an older version of Mac OS X, select Go ▹ Go to Folder… from the Finder menu bar and enter “~/Library” (without the quotes) in the text box that opens.
Delete the following items from the Library folder:
Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Preferences/com.apple.quicktime.plugin.preferences.plist
Preferences/QuickTime Preferences
Relaunch Safari and test.

The Acrobat 9.x product family passed into "End of Support" mid-year of 2013.
Acrobat 9 support of MS Project via PDFMaker stops with Office 2007.
For Office 2013 support you must use Acrobat XI (11.0.1) or newer.

Firefox 4.0 support for printing embedded PDF files in iFrames via JavaScript

I recently upgraded to Firefox 4.0 and can no longer print embedded PDF documents contained in an iFrame.
My company's web application has several pages which load PDF files from a Servlet into an iFrame. The pages in question all have "Print" buttons which when clicked executes a JavaScript function to obtain reference to the iframe containing the PDF, place it into focus() (e.g., frames['pdfdoc'].focus();), and invoke print() (e.g., frames['pdfdoc'].print();). There are no errors, or exceptions caught when the JavaScript function is invoked, but the "Print" button is no longer operational.
Does Firefox 4.0 no longer support iFrames? The issue goes away if I revert back to ver 3.6.16

I have same issue for printing embedded PDF files in iFrames via JavaScript in Firefox 5.0.
In previous versions it was working fine. But not in Firefox 4.0/5.0.
Is there any solution for this problem?

1) As far as i know there are no FMs to read a file from App server, you can do the same using *OPEN/READ/CLOSE dataset ABAP statements - There are tons of examples for this on the net.
and print the PDF file or send it as an attachment in an email?
You can send the file read from the app server(by the suggested method above) and use CL_BCS to send it as an attachment.
Again there are many examples on the net on how to use CL_BCS for the same.

One method is calling Adobe Acrobat Reader exe from Execute Process Task within SSIS passing the document path as the argument

You can prevent it from being printed by applying a security policy to it
in Acrobat. The rest can't be prevented, unless you spend a LOT of money
on DRM protection.
