PDF formulär på platta tomma varje gång dom öppnas?

Hej!
Har gjort några pdf dokument/formulär som jag tänkte ha på min läsplatta Samsung Tab2.
När jag sen fyller i dokumentet för att skicka iväg det via mejl och sen stänger ner alla program för att sedan öppna och fylla i samma pdf igen så är allt kvar sen gången man fyllde i sist?!
Går det göra dokumenten så att pdf formulären är tomma varje gång dom öppnas?
Det finns ingen sparafunktion på plattan. Vill bara fylla i och mejla för att sedan kunna fylla i ett nytt tomt formulär.

I am trying to figure out how to calculate a tax in my pdf document.
How do you add up a column of numbers and then multiply that total by 0.05 to get what the tax is?

As I understand things, Excel formulas operate through internal processes of Excel, so I wouldn't expect to find any way of transfering this functionallity to a PDF file, which just uses a different, platform independent, language for describing the contents of a page.

Hi All,
We are in NW2004s SP13. I have created a new modal and edited the tool bar to add the Export to PDF button. After reviewing the document Export Data From Visual composer I put the PDF formula but am getting the following error. Since our VC sits in the same server as Enterprise Portal we have created a Remote URL iview for the Web analyzer and used that PCD location in the formula, but still gives the same error.
Could anyone please shed any thoughts on the same. I am enclosing the error message that we are getting and the formula that we are using.

hv you ensured that ADS has been installed and configured? Am not very familiar with config of ADS, but check out note 944221 to troubleshoot this

Formulas and Variables in Universe

I have been trying to find out how to create formulas and variables on universe Level. I know how to accomplish this in Webi. I'd appreciate if someone can point me to any documentation on this issue.

Keynote 6.0 seems to break LaTeXiT: workarounds?

I use LaTeXiT to place equations in my Keynote presentations. In Keynote 6.0, I can still copy equations from LaTeXiT into Keynote, but I can't copy equations from Keynote back into LaTeXiT. Does anyone know of a workaround?

I am working quite a lot now with Keynote 6 and LaTeXiT, and find two sorts of work flow convenient:
(1) Put a brand new formula on your slide
(1.1) Format formula with LaTeXiT
(1.2) Drag and drop pdf formula from uper window of LaTeXiT onto some suitable directory in finder.
        This creates a pdf file containing the formatted formula
(1.3) Drag and drop the pdf file with formula from finder to Keynote slide
(1.4) Re-position formula with Format --> Arrange ---> Position in Keynote if neccessary
(2) Modify and existing formula on your slide
(2.1) Now you should have a formula pdf file in some directory, as sketched in (1)
(2.2) Drag and drop formula file from finder directory to upper window of LaTeXiT.
(2.3) Modify and re-format formula with LaTeXiT
(2.4) Drag and drop the formula into finder directory
(2.5) Mark old formula on slide
(2.6) Use Format --> Image --> Replace in Keynote, select new formula in file selection menu
(2.7) In several cases, the new formula will not fit properly on the slide.
       Then press Format -> Arrange -> Original Size. This should display the picture properly, and you can
        re-size it according to your needs

Possibilities for changing purchase order print behavior

I'm kind of new in SAP MM and I had to deal with PDF formula for purchase order. Now I have some questions about what is possible to change behavior for printing data in purchase order print.
First of all we're using our own PDF formula which is a little bit like standard formula MEDRUCK_PO. We're using programm SAPFM06P with routine ADOBE_ENTRY_NEU, no changes in SAP standard behavior were made.
Everyhting works fine with that but we sometimes have some special cases where our user wants some other behavior. Can you please say if it is possible and if so where to do that? (Customizing, formula itself)
1. Changes in purchase order positions -> We have for example 4 purchase order positions. Now for one of them the price has changed. When printing formula then, you only see the changed order position. When you want to see all, user has to change some detail in every of the other positions, thats pretty annoying.
2. Header text 'Changes in purchase order' -> Sometimes the header text is displayed as 'Changes in purchase order', sometimes as "normal" 'Purchase order'. I know it has something to do with status (field DRUVO) of purchase order, but its not clear when which status is set. Any help? :-)
3. Deleted positions -> How is the standard behavior when a position is deleted? I think it will not be listed anymore in the positions printout. Anyway I can control it by catching LOEKZ field. But how is it with the total value field in sum data. I think it still is the whole value including the deleted positions. Is this changeable?
I know there is some customizing in SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages
but I'm not quite sure how it works :-(

SAP can differentiate between a new created purchase order and an existing purchase order that only got changed.
Based on that it can be customized whether you print the full purchase order or only the part that was changed, and accordingly you may get different texts on your form (... 'Changes in purchase order', sometimes as "normal" 'Purchase order'.)
A deletion of a PO item is as well a change. If you decided to print only a change message, then you get a print having the item number and a text *** item deleted *** or similar based on your customizing.
But if you decided to print the full PO in both cases (creation and change), then you get the full PO but the deleted item is no longer among them and no hint either that it was deleted..
Basically this setting is made in SPRO -> Materials Management -> Purchasing -> Messages -> Output Control -> Message Types -> Define Message Types for Purchase Order

Sizing DOM trees created by Oracle Java XML parser (v2)

Has anyone seen/got any formulas that can be used to calculate the DOM tree memory requirements for a given XML document.
My team has developed some software that, acts like an XSLT, and it runs out of memory for bigger documents. I am able to allocate more memory (usuing java -Xmx<larger figure>) to the process but it would be nice to go to my team leader and say that a file of a given structure would require so much memory.
At the moment, we are guessing and using the Runtime.getRuntime().freeMemory() and Runtime.getRuntime().TotalMemory()
to provide some very rough estimates.
XSLTs wouldnt be able to do what we want. If I could give the team leader some figures then he may be able to justify converting the code to use JDOM instead of a DOM tree.

Error on exporting to PDF - Exception in formula - this field is not known

We just upgraded the crystal to new CRJ files and the reports started to throw errors.
We are sending the output as a byte array stream
inputStream = (ByteArrayInputStream)reportClientDoc.getPrintOutputController().export(ReportExportFormat.PDF);
We have 2 procedures in the report and exception is thrown for every formula based on procedure 1.
If we remove all formulas report works fine. Does anyone have a clue.
Just to let you know, the reports were working fine using previous crystal APIs. Its only after new jars, the exception is thrown. Any help is highly appreciated.

i have a report that contains some formula columns, the report is running correctly in the report builder, but when running the report through the web as .pdf format all report field appear except those formula columns,

Exporting to PDF - Selection Formula confirmation message

We're using Crystal Reports 11 from within a Delphi 7 application which, on a timed schedule, loads data into a MS SQL server database and generates and prints or e-mails a report of the data loaded in PDF format. This process should be automatic and not require monitoring but we're now seeing the report generation being stalled by a confirmation message appearing when the report is generated. The message reads:
Confirm
Selection Formula for {Report Name} to Printer // or To Export
{Selection Formula Here}
Continue?
(RETRY=edit with Crystal, All=copy to clipboard)
Buttons: Yes No Retry All
Any help appreciated.

I'm wondering if this could be easily fixed by going to the links panel and then use the "Copy Links To" and set up a new links folder for the job.
That would copy all the links and then relink to that folder - right?
Perhaps that's a quick way to get rid of this problem.
It could be anything though - I've had weird, but not this problem, of files that are on a server can cause link problems.
I don't know - it's a one of those have to sit down and look at the files to see what's going on situation - like Bob already said.

Seeking Pdf form help - javascript formula to auto-populate fields based on data from other fields.

Hi there, I am new to PDF form work, and am wondering if someone could help me with a javascript formula.
I want to auto-populate the EXPIRYDATE field, as the same date as the entered AUTHORIZATIONDATE field, but 4 years later.
So, I want to be able to enter 11/14/2014 in the AUTHORIZATIONDATE date, and have 11/14/2018 auto populate in the EXPIRYDATE field.
Seems simple I know, but I've messed around quite a bit and can't seem to make it work. Is this possible??

This can only be done with custom JavaScript programing.
The value of date type fields are text field and not numeric data. The first task is to convert the dates to a number on some type of number sequence that is a mapping to dates.
Have you looked at the Acrobat JavaScript API Reference, the MDN JavaScript reference?
I would use the Acrobat JavaScript util.scand to covert the date string to the number of milliseconds from January 1, 1970 midnight. and then use the getFullYear method of the date object for the year value and add 4 years to that value and then use the setFullYear method to set the year for the date object. Now you can use the util.printd method to format the date object as a date string with a specific format.

Why a field with javascript formula is not displaying result on .pdf form

I have created a .pdf form from an exel file.
I have assigned java script formula such as

Problem is, result is not displayed on form.
What should I do?

Exporting Numbers sheet to pdf but keeping formulas?

I want to know if it's possible to export a Numbers sheet to .pdf in a way that let's me keep the formulas? My goal is to create a pdf which let's the user answer a series of questions where the answers create a result and a couple of diagrams. I have it all drawn out in Numbers but can't figure out how to create a pdf out of this. If I export the sheet to pdf the formulas disappear....

Hi Owen,
This seems to be a good candidate for the sharing function in Numbers 3 rather than a pdf. You simply send the person the link to the spreadsheet. They enter some data right through their browser and (since, unlike with a pdf, the formulas are there) they will see the results and the charts change on their end. They don't need to have a Mac or Numbers installed; just any computer with a modern browser.
That works well for one user at a time. If you have different users who will each be inputing different things you can set up multiple copies of your document and share each one to a different person.
If they have a modern Mac updated to Mavericks you can of course just send them your document and they can open it on their end, since Numbers is now free to all.
Obviously, none of this is advisable if data integrity is an issue, because once you share a document, both they and you (or anybody else who gets their hands on the link) can go in and change values and formulas until such time as you revoke the sharing. There's no password protection for shared documents. Hope that's coming.

PDF to DOC. How to convert formulas to pics.

Hello there. I've got a PDF file containing text and formulas. I ran it through text recognition and exported to .DOC. The text recognition appeard fine, but the formulas became absurd. You may see this on screens below from Acrobat and next one from Word.
So , my question is how to explain Acrobat to leave the formulas as pictures?
And aslo -- is there any kind of settings exist to improve the text recognition?

Hi,
You can correct text recognition errors by going to tools>enhance scans>text recognition>correct recognized text (If you are using Acrobat DC). You can also directly edit the document from Edit PDF tool.
Acrobat recognizes text over the entire document and so it will process the formulas as well. Currently the formulas cannot be left as images.

Excel to PDF (With formulas)!! tricky!!

I just want to copy the excel template (with formulas)
and make it an interactive PDF (with formulas)

The formulas wil be lost. Designer does not import Excel docs .....but if you have acrobat you can print the excel file to PDF (Distill it) then import that PDF into Designer. This will give you the structure of your form you will still have to lay fields on top and then add the formulas after the fact. You might find it easier to build it from scratch in Designer.
