It sounds like you have been using iCloud. Did you have "sync books" selected?

I can't transfer a rented movie from my iMac to my iPad. It get the following error message- the rental could not be transferred to the iPad because it has already been transferred to another computer or device. I have not transferred it to anywhere device.

I changed my Apple ID and my icloud storage was not transferred to the new one, how can I retrieve it?
To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. However, with iOS 7, you must provide the password for the old ID to turn of Find My iPhone before you can delete the account.
If the old ID is an earlier version of your current ID, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password. -
iTunes says I have authorized five computers so I can no longer play music I have purchased. I have not replaced my computer once. Why does iTunes say this?

If you need to authorize your new computer and are unable due to already having five authorized computers, you can deauthorize all computers by doing the following:
1. Click iTunes Store on the left side of iTunes.
2. If you're not signed in to the store, click the Account button, then enter your account name and password.
3. Click the Account button again (your Apple ID appears on the button), enter your password, and then click View Account.
4. In the Account Information window, click Deauthorize All.
Note: You may only use this feature once per year. The Deauthorize All button will not appear if you have fewer than two authorized computers. If you need assistance on using this feature, please contact iTunes Store support via email (http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/).

My Epson Artisan 610 printer will not work with my new iPad 2. Not AirPrint compatible. Only certain HP printers work. Are there any solutions to this other than buying an HP printer?
Epson iPrint doesn't allow printing directly from something like Photos, you have to call up iPrint and THEN select Photos, but it does work and very well. For my Epson Artisan 725, I had it print a photo, best quality, on 4x6 Premium Photo Paper, and it DID automatically select the right "tray" with my photo paper.

Since I joined creative cloud, I have not been able to sync. Why the difference? Worked good during initial trial.
Also I had installed the Mosaic app for ipad before Lightroom mobile came out and I cannot seem to get rid of it. How can I get mosaic out? I have cancelled, I have deleted, I have looked through the files for visible remnants.The sync count is 60 and static. The total number synced so far is 500+. None have been synced from the ipad except for corrections made there on those already synced.
I have deleted the Mosaic app from all machines and checked the library folder and have contacted the Mosaic tech support and they have discontinued my subscription. I still get mosaic messages on initiating Lightroom and sometimes at closing.
I have not tried to sync fewer yet, but some catalogs that I have tried are smaller numbers. Initially, it did well on good connections. Nothing works on my home connections over satellite. -

i have a lot of saved documents on my existing ipad and I want to buy a new one. Will all the documents I have saved on this ipad be transferred to the new ipad when I restore my last backup?

DI don't use automatic backup or sync but keep all my pdf files in a folder on my computer. iTunes then allows me to transfer all of them from the computer to the ipad, or the other way round.
I think you click on Apps - Adobe reader, and at the bottom, there is an Add button. Then you navigate to your folder on the computer and select all the pdf files.
The old version crashes whenever it has transferred 40-50 files, but the new version does not and can transfer all my >1000 pdf files in one go in a few minutes. If you already have some files on the ipad, it asks you to choose to either skip or overwrite files with the same names.
You can also drag the files from the ipad to the folder on the computer, I think.

You might, depending upon what country that you are in (redownloading films isn't possible in all countries), the studios that they are from (even where redownloading is possible not all studios have agreed to it), and whether they are still in your country's store (studios ocassionally remove their films), be able to redownload them on your new iPad via the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app.
If not then you will need to connect your old iPad to your computer's iTunes and copy them over to it via File > Devices > Transfer Purchases, and you can then sync them to your new iPad. -

This seems to be a problem with Yahoo! that started within the past few days. I am assuming that you are accessing your Yahoo! Mail through Safari. Until a fix is issued, you have two options -- (1) use the Mail app included in iOS, logging in with your Yahoo! account information or (2) when in Yahoo! Mail in Safari, click on your profile name/pic in the bottom left corner, choose Options, and then choose the last option, which displays your e-mail using the older classic version of Yahoo! Mail. It's not as pretty or easy to manuever around, but at least it shows the images in your e-mails, which is the most important thing. Both Apple and Yahoo! have been contacted about this issue, so hopefully a fix will be released soon.

I have just bought a brand new Ipad mini and started setting it up. I had updated to os7.4 and after it finshed installing I had to leave it before answering all the set up questions. When I switched it back on it asked me for a pass code which as far as I'm concerned, hasn't been set up yet. Anyone know whats going on!

I have a Kindle and the new iPad 3. I downloaded one of my Kindle books to my iPad. Now I want to remove the book from my iPad. When I highlight the book, the "device" button (which I think I am supposed to use) disappears. How do I get the select the book and get it off the iPad and back to my Kindle? Thanks for your help.
To remove the book simply touch and hold the cover on the main page. A little pop up will ask, remove? Say yes. The book content will de deleted. The cover will remain on your main page with a little down arrow so that you can redownload it if you wan in the cloud view. In the device view, it simply disappears.
Note at the bottom of the page are a couple of switches, labeled cloun and device. The device switch shows you books on your device. The cloud page shows your whole catalog, and the down arrow allows you to bring down anything in your catalog to the device.
