  • I have imported a PDF form (created in adobe acrobat XI pro) into FormsCentral.  I now want to convert this document into a web form so I can embed it into my website.  HOW DO I DO THIS?

    I took a word document I had created and added fields to it in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.  I then imported the PDF in Forms Central and now I am stuck.  All I am able to do with it in FormsCentral is add a submit button.  It will not allow me to edit the document in FormsCentral.  What I ultimately need to do is get this converted to a web form so that I can embed it into our company website.  Additionally, once it's converted, I need to add an option for the user to attach their resume with the file before submitting.  I have looked all over the web and I cannot find an answer as to whether or not I can convert PDFs to web forms in FormsCentral.  This will ultimately determine whether or not the company decides to purchase these programs after the trial version has ended in a few days.

    I tried that first, but FormsCentral does not have the capability to create tables.  The form I need to create is more advanced than what FormsCentral allows.  Do you know if there is a way to create or somehow import a table when creating a web based form on FormsCentral?

  • Reverse Printing Does not work in acrobat 9 pro

    Can anyone help with this? any suggestions?  I am trying to print a PDF portfolio. I need them to print in the reverse order they are currently printing in and checking the box Reverse pages does nothing??

    This does not work in Acrobat XI either for Office 64bit (Office 2013 64 bit)
    Does anybody know the fix for this?
    I called tech support today but they dont seem to know anything about the error although its a known issue with all previous versions of Acrobat for serveral years now.
    I really need to make this work, there is a random google post where I have ot make some regedits, but why can't Adobe fix this known issue since it is nothing new?
    My basic understanding at this point is that even Acrobat XI is a 32 bit app and the programmers at Adobe still dont know how to write the API to talk to a 64bit mail client?
    I really need some help on this if anybody has a real solution.
    Thanks!

  • Can i make PDF presentation 'repeat' on Adobe Acrobat X Pro?

    Hi!
    Im a new here, and i have little problem which i hope you can help me.
    So i must do PDF-presentation which repeat after last page. So when the presentation goes last page it must jump first page, and start presentation again. But i cant find where i can do that trick. So could anyone here help me with that problem? Im using Adobe Acrobat X Pro software. So how i can make presentation repeat, or need i some other software?
    I have tried make Action Wizard new action on "document processing" tab and there "set open options" that makes presentation "single page continous", but that dont make presentation to repeat. So i do something wrong, or that is wrong place where i try do that.
    So im little bit stuck with that, and need advices.
    Thanks!

    You can define a Page Action for the last page in the document, and make it reset to page 0. Right-click a page in the thumbnails panel on the left, choose Properties, then Actions.
    To avoid missing the last page and messing about with timing code, the simple fix is to add a blank page to the end of the document, and give it a 'Page Open' action of "Go to a page View" which moves to your first page.

  • Update will not work for Acrobat X Pro

    I just bought Adobe Acrobat X Pro and it will not let me update the installed version.  Bought it two weeks ago.  It says some components or programs were moved or modified?  So I uninstalled and reinstalled and it still will not let me do the latest update (same message).  Could it be an older version I need to remove (I have an old version of reader).

    Which update are you trying to apply?  Also which operating system are you using?  I would recommend posting this information as well as any relevant error messages to the Adobe Acrobat forum.  The users there will best be able to help you with your difficulties updating the software.

  • Hp convert to pdf license interferes with adobe acrobat x pro

    Windows 7, Office 2010 with the HP Convert to PDF plugin.  Installed Adobe CS5.5 Jan 7, 2012, on this computer.  Everything worked fine.  Sometime later (last summer?) my CS5.5 Acrobat X Pro failed, symptom is that it hangs in a loop asking me to accept terms and conditions.  In Word, if click on addins, I find HP convert to PDF and also that its license has expired.  I think this is the reason that my CS5.5 Acrobat X Pro no longer works.  Can you pls tell me if you agree and how the heck I get my Adobe license back?

    I renamed my PDF Complete folder so Word couldn't find it and now I can make pdfs in Word.  But I still have the endless demand to accept terms and conditions if I try to open Acrobat X Pro to  make a pdf.  Bizarre.

  • Windows 8 will not load Adobe Acrobat X Pro

    I changed computers and it has windows 8 on it.  The above referenced app cannot load.  How can I fix this.

    I believe I may be having the same issue. I click on the application from the start menu to open it and nothing happens. When I click on the icon, the start screen closes and I am back on my browser screen. I have also tried to right-click a PDF file and select open with Adobe Acrobat and nothing happens.
    My other Adobe CS6 products (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, etc) are working fine.

  • Dynamic stamp scripting which worked in Acrobat 9 Pro not working in Acrobat XI Pro

    I don't know JavaScript, so I am flying blind. I have recently updated to Acrobat XI Pro (on Win 7 Pro). I have had trouble setting up the same dynamic stamps that I had working in Acrobat 9. Just creating the stamps has been difficult, but the real pain has been trying to use the same scripting that I was using before. In particular, I have a field in which I want to enter details of a payment, such as cheque number. The script that worked before was:
    var cAsk = "Enter Payment Details" ;
    var cTitle = "Payment Details:  ";
    if(event.source.forReal && (event.source.stampName == "#X-MzCINchnGa7KblIGbv5C"))
      var cMsg = app.response(cAsk, cTitle);
      event.value = cMsg;
      event.source.source.info.exhibit = cMsg;
    The JavaScript debugger goes nuts about event.source being null and I am completely lost.
    Can anyone suggest a script which is likely to work for me? Is there any tutorial or similar material dealing with these issues in Acrobat XI Pro and in language that I am likely to understand?
    Thanks in advance.

    Change the start of the if-statement to:
    if (event.source && event.source.forReal && ...

  • Does not install Adobe Acrobat Xi Pro

    I am running windows 7, with 6GB of free storage space.
    I downloaded the free trail version and then went to install and got the following error 1327 Invalid Drive E:\mapped to a user folder .....
    For details refer to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/404/kb404946.html
    I tried both recommendations using Subst and running Fixit and no joy at all.  What rubbish software....
    do they have quality control?  is there a version that works?

    I have now fixed the problem, I had to put a SD memory card into my laptop & create a drive E.  then is was possible to install the trial software.  All other options recommended by Adobe did not work. Subst nor fixit from Microsoft did nothing.
    How strange!!!
    Thanks for your response

  • Trial download not working - Adobe Acrobat Pro

    I have installed "Adobe Download Assistant" per instructions but  download is not just starting nor can I find anything in the assistant that can help me initiate it.

    User70 are you receiving any specific error messages?  You may want to review Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html for suggestions on how to resolve the current difficulties which you are facing with the Adobe Download Assistant.

  • PDF Printer not working with Acrobat 8 & Vista Ultimate 64bit

    I have not been able to print pdf's.  I am uptodate on upgrades and have installed, reinstalled printers and repaired the program etc.
    When I install an adobe printer I get the Adobe PDF Converter.  When I try to print with it, I get an audible failure signal and nothing ever happens.  Sometmes I get a sceen indicating it has failed, sometimes not.  I have had this problem since upgrading to a new computer with Vista Ultimate 64bit OS.
    I have seen various "Fixes" but none seem to address my problem or work for it.
    Anyone with the same problem and perhaps a solution?

    What version of AA8?

  • Can I use Adobe Acrobat X Pro to batch convert v1.6 PDF files to v1.3?

    Recently I have posted up a project so the contractor can read the text in the PDF and create hyperlinks from these text. These PDFs are in format of engineering drawings.
    He informed me that he was going to use PHP to read the PDF text as javascript cannot.
    He then asked me to convert the version of our current PDF files from v1.6 to a lower version: v1.3, because php cannot work with higher PDF versions.
    So I found this PDF version converter: [link removed by forum host] but it only converts one by one. I have like a few hundreds of them, so I really need something to do batch convert.
    Could anyone help me out here? We (the small business I am working at) do not have Adobe Acrobat X Pro but will buy it if it can do the job.
    Otherwise could anyone advise me of any other software that can do this?
    Thanks heaps.

    Yes, Acrobat XI Pro can do this very easily. You can create an Action that runs the PDF Optimizer tool, which can convert the file content so it's compatible with any earlier version of PDF (as well as other things). Actions can then be run against a folder of files.

  • Viewing PDF Portfolio using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro in Sharepoint Foundation 2013

    When opening a PDF Portfolio, created using Adobe Acrobat XI Pro, in Sharepoint Foundation 2013 the pages are blank in the default Layout view but you can see the contents in File view. How do we correct that so the files appear in both views? Local IT stated it is an ADOBE problem.
