PDF list on ipad is wrong when viewed through itunes on iMac

I have changed all the pdf tiles within iBooks on my Mac to match how they are named on my iPad. I've viewed them on both platforms and matched them item for item. When I attached my iPad to my iMac last night to sync it and get updated apps, I clicked on the iPad icon on the left sidebar and then on books, listed across the top which opens ibooks, it says. The pdf lists that comes up there is NOT the same as the one that show the books listed in iBooks. I took one of the titles that shows up in the inaccurate list on my iPad while it is plugged into itunes and did a search for it on both my iMac and my iPad and it does not come up on either platform.
Does anyone know where the info lives that shows up in books when you have your ipad connected to itunes and have clicked on the ipad in the left column and then books across the top? It is not the list as it shows up in iBooks on the iMac so I have NO idea where it lives.
Also, this is a hard topic to post about because some say it is an iPad issue and some say it is an iMac issue.

I am running 10.9.1 for my OS and itunes 11.1.5 and I think it is current. I update usually within a week of new OS as I like to wait and see if the new update settles in nicely before jumping in.
I do have 7.0.4 on my ipad. I have not run the new update as I am uncertain what will happen with my ibooks items. As I mentioned in my OP, I have the itmes named the same on my iPad and in my list on the iMac in the library. When I open itunes to do and update and sync, the list of books in the iTunes window when I select books is NOT what shows in ibooks itself. So I've held off on the ipad update.

It goes by the Track # field, as seen in on a list in iTunes. So, make sure the Track # field is correctly entered for each song when you review the album on a list in iTunes. Also, make sure the Album field is entered identically for all the songs on the album.
You can edit those fields by doing a Get Info on a song, and going to the Info windows's Info tab,

Videos work fine, but when view in ITunes Video/Audio are not Synced up

Im not sure how to get around this but at the moment im converting my DVDs to mp4 format to view through itunes/appletv.
The MP4 files work fine when watched in Windows Media Player or VLC Media but when i watch it through ITunes the video/audio is not matching up.
How can i fix this?

When I try to play H264 format Movie files via iTunes (9.0.2.25) or Quicktime Player (7.6.5) the audio is half to a full second ahead of the video.
I have tried multiple H264 format videos and they all have the same problem.
If I try playing the same files in Windows Media Player then the video and audio is all in sync as it should be.
I have tried multiple machines, Windows 7, Vista and XP, all of which show the same issue.
Any help in resolving this issue would be highly appreciated.

TableView LINEEDIT works differently when viewed through Portal

I have a simple table with a few columns of data that I display and allow the user to change a row using the selectionMode = "lineedit". The columns are all controlled using htmlb tableViewColumns.
When I test my application from the WebAs the table looks fine. If a user selects a row they can see the entire amount of text that appears in a column they want to change
However, when the BSP comes up in our SAP portal and the user selects a row only the first 20 (or so) characters can be seen and the user must use the arrows keys to get to the part of the text they wish to change. Is this a setting somewhere?

For the <htmlb:inputField> look at attributes maxlength, size and width.
width: Determines the text width for the input field. We recommend that you use the size attribute instead of width.
size: Determines the size of the input field.
maxLength: Maximum length of the user input.
I must admit that this documentation is not tell me enough. Will ask on Monday about this.
As for your remark "works differently when viewed through Portal": You keep in mind that once a BSP application is running with the portal, all stylesheets (*.CSS) files are loaded from the portal server, and not the webAS.
Now it could happen that you are running an EP and an older (or incompatible) patch level than your BSP stylesheets are at the moment. For EP6, starting from what I remember at SP11, there is planned a technique to install the latest stylesheets from service market place. You ask about this via OSS, queue EP-PIN-?-STY (something like this).

Iphone 6 has 33 gig of 'other' when viewed in itunes.

You have a corrupt iOS installation
Restore as new and add back up with expectation the corruption is in the backup somewhere
If that is the case then Restore as new and recreate

Pdf doc showing lots of lines when viewed via tablet/ipad & mobile

I create a weekly newsletter for our local District Councillors. This is done in Word using tables, and then Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 to convert to a pdf. When viewed on our website, this is perfect. However, when viewed via a tablet or mobile, lots of lines have appeared in the document. This spoils the whole look of the newsletter. More of our Councillors are using tablets rather then desktop pcs now so this is becoming a real issue for me.
Can anyone advise if an upgrade to more recent version would solve this problem?

When viewed on ipads, its on the web browser - Safari, but some Councillors have Google Nexus, so via the Google browser. The lines appear on both types of tablets.
But the lines are also there when the pdf is opened as an attachment, so its something that's happening in the creation of the pdf....... stuck on this one... run out of ideas.

I use iBooks to store and organize my PDFs. You can get iBooks free from the App Store.
If your are viewing a PDF in Safari you can tap the PDF and get the option to "Open in iBooks." once you open the PDF in iBooks you can create different collections and store related items together.
Besides getting PDFs from Fari you can receive them in emails. Tap to get the open in iBooks choice.
If the PDFs are on the computer you normally sync with you can copy them into the Book section of iTunes on your computer so that the next time you sync they will be copied to your iPad. Once on your iPad you can move them into Collections that you might have created.

We uploaded a pdf to our web site but when viewed in Modzilla items are boxed and masked. Is there a way to make a pdf that is friendly to all browsers?

When viewed in Safari and other browsers the pdf looks like it was intended. In Modzilla there are shaded boxes covering headlines and artwork. Makes it look like a jumble. Here is a link

HT201406 I purchased a new iPad 3. When viewing Facebook photos a white ring in the center of the photo appears randomly. I can move photo around with finger and one ring stays in center of screen even on blank part of screen. Help.

Has anyone experienced a white ring ( like a Cheerios or life saver candy shape) frozen in center of screen when viewing Facebook photos? You ca move the picture around with your finger, even minimize it and the ring is in the center of the screen. It is random not on all photos as you swipe through them. Could be on any profile photos. When you click done and go back into photos it disappears on the photo or photos that had it previous , but may sow up again on other photos . Again it's a perfect shaped white ring in center of screen. Only on Facebook.

Not familiar with that but it is worth trying a Reset [Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for 10 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. The screen will go blank and then power ON again in the normal way.] It is app and data safe!

I am facing error (Unable to retrive data from database)(Vendor code-156) while accessing Crystal report from client machine throgh SAP B1.I have imported Crystal report through manage layout.The crystal reported is in shared in SAP server B1 SHR folder.I am able to access data from crystal report when viewed otherwise.When accessed crsytal report through SAP b1 on SAP Server crystal report is working fine.

Go To Administration / System Initialisation / Authorisation / General Authorisation & Set Authorisation for user.
If you have to Set Authorisation for user allready then follow this steps.
1.Restore Database as Test Company.
2.Export Report From Live Company.
3.Import this Report in Test Company as different name.
4.Export Report from Test Company have you Imported as deifferent name.
5.Again Import this Report in Live company as different name
I don't know what's the logic behind it.

HT201412 iPad 2, ios 7.0.2; Apple logo when cover opened requiring a reset to start iPad even after system restored through iTunes. Same problem with Lock / Unlock off.

This problem only started after installing ios 7.0.2 on 3 Aug 2013. The iPad must now be switched off before closing the magnetic cover or the system freezes displaying the Apple logo. I think the lock up occures as the cover is closed as the iPad was quite warm when I returned to use it about 2 hours later. The battery was fully charged just prior to the upgrade, but, after a system reset to get the iPad running again, I found the previously full battery down to abt. 20%. I have tried turning the (auto) "Lock / Unlock" off but closing and re opening the cover still reveals a black screen with the Apple logo, and the need to reset. I restored the iPad through iTunes but the problem still remains........any ideas any one.........APPLE ???

No the iPad has never been jailbroken (or dropped, knocked, dunked or sat on)

Both of the above was conducted on a clean install with no backups restored.
The problem ocurred immediately after the iOS 7.0.2 upgrade. I have used the iPad every day since I got it shortly after version 2 came out and it had performed flawlessly right up to this upgrade. The upgrade was done wirelessly and the battery was fully charged. The iPad was disconnected from the charger before the start of the upgrade and no problems were encountered during the upgrade. I closed the cover on completion and that appears to be when the problem started. All subsiquent restores have been through iTunes 11.1.1.11 with no reported problems.
