Mail won't fully load messages

Ever since updating to 10.4.5, I open Mail, and the circle that shows the progress gets to about 50% to 95% (differs every time) and then hangs. I let it sit for an hour, still nothing. The only way to stop it is to force quit, and sometimes that takes a minute or two. My modem light is blinking like it's transferring data from the 'net, but Mail never fully loads the messages. I can see the headers, but clicking on them gives me the spinning beach ball and Mail says 'Loading Message' in the preview box.

Does this happen with all messages or only specific messages.
It sounds like that this might be an HTML email and Mail is trying to download images from a remote site. Perhaps the remote site is down or a certain image within the email is linked wrong and Mail is trying to download an image that isn't there.
That's a big problem with HTML emails. Try viewing plain text emails and see if you get the same result.

Pc suite wont send or load messages

I have a nokia n70 with all the latest updates but for some reason when i connect the n70 up to the laptop and want to send messages through nokia suite it wont work. EVERY time it just says "Failed to send the message". It also doesnt load messages in my inbox either. Please help me.

I have exactly the same problem after upgrading via the "Update Phone Software" icon on the Nokia PC Suite interface.
Sending and loading of messages worked perfectly before the upgrade. Now I can not do either. Very Frustrating.
I previously had version 7.1.40.6 which which worked fine and I have now re-installed it after removing the upgraded version using: Nokia_PC_Suite_Cleaner_7_1_1.exe.
But the problem remains. Nokia Support please advise how to resolve this issue and get my current version (7.1.40.6) of Nokia PC Suite working again.

Apple Mail - why does it load messages so slowly?

On my old computer, running Snow Leopard, Apple Mail loaded messages instantly.
Now, on my new, and much, much faster retina MacBook Pro, it takes Apple Mail 2 to 4 seconds to load even a text-only message.
It doesn't even make a difference if there is a large image in the message, or not.
Mail just takes forever loading.
Have you noticed the slow-down of Mail as well?

Back up all data.
Select the named mailbox in the mailbox list, then select
Mailbox ▹ Rebuild
from the menu bar. Try to delete the message again.

I downloaded Firefox but can't open it. I keep getting "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" message. If it's a firewall issue, how do I change my firewall to accept Firefox?

I have used Firefox for a number of years but some time ago I got a virus on my computer. I loaded eset nod32, removed the virus and cleaned the old files etc. using ccleaner.com. Now I keep getting the "The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading" message and I haven't been able to use firefox since then. I have uninstalled and re-installed it several times with no avail. I suspect there is something in my windows frrewall stopping it.

If you want to check the Firewall, follow this-
1. Click Start Menu > Control Panel > Security Center.
2. Under the "Manage security settings for" click Windows Firewall.
3. On the Exceptions tab, do one of the following-
1. If Mozilla Firefox Firefox is there in the list, make sure it's checked.
2. If Mozilla Firefox is not there, close the Windows Firewall window.

I rented Iron Man 2 and it stopped 1/4 the way in, got loading message.

Last night I rented iron man 2 hd on my new apple tv and about a quarter of the way in I got a loading message and it took about 20 minutes for it to start playing again. It happened about three more times. I used Netflix and had no issue plus stream stuff from my mac with no issues. It really bumbed me out because I had not seen the movie before and it took baout an hour longer to watch with all the stops. I don't think this was a network issue rather than a glitch in the new rental streaming on iTunes. I would like a refund but I guess that is more hassle than it's worth. I hope this doesn't happen again on my next rental. has anyone else tried a rental with the new apple tv and had this issue?

Consider yourself lucky you even got to watch any of the movie! I rented Avatar last night in HD and it said it would be ready in 229 minutes. Yeah. Streaming wise the Xbox 360 has them beat hands down. I can hit play on there in HD and it starts to play almost instantly.

Secure HTTP FDF - PDF loads blank IE7 window

I've tried googling this a 100 ways and found nothing much.
Using IE7 and Reader 8
When a client clicks a link [a href='https://website.com/getinfo.asp#FDF' target='_blank'], the ASP page creates and displays a FDF file with /F (http://website.com/mypdf.pdf)
Problem is the client browser opens a blank browser page and Reader gives an error '.... this file could not be found'
If the link is changed to open in the same page then PDF loads correctly. Unfortunately business rules require that the PDF is loaded in a new window.
If 'Do not save encrypted pages to disk' is un-checked in IE then the PDF loads correctly in both new and same window. But again business rules require that the option is checked.
So how do I get the FDF (https) to load the PDF (http) in a new window in IE7 and Reader 8????
Any suggestions would be helpful

Well.. I solved this with workaround.
When a user clicks the link the user is now redirected to a blank page which opens in a new window. After 100ms the page redirects to the FDF generating page. The FDF is generated and calls the PDF.
Strangely the redirect page had to be timed because an ASP or HTTP redirection wouldn't work. I had to use a JavaScript times redirection. I don't know what difference it made but it works now!!
Hope this helps some other soul..

I have written a Java program using MQSeries Libraries. This program reads from and writes to two queues of a Queue Manager on a different machine. This program works fine when it is run from Unix prompt. But when I try to call this program from Oracle8i stored procedures, it gives the same above message :
'Unable to load Message Catalog - Mqji'.
I have loaded all the MQSeries Classes from com.ibm.mq and com.ibm.mqservices alongwith my java class file using loadjava utility of Oracle8i. I have also loaded the all mqji* files from /../mqm/java/lib directory.
Do I need to set up anything else to run my Java Program from Oracle8i database?

pls do these steps to reset your printer back to factory defaults....
Hope this will work...
1. while the printer is on- unplug the power cord.
2. when the printer switched off- pls press and hold 3 and # key buttons while reconnecting the power cord back to the printer.
3.when you see a message " Improper shutdown" just press ok to continue
4.select your appropriate language and country to continue
5. wait the printer to initialize.
6. When you see the normal screen, reconnect the printer again back to the wireless network using the wireless set-up wizzard from the printer's control panel.
7. Try to print and scan wirelessly.

Each time i invoke it i get the folowing message :

And the table is left empty.
The translation of the above message is :
SQL LOADER Validation Point <COMMIT> reached. number of logical records 52
What doese it mean ?

Constantly getting "Loading" messages when trying to open mail

Constantly getting "Loading" messages when trying to open messages within "Mail." Funny, these appear to be messages sent to my .mac account. Apparently, I am able to open gmai.com messages. Any advice.

What does the error message say? (Precise text, please.)

Open PDF First message in Adobe.PDFBookPlugin.api

Hi,
I am using Adobe.PDFBookPlugin.api for merging different pdf's into one and after merging it open merged PDF and above this one message popups that says "Open PDF First" If we click this button it start execution of next step and if we don't click on this button it stops execution of next commands.
As of now we are using it in ackgroud process so there is no interaction on user so ho we can avoid/disable this message so that we can proceed next steps
FYI: Some times if we not click on this message automatically it will close that pdf and continue execution of remaining processes.
#I am using ASP.NET with VB.
Any other requirement please let me know.

Thanks for reply. I tried with a dummy pdf first but when it open dummy pdf infront of that it shows a message as: There was an error opening this document. This file can not be found. and on OK button. but Now Open PDF First message is not comming.
Again i need to click on OK Button. (User Interaction required- so condition is remain same)
Even thought if i dubug it, its working fine without any message.
What to do for these messages generated by Adobe?
Any Idea? Please share with me!!!!

"resource not loaded" message

Hello!
I´ve a library that was implemented on LabView 5.1 and it worked fine.
Then, one day, i tried to open this library using LabView 7, and it
worked as well, but now, whenever i try to open the program using
LabView 5.1 it pops up a "resource not loaded" message.
Well, i´m lost... any help will be appreciated.

Is it IMAP or POP account?
Open Activity Monitor in Applications>Utilities, how much Memory free & Hard Disk space does it show?
Not certain, but this can fix myriad Mail problems...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, then move these folder & file to the Desktop.
Move this Folder to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Caches/Mail/
Move this file to the Desktop...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/Envelope Index
Reboot.
If that doesn't do it and you can afford to redo all your Rules, try these & reboot...
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist
/Users/YourUserName/Library/Mail/MessageRules.plist.backup

Missing Loading Message in webDynpro iview

Hi,
we have developed some WebDynpros. We have created some webdynpro iview to embed these webdnypros into a portal role. When I run the webdynpro without the portal or in the preview of the iview creator, the round role of the loading message is displayed well. But when I embed the iview into the portal role, the loading message is not vissible during the webdynpro picks up the data from backend system.
We are using SAP NW04s SPS10. The parameter of the ivew to show the loading message is still enabled.
Has anyone of you similiar experiences?
