PDF Merge - merged report ages are not continuous but starting in new page.

Hi,
we tried using - FOUtility.mergeFOs(java.io.Reader[] foReaders, java.util.Properties prop) to merge and create a single PDF file but its not working as expected.
Issue:
The space of output pdf page 1 is discarded and the second merged file always starting in new page.
Input:
Report1 having 1 page
Report2 having 2 pages - (another description )
Expected Output PDF:
Page 1 ( report1) , Page 1( report 2's page1 and continues ) to page 2(report 2)
Actual Output PDF :
Page 1 ( report 1), Page 2( report 2's page1), Page 3 ( report 2's page 2)
Issue:

Anyone faced this issue before, if yes, how did you solve it ?

The output is a chm file. I am compiling as MS HTML Help
under RoboHelp x5.
After doing a little more trail work, I have noticed some
other "strange" happenings. I can get the porjects to merge, but
from the TOC all of the articles open in a new window. From the
index, however, they all open as they should--in the topic frame
from the main window. Not sure why that is.
For a brief synopsis, here is what I have at this point:
A "master" project file that includes:
One new project for a section that is
complete.
One project from the existing documentation.
I am not sure if I need to have the window definitions for
each project would impact this or not.
Through trial and error, I have narrowed down the problem to
the original documentation project. If I remove it from the TOC and
generate the project, the new topics display as they should.
I will keep testing and see what I came come up with. If you
have any idea as to what I might change in the original
documentation to get it to work just let me know.

Hi,
My data acquisition time is not continuous but loops over and over
again. Could someone please take a look at my vi to see if you
have any thoughts on how to fix this. Also, I tried to set up my
vi so that I could take the mean of the signal at any time I
choose. However, at the same instance that the data acquistion
time "starts over" again, the mean is calculated (before I trigger it to take the mean)
I have attached my vi and my output file as a text file so that what
I'm trying to say will (hopefully) make a bit more sense.

Hi,
Thanks for responding to my question. Attached is the vi with added
comments as to what I think I am doing. By DAQ time, I mean the
first column of data that is in the data file that I attached
previously. I am only simulating a signal (at the beginning) so
that I can program in my office. I do, however, have the same
problem as stated above when I change the simulate signal to DAQmx
using my instrument.
I hope this clearer. If not, I'll try again.

Existing domain will not load. iweb starts a new page every time i open it

iweb will no longer open the existing domain/site that i have been working on. every time i open the program iweb starts a new domain/site. i have tried moving the newly created domain from the iweb folder and opening the existing one, however i web over rides this and continues to create a new domain.

Try to do the following things:
• Try deleting the preferences file:
1. Quit iWeb
2. Delete the following file:
User/Library/Preferences/com.apple.iweb.plist
3. Relaunch iWeb
If that doesn’t work... Retry it but instead of relaunching iWeb in 3. restart the computer and relaunch iWeb
• Try repairing disk permissions:
1. Go to Applications/Utilities
2. Open Disk Utility
3. Click Macintosh HD
4. Click on Verify Disk Permissions
5. Click Repair Disk Permissions.

We have had GO-LIVE on 2008 April. They have executed balances carry forwrad for 2008 only. Do they need to carry forward balances for 2007 also?
Is this the reason, that the system is showing differances in F.08 report.

My laptop speakers are not working but my headphones work fine

I have an HP Pavilion g6-1d73us laptop and although my headphones work properly the speakers do not. This is a recent problem. I have tried troubleshooting with windows troubleshooter with no results. I have checked all the drivers for audio and they check out fine. I have tried driver software with no success. Windows Media Player does not work. I get an error message when I try to use it. What else can I try? Carl

I have read your post on how your notebook speakers are not working, but the headphones work fine, and I would be happy to assist you in this matter!
The first step I recommend is to follow this document on No Sound from the Speakers (Windows 7). This should help to restore the sound to your speakers.
You can also enable the speakers on your computer as the default playback device. This can be done by following the steps below:
1. Click the Start button
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click on Hardware and Sound (sorting the control panel icons by "category"), and then click on Sound
4. Under Playback, you should see one or two speaker icons. One of them should already have a green checkmark next to it (which will be your notebook's headset device). If the second Speakers icon is not visible, right-click in the list of devices and select Show Disabled Devices
5. A second, disabled icon of "speakers" should appear. Right-click this icon and click Enable
6. Test your speakers
If the issue continues, I recommend returning your notebook to a previous restore point before the speakers stopped working. This can be done by following the steps in this document on Using Microsoft System Restore (Windows 7).

How can it that half of my songs are matched in iTunes Match where the other songs from the same CD (ripped by Itunes) are not matched but uploaded?

I started with ITunes Match a few days ago (I have the latest versions of all OS's etc)
- The whole process took more then two days to complete for the first time.
- Half of my songs are matched in iTunes Match where the other songs most of the time from the same CD (most ripped by ITunes) are not matched but uploaded(?)
- Complete CD's are not recognized, they are however available in the ITunes store (songs in my library not available in ITunes are an exception).
- The match part overall is less then 50%, which is a complete disappointment.....
- When I activate ITunes Match on my IPod, IPhone and IPad the art-work does not load or only partly.
- Loading songs on iOS is extremely slow... and that is definitely not due to my internal network.
- ICloud (ITunes Match) on the apple TV stops working after every 15 seconds because it losses connection to the ITunes server....
I am a real Apple fan for the last decade but what a disappointment is this......before I started with ITunes Match everything worked seamlessly.

The number of Songs that 'matched' is simply a function of the current iTunes Match service process. It is not unusual to have multiple Songs in an otherwise perfectly matched album be uploaded - often it is very possible to find the album in the iTunes Store.
The Artwork does tend to reappear for many over a few days / weeks - however, if your library backup has all Artwork present it would be wise to save the Album Art separately and reapply to Albums not showing art work in the library grid view.
Many of the other performance issues you mention are not typical - though during the past working week or so the Apple Infrastructure has been very heavily loaded with multiples countries having service go-live symultaneously.

Sorry, don't know what you are asking. You have an old iPad Mini 3 and a new iPad Mini 3? How did you set up the new iPad? Did you restore it from a backup of the old iPad? What photos are you not seeing?

Take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried.
1. Start with the steps recommended in this support article.
2. If your model has an audio-out (headphone) port, and a red light is coming from it, the internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size. Inserting any kind of tool in the port may cause damage that won't be covered by your warranty.
If there's no red light, the switch may still be stuck in the headphone position. Try to free it the same way.
3. Boot in safe mode. Don't log in; just reboot as usual when the login screen appears. When you do, make sure the words "Safe Boot" do not appear in the login screen. If they do, the system is still in safe mode and sound won't work.
4. Reset the NVRAM.
5. Reset the SMC.
6. Reinstall OS X after backing up all data.
7. Make a "Genius" appointment at an Apple Store.

We have rebooted inactive the server due to rolling maintenance.
Sql is not running and sql services are not able to start. Getting the below error message while starting the services.

To resolve the problem, use these steps:
Change the startup account of both the MSSQLSERVER and SQLServerAgent to use the Local System account.

LPX only supports 64bit Audio Unit plugins. You probably need to get the latest updates for all of your plugs.

You are not authorized to start the administration workset - GP

I'm trying to launch the Administration Workset for GPs, to release objects from the "Life and Work Events" GPs from ESS, assigned GP Administrator to user and get the error:
"You are not authorized to start the administration workset"
Also tried adding virtually all GP and CAF roles to used with no luck, any ideas??

try to add a role called CAFUIADMIN and provide your user with this role. Otherwise all you need is the GP Adminstrator role.

I Paid for PDF Export and the files are not converting correctly

I purchased PDF Export to take a PDF file and convert it to a text file so I could import it into excel, when doing so I get a bunch of extra symbles plus the numbers that i'm trying to convert are not complete.

Could you try disabling the 'Recognize text' function and convert the file again?

When publishing to PDF, the File Info keywords are not appearing in adobe bridge?

When I generate a PDF from Framemaker 9, the File Info can be seen when I open the PDF and look in Properties. However, if I look for the keywords using Adobe Bridge, they are not recognized. Is there something I have to do to make them visible in Adobe Bridge?
