Pdf music files coming out fuzzy from pagemaker conversion

Hello,
We are using the new conversion to INdesign since our printer will not support pagemaker printing now with Indesign now on our computers. When I try to convert a document with PDf Music files in it from pagemaker into Indesign they come out fuzzy. When I print them in old pagemaker on the printer, they won't duplex anymore, but do come out clear. In the conversion in Indesign, they do not come out clear and crisp, but fuzzy.
What is wrong here in the conversion of these same PDF files from pagemaker to Indesign?

Were these graphics embedded? If so, go back to PM and unembed them and link them instead.

WMA files are 'window media audio' files, which is a Microsoft format. If you want to add them to your iTunes library on your Mac then you will need to convert them into a compatible format first. If you still have your windows machine then iTunes for Windows can convert them from WMA to MP3 format : https://discussions.apple.com/message/24158701#24158701
Or try a search for, for example, 'convert wma to mp3' to find programs to convert them.

I actually dont need to rename the actual files.
Its just i have a huge txt list of 100,000 music names that are listed as so..

and i need this list to reverse it self so it is listed in the list as

Im sure there is some kinda way to auto a mix of applescript/automator/terminal to do something like: all char before the "-" replace with the chars after the "-".
Please some one help me if you know how I can pull this off

I wonder if we haven't misunderstood what you were asking for. Could it be that you have not a huge file, but just a huge list of names in many small files. If that's the case, you should rather use the following script instead of the previous one.
Since this script does not rename the files, make a backup of your files before running it.

You need to move the music file into iTunes and then connect your iPhone to your Mac or PC and then syc it with iTunes and then your music will be transferred.

Music only coming out of right earphone

Just got a new ipod nano. Used to work great but recently I can only hear music out of the right earphone. Switching headphones did not help. Any suggestions.

Will changing location for Itunes Apps and Music files to different drive (from dive C: to drive E:)now effect how they work. And will Itunes be able to find them, when I do a sync?

Will changing the location of folders effect how my Itunes will run? As I am runnig out of room fast on my C drive. And have almost a 1 terrabyte of room on the drive I want it to all to go to. I was thinking of just cutting and pasting.

No, but do not simply move files around else you will have a lot of grief...
Do NOT move files then change iTunes prefs to a new location as this will not work.
Quit iTunes.
Copy your entire /Music/iTunes/ folder (and everything inside it) on your C: drive to the E: drive.
Hold Shift and launch iTunes.
Select Choose library and select the iTunes folder you copied to the E: drive.
That is all you need to do. You do not need to change any other settings.

HELLO EVERYONE! WHENEVER I SCAN SOME DOCUMENTS INTO A PDF FILE, IT COMES OUT HUGE! AROUND 25MB. I WENT TO KINKOS AND HAD THE SAME FILE SCANNED AND IT WAS AROUND 110KB.
IS THIS A PROBLEM WITH MY SCANNER? I CURRENTLY USE A DELL 962 ALL-IN-ONE.

This has nothing to do with Adobe Reader. It has to do with your scanner's settings. They are scanning to fewer colors, lower resolution and even perhaps to a different type of image. Please consult the maker of your scanning software.

How do I import music files to new computer from external hard drive containing them

Have an older computer(G5 iMac) with Tiger 10.4.11 and iTunes that crashed. Have that computer and older version of iTunes residing on an external hard drive. I want to import music to new comptuer with newer version of iTunes. External hard drive is partitioned with just iTunes section. Any one done this before?

If you want to use the old iTunes library that you have from the ext HD then just drag the iTunes folder to the new Mac.
By default the iTunes folder Is Located - HD>Users>Your Account>Music>iTunes - if the internal HD has no iTunes library then just replace the iTunes folder with the one from the ext HD.
Launch iTunes with the 'option' key down and point iTunes to the iTunes Library that you want to open. It will remember the next time.

Why is YYYYMM date in flat file coming out in Preview as YYMMYY ?

The date in the flat file is 200707 but when previewed, it comes up as 070720
I previewed a previous successful load and the data in the preview was 200706. I then copied the row and pasted it in Excel and saved as .CSV and then previewed this newly saved file. But again, Preview gave the year month as 070620
Remember that this was in 200706 in the preview and copied and pasted in the new file, but now the preview does not give200706.
The only change is that the system has recently been updated from BW to Netweaver.
In brief, this is what is happening:
200706 --> 070620
200707 --> 070720
That is the "20" in "2007" moves to the end of the month.

This problem occures because of user format and BI internal format for dates. Please use standard formulae in tranformation to change user format into BI internal format and then your problem will be resolved. Once you go to formulae in transformation you can see many standard formulae for Dates, pick one of them suitable for you and set format. It is simple to use as you can define format in user editable fields there, you need not to code there, just add formats desired.
Assign points if it resolves you problem.

Why is sound coming out only from the subwoofer?

I installed Win7 Ultimate on my HP Pavilion DV7 4180ea and now sound is only playing through the subwoofer. If I plug the headphones or my sound sistem sound is perfect but without them sound only comes out of the subwoofer. I NEED REAL HELP, please don't start with "Have you installed the sound driver" or that kind of s**t. Thank you in advance.

Please try to check this link to see if you have missed any troubleshooting step, that might help to understand or resolve the problem.
If you only installed Win 7 Ultimate, and you have the sound driver installed and sound works on the headphones and external sound system you have, i can only think about the internal speakers being disabled r not being set as the default device.
They should be fully functional. CHeck if they are disable, not sure if you have checked that already but, i dont see any other reason for them not being working.

Check the audio settings as well, in control panel, for that icon you say you have on the system tray bar, check if you have a control panel for that sound feature and see if you have any setting related to default playback device, and make sure the internal speakers are selected.

Colors coming out different from different programs with Canon Pixma IP8500

I have a problem with a Pixma IP8500. The colors come out much darker from iPhoto than they do from Canon's ImageBrowser and Photoshop.
Is this normal? How can I fix this?

Sounds like a colour management issue. Photoshop will use a different colour profile to iPhoto (I don't know what imageBrowser does?).
Try this. Open iPhoto Preferences > Advanced and disable "Add ColorSync profile". Now print your photo.

Can Automatic stacking of files coming back in from PS be disabled?

When I send a DNG file to PSCS4 with the "edit in PS" command in LR (2.3) and then finish with the new file in PS and save it as a PSD, it gets automatically put back in LR just fine. BUT I notice that it is always stacked with the original DNG file (in the open stack configuration). I would like it to be NOT stacked at all and just organized according to file name.
Can this automatic stacking be turned off? I can't seem to find the answer anywhere. Thanks in advance.

When I open up a DNG file in LR 2.3 it opens directly in PS WITHOUT going through Camera raw and has all of the adjustments I have made to it in LR, thus it would seem to me that LR is the Raw Converter that is doing the work. I never see the Camera Raw dialog box/controls, but I always see all the adjustments that I have made in LR before sending the file off to PS.
This experience seems to contradict what you have said.
Can you help me understand this further?
I appreciate that it isn't obvious, but when you choose Edit in Photoshop CS4 (Ctrl/Cmd+E) in Lr2.x the DNG file is sent directly to Photoshop and processed by Camera Raw in the background. The converted file is not saved at that point but instead exists solely in RAM until saved in Photoshop. However, when you configure Lr2.3 to use Photoshop CS4 as an additional external editor the DNG file will be processed by Lr and the converted TIFF/PSD is saved before being sent to Photoshop.
