Pdf not accessible cfpdfform

I am trying to write a Flex app to launch a PDF.
The Flex app is able to grab data from the database ok.... however when I click a button on the Flex app to invoke a CFC to invoke <cfpdffrom>... an error message indicates...
Unable to invoke CFC - the pdf file specified in the cfpdfform tag either does not exist or is not accessible by this tag.
When I change the path to the pdf, each subsequent error message shows the correct path to the pdf. Thus, the path seems to be ok.
I am able to launch the pdf ok via a .cfm
Help would be appreciated.

Hello,
I need to create a lay-out with Arabic content in Indesign CC (2014 release). After checking how to go about that via the help-section (online and PDF) I have to conlude that the help does not help me any further.
It says I need to, from the paragraph panel options, set InDesign to the world-ready paragraph composer in order to have the text direction etc. features enabled. This, however, is not the case. The panel still looks like before and I get no Arabic / hebrew features.
This is the same for the character panel, wich also does not give the shown options for Character direction as shown in the Help screenshots.
I have followed all the suggestions in the help section.
I have also tried setting the default paragraph editor to World-Ready via the preferences, and then restart the program, but still no success.
Please advise, it's urgent.

Every change of plugins is resetting preferences.
Each language has its own preferences. But you move or copy them manually but you might adjust them afterward, because everylanguage has not the same functionality. At least not on the same place.

Hi William,
It worked!
Allthough I did not understand that, from the CC panel, I should install the entire app again. Thought this would go through the preferences window, but I noticed that, when changing the App language in the preferences, the app-list in in the panel changes.
Only thing is now: all the preferences and personal workspaces are gone:-(
Adobe realy doesn't make it easy, unless you're into IT, wich i am totally and absolutely not;-)

Is some tool or Jave API's available to convert normal pdf to accessible pdf (tagged pdf) automatically without any manual intervention? Please advise

Also, Acrobat Pro includes a “Make Accessible” action wizard that will walk you through the accessibility steps that Adobe considers necessary - though not “without any manual intervention” - then run the not-very-thorough built-in Accessibility Checker. Whether this will be enough depends on just how accessible you need your document to be. You will never achieve WCAG 2.0 or ISO 14289 (PDF/UA) compliance without some (usually considerable) amount of careful, knowledgeable human inspection of the tag structure and document properties, and associated manual repair action.

Import is not accessible

I have a Sony Handycam DCR-PC109 connected to my PC with a USB cable. The PC is running Windows XP. The camcorder is set to Streaming and the video is playing on the camera's display screen. In Premiere Elements 3 I click on Capture and Import not accessible. What did I do wrong?

As Ozpeter says, if you have either a PICMCA or ExpressCard slot on your laptop, you can purchase a FireWire (IEEE-1394) card to fit that. Your local computer shop should have versions that will work. The only possible concern would be the BIOS of your computer - can it accommodate a FireWire connection? Most can, if the unit is no more than 5 years old. I would also be surprised if a newer unit did not have a FireWire connection. Note: this might be referred to as an "iLink," a "FireWire," or an "IEEE1394" conncetion. You might want to check the "manual," which is usually a PDF file on the restore disc, that should have come with your laptop, any printed manual or on the mfgr's Web site.
If you cannot find a card locally, I have had good service with www.firewiredirect.com. I've purchased a half-dozen different cards from them, and they are quick and have fair prices. Do a little homework, prior to ordering on-line, to make sure that you get the exact card you need, as there are a few different "form factors," with regards to these cards. Some will work in other connections, but many need exactly what they are designed for - check this out carefully and be sure to get the right one.
Also, if you do source locally, you might have the option for the tech folk in the store to set it up for you. Usually, it is just plug-it-in and go, but your BIOS might need to be updated, i.e. "flashed," or utilities might need to be installed. If you are not comfortable doing either, then it can be handy to have a "geek" do it for you.
One little warning: these card connections are not all that sturdy. When the card is installed, be careful when moving the laptop. I always remove the card, once the unit is shut down. Also, with ExpressCard slots, these are usually spring-loaded interconnects. Be carefuly, when plugging in the cable, that you do not push the card too far in, as it will then release and pop-out. You might not realize this, and wonder why your new card doesn't seem to work. Last, there are a couple of different FireWire connectors. Check out your camera, and your cable. You can either try to match up the connector to the FireWire card's connectors, or just buy a new cable with the appropriate connectors. Check your camera's manual for the connector needed for it, and then the FireWire card. In my cable box, I think I have at least a half-dozen of every possible combo of connectores, especially as most of my FW stuff now offers IEEE-1394b (FireWire 800). Heck, you can never have too many cables, right?

I have tried from so many forms. This is so frustrating. Thank for everyone/anyone who wants to help. So this is what happened: I had to uninstall my previous sqlserver 2012(which worked great) for some reason, and I uninstalled everything from that download.
Then I installed the trial edition of sql server 2012 (64 Bit) and It wouldn't connect to the database. (Error mentioned above.) My local DB is COWBOYS. (COWBOYS is also my computer name.) After this, I have tried downloading sqlexpress and sqlserver 64bit
many times and cannot connect to my local DB.
How do I connect to my Local DB?
Also, I think this might help: (When I run sqlserve.exe, which I was able to find in C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\LocalDB\Binn, I get an error: Your SQL server installation is either corrupt or has been tampered with(Error getting
instance ID from name). Please uninstall then re-run setup to correct this problem.
I would happily re install it, if it wasn't my 20th time.
I don't have any remote connections, I don't use username/password, only window authentication. I work mostly on visual studio, but without able to store /retrieve data, I don't know how to survive.
May be the solution is very simple, but I am too frustrated.

It sounds like there are a couple things going on here. First check if you have a successful install of SQL Server, then we'll figure out the connection issues.
Can you launch SQL Server Configuration Manager and check for SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER) if default instance or SQL Server (other name) if you've configured your instance as a named instance. Once you find this, make sure the service is started.
If not started, try to start it and see if it throws an error. If you get an error, post the error message your hitting. If the service starts, you can then launch SSMS and try to connect. If you have a default instance, you can use the machine
name in the connection dialog. Ex: "COWBOYS" where Cowboys is the machine name. However, if you named the SQL Server instance during install, you'll need to connect using the machine\instance format. Ex: COWBOYS\Romo (where Romo
is the instance name you set during install).
You can also look at the summary.txt file in the SQL Server setup error logs to see what happened on the most recent install. Past install history is archived in the log folder if you need to dig those up to help troubleshoot, but the most
recent one may help get to the bottom of it if there is an issue with setup detecting a prior instance that needs to be repaired.

Try resetting the SMC and PRAM first, if that doesn't help try a cleaning disc.....and then buy an inexpensive external burner. Slimline super drive failures are all too common.
To reset the SMC
Shut down the computer.
Unplug the computer's power cord.
Wait fifteen seconds.
Attach the computer's power cord.
Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
Release the keys.

Database table 'e' is not accessible

like many others in the web I'm having problems deploying CMP Beans on BEA. I'm using Weblogic 8.1 and
get the following error message:
"[EJB:011076]Unable to deploy the EJB 'B' because the database table 'b' is not accessible. Please ensure that this table exists and is accessible."
After a lot of research I understand the problem now. Weblogic is checking the cmp-fields at deployment time using something like "SELECT xx1, xx2, xxx3 FROM ttt1 WHERE 1 = 0". Some databases have no problem with such a select. My Solid database unfortunately does a full table scan on it. Having only some rows in the table b there is no problem at all, but I have more than 500.000 entries. :-(
My question: Is there a workaround? Can I somewhere specify the SQL - command for checking mapped cmp-fields? Or can I disable the check somehow?
I think it is a very annoying problem, many users out there have.

I think it is a very annoying problem, many users out there have.Hi. All commercial quality DBMSes I know, are smart enough to evaluate constant search
criteria, and not to access all the rows if it's a-priori known that no rows will
qualify. I would ask 'Solid' for a fix.
However, you can generate our EJBs with the option of retaining the generated
JDBC code, which you could alter and recompile for your use. You might be able to
substitute some DatabaseMetaData call to getTableColumns() to get the same info...

The Secure Store Service application Secure Store Service Proxy is not accessible

I am working on setting up a new SharePoint 2013 Farm for our external web site which is currently running on 2010 SharePoint. Because this is an External Website for our organization we have an internally available Publishing Site and there is an Web App
Extension to provide Anon Access to users using the www address. Currently I am doing everything on a single server for testing with HOSTS entries to loop back so I can test with real host headers and not impact the 2010 prod environment. We will be setting
up 2 more WFEs with a NLB before moving this into prod but it isn't there yet. We brought the Site Collection Databases over but are still running in 2010 mode for now.
I migrated a copy of the Secure Store Database over from 2010 and had it put on the 2013 Farm's Database Server. Set up Secure Store and the Secure Store Proxy. I went into the Secure Store Proxy in CA and refreshed the Key with the proper Pass Phrase. After
doing that I could see the Target Application IDs listed. Everything was looking good so I went off to test. If I am on the publishing site I can go to a page that has the solution on it and it operates as expected. It does a query to a non SharePoint database
and returns information filtered based on the search parameters. The only odd thing I see is if I click on the "Site Actions" I get a message "An error has occurred with the data fetch. Please refresh page and retry." Need to look into
that more but it only happens on pages that have these solutions. Maybe a clue. If I go to the Anonymous Access page (www......) and try and use the solution, it immediately (way too quick to appear like it is doing anything) comes back with "The security
token request cannot be completed."
If I dig through the usage logs I am finding the following.

Initially I was fighting a firewall issue because it wasn't working (different errors) on both sides. Had Network Engineers open firewall ports needed and now it works on the publishing side. Still the same error on the Anon side. I suspect I have missed
something when it comes to configuring the Secure Store to allow access to anonymous connections.
Let me know if you need any more information but that should paint a pretty good picture as to how things are set up.

I recommend to verify the things below:
Did this issue occur with all the pages in the anonymous side?
Check if the Claims to Windows Token Service is started.
Change the <identity impersonate="true" /> in the web.config to see if the issue still occurs.

I have an access to the database Sharepoint_Config from current domain user and from other 2 users. All users have db_owner rights to the Sharepoint_Config database. But

Please help me. I don't understand why the script is launched from the sharepoint management shell but doesn't work from the cmd file.

I have an answer for my problem: for solving a problem I've made several steps:
1. Run farm installation under AD admin credentials - runas /user:Domain1\DomainAdmin1 "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\14\BIN\psconfigui.exe".
This user has been added as farm administrator in the wizard.
This user has been added as DBO in the SQL Server. (This is the main difference with my previous attempts)
2. Execute a command Add-SPShellAdmin Domain1\UserAccount1 in
the Management Shell of Sharepoint.
3. Run SQL server and add Sharepoint_Shell_Access to the Domain1\UserAccount1
(my main account) in the Config database
4. Run CMD file only from Start->Run menu.
runas /user:Domain1\UserAccount1 "C:\1.cmd".
Do not use Total Commander command prompt or file list for executing *.cmd of *.bat files without root administrator account.

The selected remote nodes 'node3' are not accessible

Hello,
I removed node3 from 2 node RAC Cluster.
After this I have re-add this node to my RAC. I added without any problem to CRS but I have a problem with script addNode.sh (/u01/app/oracle/product/crs/oui/bin).
I have to separate homes for ORACLE_HOME and ASM_HOME, so I need to run this script twice for each ORACLE_HOME.
I run addNode.sh from one of the cluster nodes (node1), if I run:
export ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/oracle/product/11.1.0/asm
cd $ORACLE_HOME/oui/bin
./addNode.sh -silent CLUSTER_NEW_NODES={node3} CLUSTER_NEW_PRIVATE_NODE_NAMES={node3-priv} CLUSTER_NEW_VIRTUAL_HOSTNAMES={node3-vip}
I got the following error:
Performing tests to see whether nodes node2,node3 are available
............................................................SEVERE:The selected remote nodes 'node3' are not accessible.
... 100% Done.
I reviewed logs located in /u01/app/oraInventory/logs I found
Status of node 'node3':
null
The virtual host name 'node3-vip' for node 'node3' is already in use.
I checked crs_stat from $ORA_CRS_HOME, but all applications (ons, gsd, vip) and targets are ONLINE. I tried to run vipca -nodelist node1,node2,node3 and updated a configuration. I checked /etc/hosts, connection via SSH between all hosts belonging to RAC: node1, node1-vip, node1-priv etc. Everything looks like fine, so I have no idea what caused this problem.
Software which I used:
Linux: UNL 5.4 x86_64
11g Release 11.1.0.7.0 - 64bit, Oracle Clusterware

My Macbook Air does not show up on my network to any of my other computers, Other computers on my network appear and disappear, some shared folders are not accessible

My Macbook Air with Lion does not show up on my network to any of my other computers (PC's) , even though it is connected to my wifi and does access the Internet. In addition, my other computers sometimes show up in Finder and sometimes they're not there. Sometimes they do show in Finder and when I click on them, I get "Connection Failed", other times, they connect. Also some shared folders on those other computers, which are PC's are not accessible, even though fully shared. My network is Apple Airport Extreme and works perfectly otherwise, including all PC's being able to see each other. Help would be much appreciated

I got the same problem. I want to access my shared folder on my home windows7 from my MBA. Tried many suggestions on the web but all to no avail. I thought that should be very trivial. Maybe a Lion bug?

Site not accessible from the Load balanced web front end server - sharepoint 2010

I have a production environment with 2 WFE's(sp-wfe1 & sp-wfe2), 2 APP's and 2 SQL clustered VM's.
2 WFE's are load balanced using hardware load balancer.
An A-Record(PORTAL) is created in DNS for the virtual IP of the load balancer which points to the 2 WFE's.
A web application is created on the WFE's on port 80.
alternative access mapping is configured and the load balanced record "http://PORTAL" is used under the default zone.
Under IIS I have edited the bindings for the sharepoint site at port 80 and added the HOSTNAME as PORTAL.
Result: The site is accessible from outside the server and works fine.
ISSUE: The site is not accessible within the WFE's(sp-wfe1 & sp-wfe2).
When I browse the site from the WFE's server it ask for the credentials and when I enter the credentials and click OK it ask the credentials again and again and in the end displays a blank page.
Kindly help me in this issue because I am clueless and couldn't find anything helpful on the internet.

Some PDFs not working in Preview. Mac created PDFS work but windows created PDFS dont

Some PDFs not working in Preview. I installed adobe reader and then deleted it because the software was aweful and PDFs have been haveing issues ever since. I can open up PDFs created on my Mac in preview just fine...
But when I try and open a PDF created on a windows computer it says:

I am not sure why where the PDF was created would make a difference but couldnt help but notice that was the difference between the PDF files that work and the ones that give that message. I can view the PDFs on a windows computer just fine and never had issues untill adobe, it seems to have messed up PDFs on my Mac and I am so frustrated with them. I have searched my computer for any remaining adobe files, deleted them and restarted my computer but I am still getting this message.

Uninstall Adobe Reader's plug-in.
Remove the following two files from /Library/Internet Plug-Ins/:
AdobePDFViewer.plugin
AdobePDFViewerNPAPI.plugin
Open Safari Preferences > Extensions. Do you see AdobePDFViewer? If yes. disable.
Log out/in and test.
Another option is to download and install this plugin. Schubert|it PDF Browser Plugin . PDF Browser Plugin 2 is free for not-for-profit activities if used at home or at educational institutions.

Apple has really crappy NTFS read-only that does not always work. And it is probably a licensing issue.
Paragon Software is constantly being updated and supported with their NTFS for Mac OS X - they also have an HFS+ driver for Windows that works - Apple's HFS+ read-only driver for Boot Camp / Windows does not.
I keep seeing problems and lack of support for MacFUSE, that could change.
