PDF Pack Tagging Files

OK, Two questions: First is the Cloud Acrobat "PDF Pack" something to be asked about in this forum, or should it go under Acrobat? I'm guessing here, because Cloud, but not certain.
Secondly, using that product (which I got to from here: Reliably Create PDFs, Convert PDFs, & Merge PDFs Online | Adobe PDF Pack ) Is there an ability to add tags in a PDF's Metadata, or just the basic combining files functionality?

The PDF file I just got from my PDF Pack subscription is not right -- why?

I use Word on the Mac. When I save my document as PDF I get a file bloated file almost 1 Gig long. I subscribed to PDF Pack in the hope of getting a cleaner, shorter file. And it is -- 2.1MB -- ta-dah? NO!! It does not have the formatting that I want, and that my MAC PDF file has when viewed with Adobe Reader. I have carefully formatted my file to get clean ragged margins and good text blocks. But the file I just got from the subscription service is 5 pages longer (which means my Index is wrong), many pages are laid out differently, and ligatures are not used(!). I don't know what other details are wrong, but what I got is unusable. Money down the drain.
Perhaps a forum member has a suggestion.

You can visit the Adobe Support "portal" page and find the click through to open a trouble ticket. To get the ball rolling you'll need to provide your credit card information. Rest assured you will get expert support at a rate that reflects it.
Or, here or at Acrobatusers.com you can ask a question where knowledgeable / experienced Acrobat users can provide suggestions or perhaps an answer.
RE: Your question. You are creating a PDF with the online service's heuristics. While adequate for the routinely used "business" cases of documents anything somewhat "custom" can be expected to have an output in the PDF that is not, perhaps, spot on. As to an Index -- that's just not going to survive what amounts to a "file conversion".

Well, you don't. Editing a PDF is a difficult and fraught business even with the most expensive software.
But PDF Pack lets you export to Word; then often you can edit in Word. Now you can make a new PDF. It might look like the original, or it might not. If small changes matter you might be out of luck. ON NO ACCOUNT USE THIS FOR GOVERNMENT FORMS.

I just bought adobe pdf pack and now I cant open any of my jpeg pictures they show as adobe files

wtf i just bought adobe pdf pack and now cant open any of my pictures...i get a pop up in adobe that teh file is corrupted...how do i get rid of this program and get my jpegs back t jpegs?

In general below is the way to change the default program Windows to open JPEG files or other file type:
1. From "Start" > "Default Programs"
2. Select "Associate file type or protocol with a program"
3. Select "jpeg' from Name column
You can change the setting to other program by clicking "Change Program" button at top right corner.

It seems you are trying to access the service via Adobe Reader. Make sure you are signed in with your Adobe ID. Is Reader updated to the latest patch v 11.0.09?
It might be possible that a firewall or antivirus might be breaking the connectivity from Reader to the server.
Try accessing the service from the browser: https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf and check if that works for you.

You can't edit a file with PDF Pack, but you should be able to convert it to a Word document, and if you are really lucky edit THAT and make a new PDF. Don't expect too much though!

Adobe PDF Pack - Can I create a Table of Contents in combined PDF files I am creating?

Can I create in Adobe PDF Pack a table of contents for PDF files I am combining?
If the answer is YES do I name each of the PDF documents name the name I want the page to be named in the Table of Contents?

Hi Michael,
When you combine files into a single PDF, each file you include will have a bookmark in the Bookmarks panel in Acrobat/Reader. So, I suppose you could treat that as a Table of Contents. (It doesn't, however, create a separate TOC and append it to the file.) The bookmark names reflect the filename of each file you combined.

Have purchased PDF pack as an upgrade, but not happy with what it does as doesn't seem to be any better than what I had before
When you merge documents there doesn't appear to be any tool to rearrange the order or to delete any pages you don't want, which leaves it very limited
Perhaps I'm missing something, but without this feature it's no better than what I had before
Can anyone either help or perhaps someone from Adobe can contact me to discuss a refund

I'm sorry that PDF Pack isn't meeting your needs. It's true that to alter PDF pages in any way, you need Acrobat. PDF Pack lets you convert files to and from PDF and combine files to PDF, but not edit PDFs.

You can create it in Word or excel and then you can Convert it into .pdf Format

Adobe PDF Pack does not allow you to edit a PDF file. For that, you would need Acrobat. You're welcome to try Acrobat for free for 30 days: see http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.

As per my knowledge, PDF Pack supports conversion from .tiff format to PDF Format -Different File formats that Adobe PDF Pack supports.
