PDF Portfolio: I am not allowed to reduce its size nor to optimize it. Urgent help!
I have the trial version of Adobe Acrobat XI.
I have created a portfolio.
I need to reduce the size of this portfolio, but when I try I keep getting a message that says that I don't have "enought permissions to do this".
What do I have to do to be able to reduce the size of this document.
It's quite urgent.
I hope to hear from somebody soon.

You cannot reduce the size of the pdf portfolio once it's created.
You need to reduce the size of the individual files before combining them into portfolio.

When I click on "save" the resulting dialogue box fills the entire screen. I'm unable to reduce its size by using the mouse to pull in the borders of the dialogue box, and I can't find any other way to reduce it. This problem appeared spontaneously. It didn't start immediately after installing a new plug-in or a new Firefox release -- it just happened one day. I've used Firefox for years and never had this very inconvenient problem before.
Is it the dialog that appears for Save Page As? Like other windows, it could be maximized/restored by double-clicking the title bar. Does that make any difference?
If not, it might be necessary to rename or delete the localstore.rdf file, which stores window positions and related settings... -

The adobe application manager isn't for opening photoshop after it's installed on your system.
The application manager is for updates and downloading/installing the programs to your computer.
Have you installed photoshop and are trying to run the photoshop program/application?

I have built a form and would like to make the users aware that some fields are compulsory. With the validation I only see American options for postcode or telephone. When I create my own example it is not accepted (disappears). Actions can't be added as it states that it will not work with HTML, but I have not set that in.
Users must be able to download form from site or receive it in e-mail, fill it in and print it (they need to sign it, so online submission is not practical)
I use Windows 7 - Adobe LiveCycle 2010
The form is set for The Netherlands

I need to download my forms as PDF. It says i need to update to a paid account. We have a paid account but under a different user name so i was going to upgrade my account. It takes me to the page with the message about Form Central ending. We know this but are using Form Central until we find another product. I must download these forms before changing systems AND need to send them to the sponsors.

I checked your account, and all is well there. Are you trying to log in via the web interface, or via Adobe Reader? If you're using Reader, please choose Help > Check for Updates and make sure that you have the most current version installed. If you're using the web interface, please clear the browser cache and then log in to https://cloud.acrobat.com/export. (You may also want to try a different web browser—see System requirements | Acrobat.com for a list of supported growers).

Downloaded pdf application form will not allow save action. What is the problem?
I have downloaded a funding application form from Harcourts Foundation. They require me to fill it in save, and send it back to them. However when I try to save it states that you cannot save data typed into this form. If I try to "save as" it just states Adobe can only save a blank copy of this form.
This problem started when I downloaded the latest security update from Adobe today. I would appreciate some help. Thank you.What is your operating system? Reader version?

New Photos update will not allow me to insert pictures in to iDVD? Please help
When I open iDVD and look for photos it does not show anything even though I have photos in the new Photos program as well as the old version of iPhoto? Please help!!! Sorry - been having the same problem. Please may I ask to clarify ... In order to have the new "photos" app photos appear in my iDVD project, I have to export those photos (thousands of photos) to ANOTHER folder on my hard drive??? Is there not a way to tell iDVD to "see" / "recognize" / "point to" the app photos? That doesn't seem best as I will be duplicating thousands of photos and videos. There has got to be a away for one program to "see" the other.
Second - the response about saving an iDVD project as "save as disk image" I'm not sure I'm doing correctly. I've done it several times and all I get is an icon on my desk top that looks like an external HD. When I click on it, a folder opens w/ "AUDIO_TS" and "VIDEO_TS". What am I to do then? How do I get it to "launch in DVD"? How do I burn to a disk w/ disk utility?
I started this process because after creating a project and burning it to disk, the voice on my video was not in sync w/ the video. It worked fine IN iDVD. Burn it to a disk and when played on my DVD player, totally out of sync and the photos are fuzzy. It plays fine on my laptop, but not on my dvd player. So I kept seeing this solution and I am lost. I thought I was doing it correctly - took a good 4 and half hours to create the "save as disk image", but once done, all I seem to get is a folder w/ 2 additional folders. Not sure what to do next.

recently, when printing pdf files, the first page prints out as 1/10 or 1/20th original size while rest of document prints correctly.
I have no idea how this happened or why and I have no idea how to fix. I cannot get the first page of any pdf doocument to
print correctly and thus, I am virtually unable to print pdf files.Sometimes if a .pdf is smaller than actual 8 1/2 x 11 or bigger, you'll either get way too much of the image and it's cut off, or the image is too small. You should also try to do this in the print driver window: Properties -> Advanced -> Image Options -> Disable "PostScript pass-through"

It's really a struggle because i really want this to work and i looked everywhere and nothing is working.
Verizon is not doing that it is the mail that is doing that.
Check your device settings for email and read the owners manual as to how to set up mail to download. How you want it, leave on server, etc.

When I plug it to the charger, it really gets hot and will not come back on. I have tried everything that I can think of.
A reset may help. Tap and hold the Home button and the On/Off buttons for approximately 10-15 seconds, until the Apple logo reappears. When the logo appears, release both buttons.
