PDF presentation printing in handout form, 4-6 slides per page.

I have a 40 page PDF that was created in PPT. I need to print it in handout form, 4-6 per page. How do I do that?

It is easier to go back to the PPT and create handouts from there by printing to the Adobe PDF printer. You can print the current PDF to a new PDF with the selection of multi-up in the printer properties.

  • SQL Report - PDF Report Printing. How to show one row per page?

    Hello
I have successfully created a simple SQL Report.
Than I enabled Report Printing to PDF (default Report Layout).
Export to PDF is working good by default.
Now I want to see one report row per one PDF page. Is it possible?
How I can change the amount of rows per PDF page using default report layout?
I tried to create a User Layout with MSWord Plugin. it's quite suitable for data forms.
But I still did not find a way around for my question.

I would create an User Layout (.rtf) with MSWord. Load your XML data and use the table wizzard to put the fields in your document.
Put this code after your last field and before the 'E' (= <?end for-each?> tag):
    <?split-by-page-break:?>

  • Is there a way to print presenter notes with multiple slides per page?

I know you used to be able to do this with earlier versions by selecting options in the print dialog box, but I'm now using Keynote 6.1 on Mavericks, and I can only figure out how to do one or the other, not both. There will probably be over 100 students printing these out, so I'd really, really like to save paper by putting multiple slides on a page, but I want them to have both the slide and the notes.
    Thanks in advance!

Print Handouts and select presenter notes option, the maximum is 5 slides per page

  • Keynote '09 Handouts - Problem printing 6 slides per page

With Keynote '09, I'd like to print handouts of 6 slides per page, where the slides are of reasonable size, take up most of the space on the page, and are not oriented in a single vertical column. I used to be able to accomplish this with earlier versions of Keynote, but can't figure it out in Keynote '09. Anyone know the secret? Seems like a major flaw in the software.

In the Print dialog box, tell Keynote to print Individual Slides. Then go to Layout and tell the printer to print 6 slides per page and select the layout option that you would like.

  • Printing multiple slides per page for pdf

Hey guys. I just downloaded 10.10.1 and I'm unable to print multiple slides per page for my pdf files. Usually before I print, I can choose an option if I want to have 4 or 6 slides per page printed (as this helps to save paper and is how I have my notes for school). But now, it says "copies per page" instead of "slides per page". So the print preview shows the same 1 slide printed 6 times on each paper, instead of 6 different slides on 1 paper (which what is what I was able to do before I downloaded Yosemite).
Does anyone know how to print multiple slides per page for pdf files???

Did you try the Layout panel? Page per sheet?

  • Create a PDF with 6 slides per page from a ppt ALL on the iPad

Is there any way to create a PDF file with six slides per page from a PowerPoint presentation using only an iPad (and apps)?
I know how to do this on a Mac (i.e. Print > 6 per page> save as PDF) but is there a way I can do this all on the iPad?
Basically i want a way to output a ppt or keynote document with 6 slides per page using only the iPad. I have both Keynote and PowerPoint for iOS on my iPad.
any help would be much appreciated!!
p.s. I'm using an iPad 2 running iOS 7.1.2 ( but will be updating to iOS 8 in the next few days when it comes out). Jailbreaking is not an option!!

  • Since downloading the 2013 Keynote upgrade, the slide image size on handouts with 3 slides per page option is very small. Is there a way to make the slide size larger while still keeping 3 slides per page   lines?

With the new Keynote upgrade (version 6.1), the slide image size on handouts is very small, which makes it difficult to read slide content when compiling lecture notes for students. Is there a way to make the slide size larger while still keeping to a format of 3 slides per page with lines?

A number of posts have reported the same issue, two workarounds:
    1
check the paper handling options or equivalent in your print dialogue box and set to scale to fit

in the Keynote option, in the dropdown menu in the Print section, select Individual Slides
then choose Layout, and set the number of pages, when printed you will have multiple pages on a single sheet.

  • Printing 6 slides per page in Portrait orientation?!

    Hello,
I have iWork '08. In the past I always printed 6 keynote slides per page, with the page oriented in portrait orientation. However, now it refuses to do that. Even when I have changed the orientation to portrait in the page setup (under 'File'), it refuses to use that orientation when I print. In the print settings I use individual slides, and then in layout I tell it to print 6 slides on a page. At 1, 4, 9 and 16 slides per page, it does use portrait orientation. At 2 and 6 slides per page it suddenly uses landscape orientation. I have checked and checked again, but the page orientation cannot be changed within the print menu. Only in the page setup under file, which doesn't help at all.
Why does it do this and how do I get rid of it?! I want to print 6 slides on a portrait oriented page!
    Thank you.

Hi Azoolkool, I figured it out, so here goes: Under Keynote open your file, make sure your View is set up as Navigator view; this way you can see the mini-sidebar on your left side. On the individual slides highlight the slides you want printed by holding down the shift button and click on for example 7-12.
Now click on File>Print, go to pages and enter in section From: 7 to: 12, Right under this area u should see Keynote drop down bar and on the bottom left area it states: PRINT with some options there, just check off "Individual Slides". To the right of the print section it should state OPTIONS; to keep your slides in color remove the check on "Don't print slide background or object fill". Do check "Add borders around slide" and "Use page Margin".
Under the FROM and TO page area where you put 7 and 12 in - there is a drop down bar that defaults to Keynote, click on this and go to PAGE ATTRIBUTES to change your page orientation to portrait or landscape. Once done proceed to next step and click on PDF on the lower left hand side and enter into "OPEN PDF IN PREVIEW". It should default to the 7th page as full screen along with the sidebar appearing.
Now click on File in the preview menu bar and then PRINT - Now uncheck the AUTO RATE and now check the "SCALE TO FIT" - "FILL ENTIRE PAPER". Then below that where it says images per page , change it from 1 to 6 and notice the print preview with six slides on one page. Now hit PRINT on the lower right hand side...
Hope this helps, I had to learn the hard way today "Trial and Error" as the manual does not state this clearly. Also I'm sure there is a better way but no one has responded yet. Let me know if it works.

  • How to save a pdf with multiple slides per page

I have multiple pdf files that I would like to combine but for some of those files, there were originally from powerpoint. For those files, I would like to change the pdf so that there are multiple slides per page. I don't have a copy of the original powerpoints. I am trying to find an easy way to do this because I have at least a hundred pdfs to do. Thank you!

You could print a PDF to the Adobe PDF printer, and select multiple Pages per Sheet on the Layout tab of the printer Properties dialog. Printing a PDF to PDF is generally frowned upon, but once it a while it comes in handy. It could have some unwelcome side effects though like wiping out your carefully crafted accessibility tags, bookmarks, and some document properties.

  • Printing 6 slides per page

For my science class we have to print out lecture notes, and my teacher says to print 6 slides per page, and this time it has to be in color. My personal printer is the only one that prints color, the family computer doesn't even have PowerPoint anyway, but that prints black and white. I have Keynote, and when i try to print 6 per page, it prints one whole column of 6 and moves to the next page.

I want them all spread out like Word does. Can anybody please help?

Is it possible to have Keynote print 6 slides per page the way PowerPoint for Windows does (3 slides in each of two columns on the page), rather than 6 slides vertically along the left side of the page?

sure thing u can do this do a cmd+p and then choose the drop down menu of keynotes and say print individual slides and then choose drop down menu of layout and say pages per sheet as six and there u have it printing isx slides just like in a ppt on a single page covering the entire page i cant imagine the apple guys on the phone not knowing this.

  • Printing multiple zoomed slides per page

I'm having trouble configuring Adobe Reader's print settings. I want to print 2 slides per page at 130% zoom for each. I can currently print a page zoomed in at 130% and print 2 slides per page, but I can't do both at the same time.

Okay, I just struggled for a good 45 minutes until I finally figured it out. Here it is, step by step.
-Go to print and hit the little box with the arrow facing up to display the additional screen
-While in the "keynote" section on the drop-down box, select "Individual Slides"
-Click on the "layout" and select how many "pages per sheet" you would like (I believe both 6 and 9 are an option, and I think you'd want the first option
-Go back to the "keynote" section and select that would want all the slides printed, and you should be good to go! I just did it exactly how I described it and I also have iWork '09
    Hope I helped!
I actually just thought of something. If you're doing what I described above and it's still not working, when you're on the keynote part and under the printer name it says "pages: all or from _ to _", trying putting in from slides 1 to (however many you have) and try it that way.

  • Printing n Keynote slides per page.

    Hey all,
We regularly have to print out presentations but have previously exported the images to photoshop and printed six on a sheet using Contact Sheet.
I've just found out we can do something similar in Keynote '08 but it only prints down one side, wasting a lot of paper. is there a way of using the whole sheet of paper ie:
    1 2
    3 4
    5 6
    Many thanks.

  • Generating Grayscale PDF Through Printing Option?

I have a document with 100 color slides that I'd like to retain as a grayscale handout (i.e. a PDF file with 4 slides per page). Through the 'Print' option and beneath the 'Keynote' drop-down menu, for 'Handout', I've selected 4-slides per page. But I can't find a way to make the document grayscale. I see a checkbox for 'Grayscale Printing' beneath the 'Quality & Media' menu, but the document still appears in color when I save it as a PDF and open it in Preview. I've also selected 'Color Sync' beneath the 'Color Matching' menu and found options for black/white and generic gray profiles, but these don't seem to affect the document.
Do I have to add a printer or change my preferences? I remember this working with the last version of Keynote. What has changed?

Set your print options as you want them and then in the PDF drop down menu, select Open PDF in Preview. Then go to Save As and in the Quartz Filter drop down menu, select Gray Tone. Then save it.
