PDF Problelm - horizontal Line and Chart

I have in some Repeating Frames horizontal Line. When I create a PDF-File then the Line have a very, very small gap inbetween. Does somebody have any idea how I can join two lines ? When I print the same report in RDF then line are together, no gap, no problem.
When I have a pie chart with expl. 16 categories then the PDF create and show only two colours. Where can I configure or protect that there are 16 different colors ? Also here, the RDF has no problem at all.

I have in some Repeating Frames horizontal Line. When I create a PDF-File then the Line have a very,
very small gap inbetween.
Does somebody have any idea how I can join two lines ? If you want to have a vertical line that stretches across instances of a repeating frame then you can use the: "Line Stretch with Frame" propert on the vertical line. To do this:
- create a new frame "M_StretchFrame" that surrounds your repeating frame
- make sure the vertical elasticity for the new frame is "variable"
- create a vertical line "B_StretchLine" and place it wherever you want (it doesn't need to be within the frame)
- bring up the property palette for "B_StretchLine"
- set the "Line Stretch with Frame" property to the new frame "M_StretchFrame"
When the report runs, the line will stretch the same amount as the frame and hence cross over all instances of the repeating frame.
If you want to stick with only the repeating frame, you can still set the "Line Stretch with Frame" property against the line to the repeating frame. You can then resize the line so that it extends beyond the end of the repeating frame.

  • What is the white horizontal line and red vertical line on my brand new ipad mini?

    Bought a brand new ipad mini 2 for my sons Christmas, took it out the box and it was during the set up process, ie entering his iTunes and icloud account, a white horizontal line and a red vertical line appeared on the screen and is there all the time now.  Have tried switching off and on and resetting, but it is still there.  Any ideas??

    Hi Tolmivooz,
    So the lines didn't appear until you were into the setup?
    Does the orientation of the lines change when you rotate the screen?
    Thanks for trying the restart and reset. Please see if a restore helps.

  • My iphone 4s screen turned freaked out before my eyes, changing all different colours, now it is blue and black along the right side with horizontal lines, and is flickering. I DIDN'T DROP IT.

    I was just sitting on the couch scrolling through facebook, I closed out of that and went to open safari, when it spazzed out, for a few mintutes it looked like LSD vision, it was all different colours and flickering the whole time. I turned it off and on again, and plugged it into my computer and now the right side is nearly completely blue, and bleeds to the left side with horizontal lines, and it is still flickering. I just finished paying the **** thing off. I thought I'd get another year out of it. I have taken exemplary care of it and it hasn't left the case since the day I bought it. I haven't dropped it, there was no warning for the screen to start doing this. So my question is, is there an easy fix (I am about to restore and update it, and I already played around with the screen brightness), and if not, am I going to have to pay for the screen to be replaced, because I don't have that kind money.

    Probably sounded funnier in your head.

    Hi John,
    I would take your machine into a Apple service center. Its highly likely a hardware issue. The most likely issue being the display has failed. If there is no external damage to the machines display they will replace the whole display under warranty for you.

  • The display on my 4 year old iMac has horizontal lines and gradations of gray. Is my machine on its way out? Can I fix the screen?

    My four year old iMac has developed horizontal lines and gradations of gray over the last month. Is my machine on its way out? Is there anyway to fix the display?

    If you live near an Apple Store, make a Genius Bar appointment to have the computer tested. Supposedly there is no charge for testing.

  • PDF action horizontal line

    Hi,
        How to reduce horizontal line length in PDF action,in BLS
    Regards,
         Senthil.

    Hi,
    You can not reduce the horizontal line length in PDF action.
    It would be possible if you create your report as an HTML page.In HTML report you can play based on your requirement.
    You can use BLS to write to the file and/or append to a string that builds up your HTML content. You can easily create callable "sub transactions" that take an xMII recordset and convert it to an HTML table.After execute the transaction your Report will be saved in HTML format.
    Hope this will help you.
    Thanks,
    Manisha

  • When I turn on messages, I can't see my messages.  All I can see is a screen with horizontal lines and a text list of addresses.  How can I get the regular message screen back?

    When I turn on Messages, I can't see my messages.  All I can see is a screen with horizontal lines.  How can I get the regular Messages screen back?

    The same is happening for me. Today I decided to reboot my PC because it was acting up a bit, go figure, and then for some reason at the same time the PC was restarting my macbook froze. I had to do a reboot with the restart button but then all that came up was a gray background and in the middle of the screen was a darker gray folder with a white question mark in the middle of it, blinking. I can't imagine why the restart would've affected my macbook. After finding information on how to fix this, I tried all of the steps that were given about using the mac OS X disk to use the first aid utility to fix it. When using the Disk Utility option whenever I select my hardrive and am in the First Aid tab, the only button I can use is the Verify Disk Permissions. The other three buttons, and namely the most important Repair Disk button, is/are not selectable (grayed out). I then tried resetting the PRAM the way they also said with the command + option + P + R and waited for the second startup sound. After that I gave the Disk Utility a second try, but still nothing. And now if I try to just reinstall the OS completely I can't even select a destination volume on the third step (Select Destination). Apparently this means i'm SOL.

  • 24-inch IMac Horizontal lines and Smudges

    When I do a restart and the screen shows up with the apple and
    the gear turning there is now a horizontal line all the way across
    the screen as well as displayed smudges on the right side.
    My Apple Care expires next month and wonder if there is a fix
    for this problem

    Stay tuned for the happy ending next week. Until then I am running with
    the SMCFan pumped up to compensate for the bad HD fan.
    The new fan and display showed up on Tuesday and dropped off the iMac at the Apple
    Store late in the afternoon. They were slammed with people and all kinds of drop off
    repairs. The good news is the 5 to 7 day repair time turned out to be 2. I had the iMac
    back Thursday AM (when the store opened)
    The new display looks great. Sort like getting new glasses.

    Problem solved and I can check this topic as Answered.

  • LJ 1300 printing horizontal lines and "echoes" every 1.5 - 2 "

    Hi there,
    We have an LJ 1300 (it's older, but **bleep** solid..).
    It's started printing horizontal lines, almost line a dirty roller, or cartridge. We also get "echoes". So if you print a windows test page, you get the well printed "Windows Test page" at the top, and then a few inches below, a pale/faded copy of the same text.
    I tried a different cartridge (IT guy at work even let me keep it..HA).  The lines stopped for a few weeks and then started again.
    I carefully undid all the screws on the outter casing (having unplugged it), so as to expose as much of the rollers as possible, and blew (while outside), compressed air on as many of the rollers and anything in the paper path as possible.
    I also tried the HP LJ toolbox utilities, trying to printer cleaning..I did it 3 times..each time the paper came out white (yes the notes say to do it with a transparency, ..I don't have one on hand).
    Any idea what the issue is? Another dead printer cartridge???
    Am I better to scrap it and buy another workhorse (P2035?)?
    Thanks

    Hi -
    For the Lines, how far apart are they (in millimeters)?
    For the echoes, how far apart are they (in millimeters)?
    Also, are you using Genuine HP toner cartridges?
    And what type of paper are you using?
    Sorry for all the questions, I'll try to help if I can

  • Exporting to PDF from rpt file and charts within not exported properly

    I am having issues when export .rpt file to pdf report using crystal report java. When exporting from Crystal Report, it displays the charts and boarders properly but when exporting using Java application the back ground colors and boarders disappears or fades. It makes the report look unprofessional. I am using version 2.0.
    Looking at this release note  at  the this link (http://www.businessobjects.com/products/dev_zone/eclipse/cr4e-updates-readme.pdf )  I see a reference to "JRC SDK RTF exporting is not consistent with CR RTF exporting" has been fixed in Release Update 8. I tried the latest release but it seems it has release update 4 only. So, my question is where do I get Release update 8? I am hoping that will fix my issue or if anybody has any suggestions that will help me resolve it. If you can reply at your earliest, I would really appreciate it.
    Thanks for your help in advance.

    Here is snippet of code how I am exporting rpt file to pdf file. I didn't include every code here but I am hoping this will give you the idea. Please let me know if you need more info.
    public byte[] runReport(RPTParameters para) throws SQLException {

         reportClientDocument.setReportAppServer(ReportClientDocument.inprocConnectionString);
         reportClientDocument.open(ReportDataConstants.CPS_RPT_FILE, OpenReportOptions._openAsReadOnly);
         ExportOptions exportOptions = new ExportOptions();
         PDFExportFormatOptions pdfOptions = new PDFExportFormatOptions();
         exportOptions.setExportFormatType(ReportExportFormat.PDF);
         exportOptions.setFormatOptions(pdfOptions);

         paramFieldController.setCurrentValue("", "@ba", para.getBusinessAgreement());
         paramFieldController.setCurrentValue("", "ReportMonth", para.getMonth());
         paramFieldController.setCurrentValue("", "ReportYear", para.getYear());
         InputStream reportInputStream = reportClientDocument.getPrintOutputController().export(exportOptions);

  • Horizontal lines and Artifacts in Snow Leopard

    Has anyone seen colored lines/ artifacts? They just started appearing since I upgraded to Snow Leopard. They are usually horizontal with colored pixels inside. They are appearing inside windows and palettes more and more. They disappear if I adjust the width of the window but not if I move it's position.
    Example below.
    Thanks.
    Craig
    screen-shot-2009-12-04-at-6.01.16-pm-3.jpg

    I'm having these issues, and even as I type this message the title bar of my browser window displays the glitch.
    A quick web search suggests issues with graphics cards. I never had the issue until I upgraded to Snow Leopard, and part of me believes the problem resides in the OS.
    The screen artifacts get even wilder in Photoshop, with large blocks of glitchy pixels and sometimes I see chunks of other images I had worked on in the recent past.
    Will post back if I solve the problem.

  • Printing to Adobe PDF issues - phantom lines and "see through"

    Hi,
    I have a book I'm working on in InDesign. To export it for the printing company, I'm using "Print" and selecting the Adobe PDF print driver.
    I'm setting the quality to high, images to 305dpi and the transparency flattener to high quality.
    However, at various places in the book I have white lines surrounding image elements (generally when one is on top of another). There are also weird issues where a background "box" (with patterned border) shows through images on top (even though I've moved them to their own layer above).
    An example of the white lines (the circular "p" white lines):
    http://2tap.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/book/p20.pdf
    An example of the background layer "see through" (the dog photos):
    http://2tap.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/book/p64.pdf
    I'd greatly appreciate any help - I'm at a loss as to what is going wrong!
    Thank you in advance.
    Russ

    These are flattening artifacts. The white lines are called stitching and usually don't affect high-resolution printing. I've never seen the others before, but they are most likely similar.
    You can avoid this problem by exporting, rather than printing, to PDF with compatibility set for Acrobat 5 of higher.
