PDF's not printing

Hello
We have just stated using Xero (an accounting programme) & am having trouble printing to PDF on this PC only (can print to pdf if I log on to my account on another PC). Can do up an invoice fine, & can email it to myself (comes through as a pdf attachment); but when I click 'print' and then 'print to pdf' (no printer options come up) the timer goes round & stops, but has done nothing...no box comes up at the bottom of the page asking if you'd like to open or save the document.
How can I fix this?? What settings should I change???

If you use Acrobat, please repost in the Acrobat forum. Please let us know what your OS is and what version of Acrobat you are using. If you are not using Acrobat, and are using the CreatePDF service, please post in the forum dedicated to that service. If you are not using any of those programs, then it is unlikely you are using an Adobe Acrobat related program.

I can able to print text files in the printer properly. When am printing PDF files am getting

Do you have pdf2ps presented in the PATH of applmgr user?
Did you run the concurrent program with (number of copies = 1)?

Please give us the complete error message, every word. This is not a familiar symptom.
Also: What software and version are you printing from? What system do you have?

PDF's not printing to Epson R1900

Posted problem awhile back. PDF would not print to my Epson R1900. Downloaded umpteen different drivers. I am on a G5 Intel Dual Core running OS 10.5.6 or 10.5.7 since yesterday. Adobe very little help, Epson likewise, although I talked to an Epson Tech for about 45 minutes one day.
Decided I had to fix this myself. When in the Print window Click on "Advanced", check mark "Print as Image". This enables printing the PDF.
Adobe has a note about this on their website now.

I recently noticed that when using the Gutenberg drivers on my Epson Stylus Photo 380, it was shrinking the pages slightly.
So I decided to update the Epson drivers, and use them instead.
After updating, I could no longer print over my network. It was making my crazy. I tried everything that I could think of.
I saw your post & tried it. Perfect, worked like a charm!
And such a simple solution.

I can see the MICR in PDF but not Printing on Printer

I have almost done with AP Check printing using BI publisher I can see the MICR in PDF but not Printing on Printer It is printing as normal font... I missed something?

Export to PDF is not printing all the columns in one single page.

I have a report, I am exporting the report to PDF, but ALL the columns are not printing in a single page, It is getting printed 2 or more pages.
I am okay if I have a horizontal scroll bar or if the test size is reduced. Please see the recording and let me know whether it is possible.

Sorry sir, It is a slip of the tongue, I corrected my response already.
So it is defenitely possible to make ALL the columns appear in the same page in PDF regardless of how much width the report occupies?
If yes, can I see a horizontal scroll bar or the text will be shrinked to fit the page?

PDFs are not printing correctly in Adobe Reader 10.1.3

When I try to print pages from a PDF using Adobe Reader 10.1.3, some of the text is not printing. If I use another PDF program, such as Apple Preview, that text is printed correctly.

This is not a channel to official Adobe support. I cannot find the bug by the number you gave in the Adobe help system.

PDF will not print please help

I am using Win7 64, updated print driver, updated Adobe. When I try to print a pdf document it will not print unless I restart my computer for each document. I can print Word documents but not pdfs.

Please follow the workaround available at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/949886?tstart=30 in order to resolve this issue.

PDF will not print correctly from any app

I seem to keep on getting the same error everywhere I print on SL (from safari/firefox/preview etc etc)
It will usually print any lines or logos but miss all text?? I did have the dreaded adobe reader installed but have since removed it?
I am in urgent need of printing out some manuals for a class so in real trouble, help!

Where do these PDFs that do not print correctly come from? Are they downloaded from the internet or from email? Or do you create them yourself on your computer? If so, in which program?
Do some PDF files print correctly, but not others? Did you remove the dreaded Acrobat Reader before this problem developed or after? Did this problem develop only after you ungraded to a certain release of Snow Leopard or has it never worked in SL?
PDF is wonderful technology, but every so often there can be issues.

Graphics-heavy pdfs will not printer to any type of printer.

They send back an error message as displayed below or they do not prints. This happens in both Mavericks and Yosemite, for both Preview and Adobe Reader, our organization's primary pdf Readers. It only seems to apply to the .pdf or similar formats, as when a screenshot is taken of the individual pages, those items are able to print.

The current workaround is based on the notion that the printers are having trouble with pdfs, and not images

Adobe Reader allows us to convert the pdf to print as an image format:
Open your pdf in Adobe Reader
File Print
Click Advanced, next to the printer name
In the Advanced Print Menu, check the box to Print as Image
Click Ok and then Print, the Document should print at this point

PDF Form not printing all field/letters properly.

I'm hoping someone can help me.
I recently created a PDF Form to be filled out when setting up an new customer at my job.
After filling out the form one of my co-workers is experiancing an issue when printing. Anytime he has two or more of the same letters in a field, they do not print.
(For example)
[email protected] will print as Je @aol.com and will just pring our a blank field.
Just for fun we tried to pring [email protected] and all we got was " @aol.com".
This seems to only happen on one pirinter and from my one coleagues computer, no one else.
Any ideas?
I did update his Acrobat to the most recent version and restarted the computer but we still have the same issues.

If it only acts up with the one printer. Then it’s a Print Driver Issue. Or some strange Printer problems that can be fixed by:
Quiting the application your using with the printer
Next Unplug Printer.
IF wired Printer (SCSI, Serial, Parallel, USB, Thunderbolt) unplug computer that comes from Computer
Leave everything unpluged for 2 minutes or more.
Plug Power to Printer back in first
Next Plug cable from Printer to computer in
Turn power on to Printer
Open Application
Try to print Document.
If prints okay your done.
If it doesn't Print, obtain the latest Print Drive from Manufacturer
Remove the old driver from computer first.
quit all apps and restart computer before installing new Driver
Install New driver.
Now try to print.
If prints okay your done. If not there is an issue with Acrobat.
Yes a Printer can work with 500 of your applications, and utilities, and not work with a particular application. (Usually a conflict.)
For example Adobe (Acrobat) has a very rich history of conflict with Print Drivers from HP. At time in the past It seemed like a Contest Adobe had seeing how fast they could change something Acrobat/Reader to conflict with HP Deskjet Printers, as soon as HP fixed an issue Hp would change something with a week or two.
Another issue can be be font. Perhaps a Font used in the form is not on the computer that is acting up.

Adobe Files .pdf is not printing in Citrix Session

We open a .pdf files and tried to print in my citrix session but nothing happens. Not showing the file is printing and no printed pdf in my printer.

Strange! I also have the Reader 9.4.1 Setup and able to print in the citrix session. Do you mean Citrix session as accessing the published app from URL ?
Please check that you have access to the printer. And the printer is working fine with the other products.

PDFs will not print on HP All-In-One C309a

PDF files and only PDF files will not print on my HP Photosmart Premium All-In-One C309a. I can not print PDFs that are online or that are on my hard-drive. I sometimes use the 'print to XPS file utility' and then open and print the XPS file with no problem.
When I try to print a PDF file, the printer makes all the noises it makes when printing normally, but does not print. The viewing winding says "Now Printing", a piece of paper cues up, the audio cue plays meaning job completed and eventually a blank piece of paper comes out.
I am using Windows XP with Service Pack 3.

Is your printer still in warranty? You can check with HP's warranty tool here.
The printheads in the Photosmart 6510 are not removable. I will ask to have an HP support agent to look in on this thread, they may be able to suggest some further troubleshooting.

PDF does not Print?

Can Not print PDF Uninstalled and reinstalled but still does not work. It keeep saying no pages selected, I select 1 and all still does not work????

Are you using Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer on your Windows?
1. If your system is Win 7 SP1 please install a hotfix to update inetpp.dll file at c:\windows\system32.(hot fix info can be found at http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/kb/createpdf-desktop-printer-windows-7.html)
2. If you have not installed Adobe Postscript (PS) driver yet please install it:
How to Install PS printer:
1. Open Start menu > Devices and Printer ( or from control panel) and select "Add a printer"
2. Select "Add a local printer"
3. Select "Use an existing port: LPT1: (Printer port)
4. Select any company and any PS printer with Adobe PS printer driver(not clone) such as Xerox and Xerox Phaser 6120PS
Note: you do not have to have a physical PS printer.
Then uninstall CreatePDF Desktop printer and reinstall it.
Please let me know if this does not help.

Fillable PDF will not print information added by user

Any suggestions on how to get a fillable PDF form which was created by me and filled in by someone else to print their added information? I can see their information on screen, but only the original form is printing. The form was created with Acrobat Pro X (v10.1.4).

Did you create the form?
Can you print the form and fields on your system?
Did you make the fields "display but do not print"?
