PDF saved as 1.4 need to re-output as pdf 1.3 ???

Im trying to insert a PDF in a program and it tell me:
"the document was imported successfully, but may not look as intended.
You may get better result if you can arrange for the PDF to be re-output as PDF1.3 or earlier, or PDF/X-1a."
i noticed under properties the pdf document is saved under PDF version 1.4 ... is there a way of saving as a different version on converting the PDF?
I did not create the PDF though, would the person who did have to save it under a different version and resend ?

If there's no problem when it's displayed, then don't worry about it. There's nothing you can do with Reader anyway. You'd need something like Acrobat to modify the document.

Need to configure output type for adobe form

Hello All,
I need to configure output type for Adobe Form thru NACE. What would be print program and how do I call my form from that program? and, what would be the FORM routine for that form in NACE?
I'm little confused, Pls I need your help.

Hi,
Just before few weeks we did this task.
Say for example if you want to print PO details through ADOBE form instead of normal sapscript layout or standard MEDRUCK, you can follow the following steps.
1. Design the form in SFP tcode, by passing the necessary inputs through form interface.
2. Then use tcode tcode NACE and select EF as application and click output types button on the application tool bar. Select NEU output type and double click processing routines on left side.
3. Then, in the right side of the screen we can see the calling program and the form (may be sapscript or smartform) whatever used.
4. For form names we have two options in NACE tcode.
One is Form and the otherone is PDF/Smartform Form. If you are using adobe form give your form name under PDF/Smartform and also select PDF under the type option in the same screen.
This worked perfectly for us. But pass the required parameters to the form from the routine used in standard program.

How do I upload a document that has been created using pages as a PDF or Word file? When I attempt to upload it, the only choices I get are choices from my camera!!

Tap on the wrench/spanner in the upper right of the document & then "Share & Print." You can then e-mail the document but I'm not sure how to upload to a web site from an iPad.

I have a requirement to Fax/Mail a smartform after VA01 T.Code saved successfully. Smart form contains Ship to, Payer address and Item details. It should be sent automatically.....Can any body suggest me exact BAdi/User Exit fulfil this requirement?

Hi Raju,
check whether you have maintained print parameters in T code VP01 by selecting your output conditin type and also check whether the condition records are maintained correctly in VV31.

Cats Template got saved local but I need for Global

I have made change to my cats screen time line columns ( displaying only one column instead of 31 for a monthly profile ) and saved it as a template ( clicking on the top most corner of the time line)
The issue is, this template is loaded only from the Logged on person but not from any other Logged on persons .
I want to create a template that would be reflected in all the Logged on persons Globally ? can you please let me know how to achieve this ?

How can I save an email to Word? It always gets saved to Downloads, which need to be sent to Word.

You can't.
Copy the photo on your desktop machine to your photo library. Sync the photo library to your iPhone. That way you will have it on the iPhone in the photo library.

While saving a opport page needed in editable mode till errors are present

When i save any opport with errors it gets save with errors messages but the page is in non-editable mode but we want it in the editable mode till the errors are not removed fully.

Need formatted EXCEL output, from View Output,Oracle Applications

To view the report(Normal RDF report,not XML Publisher Report) output in EXCEL, I changed the Profile Options.
From: System Administrator Responsibility.
Navigation: Install -> Viewer Options.
Added the below entry.
PDF application/vnd.ms-excel Microsoft Excel
Now when I submit the report, after completing, when clicked to View Output, I can see the list showing Browser and Microsoft Excel.
I saved the Excel Sheet,but its not formatted. How do I get the formatted Output. As columns are not in proper shape.
Please do the needful.

Calling Bpel Process From a Jsp(Need a string output instead of XML object)

I am calling a BPEL process(Synchrononus) from a JSP page, Where Bpel process calls a java web service.The output from Bpel process is returned as an XML object. I need the output in a string format.Please let me know the steps to get the string output.
I also executed invokeCreditRatingService.jsp(from samples shipped with SOA Suite) that calls CreditRatingService bpel, but i was getting the following output where the rating value is printed as an XML object.
Output:-

Credit Rating is oracle.xml.parser.v2.XMLElement@9511c8
Please let me know, what changes i need to make to get the string output.I followed all the steps given in "orabpel-Tutorial7-InvokingBPELProcesses.PDF" to execute credit rating jsp.
We are using SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0 version.Do I need to make any changes to the code, to make it work with this version.

The call payload.get("payload") returns, as you have observed, an XMLElement. You can simply convert the XMLElement into an XML string by using a DOMSerializer implementation. The following code is very useful for this purpose:

What is needed for LiveCycle Output?

We have several copies of LiveCycle Designer ES 8.1 and we have an Adobe Server running. What is needed on the server to facilitate LiveCycle Output. We may already have what's needed, but just install or turn on.
I assume LiveCycle Designer ES can be used to create templates for dynamic content, which will be used by LiveCycle Output.

Output can be called using - Java API (from an app or a servlet), Web Service (from an app), Flex (remoting) interface, watch folder (drop files in a folder), email, etc.
You'll need to pass it some parameters such as:
The template (xdp or PDF from Designer) - yes it can be dynamic
The data you want to add (XML)
Render options (see the Adobe docs)

FCP 6.0.5 Extremely large exported DV movies? Need to reduce output size

I am working in DV, I have noticed on my latest 2 project, huge exported DV video files. The first was about 15 minutes and the video file was about 23 GB, the latest is about 28 minutes and the exported DV video file is 40.88 GB.
I understand that when I export to Quicktime movie, that I need to use the export codec native to my sequence setting, it order to maintain quality. What are my options to reduce file size? Can I change the sequence settings to Apple Intermediate or Animation to reduce file size? The most important thing, I do not want any loss in quality, of what I would obtain from the native DV file.

The reason why I am posting my question, is I understand an hour of DV video is a 14GB file, this is why I am unclear why my video files are so large. It makes no sense to me. Why are my files not adhering to the 14GB per hour of DV rule?
What are my option for reducing this enormous file sizes?
