PDF to camera

PDF to Camera, is this possible. IPAD only wants to upload photos as DOCS and I am stuck.  thank you

lesley1000,
"PDF to Camera"?  Do you mean "Camera to PDF"?
Camera to PDF (the paid subscription service) will do the following.
Accept (a) a new photo that you will be taking with your iPad/iPhone's camera or (b) one of the existing photos/images that you already have in the Photos apps.
Convert it to a single-page PDF document.
Automatically upload it to Acrobat.com.
To see Help on this topic
Go to the Reader home screen.
Tap Help in the lower left corner.
Tap Handbook in the right pane.
Tap "Acrobat.com and the Could".
Tap the "Saving an image to PDF" link to jump to the section.
Where are you stuck?
Please feel free to ask additional questions.

  • PDF with camera.swf

    Hi,
I have made a PDF with an Flashfield (camera.swf). I can't save the camera-settings of the flash. I have to accept the access right every time.
What can I do to set the settings permanent.

    Hi Victor Gabriel,
I'm not sure what you mean under "print button component".
If I print as usual from PDF, I got blank page.
If I print from flash control, I got very strange result. All bars are black, but outline is in color of those bars from dashboard.
    Thanks,

  • Save PDF in camera roll?

Is there a way to save a PDF in iPad camera roll?

You could view the PDF in Reader, then take a screen capture of each page. You can do a screen capture by clicking the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time. Screen captures are stored in the camera roll.

  • Acrobat 9 standard can't make pdf and can't uninstall or reinstall

952 update killed the pdf printer. Gone. Adobe guy in India couldn't fix it by taking over my computer. He deleted something in printers and faxes and then I got the put in the windows cd for files message. I did a system restore and the PDF printer came back, but now nothing works. Can't uninstall it either in windows or with uninstall programs downloaded from web. In Windows I get the message "This patch package could not be opened. Verify that the patch package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows installer package." Can't reinstall it with the cd either. Same message. Will have to try to call India Monday morning. (Gee, I work Saturday, why can't they.) I don't have a good feelling about this.
Meanwhile, I downloaded PrimoPDF for free and it works a charm. Maybe I'll stick with that. Can't beat the price.

India lady said she would "escalate" and someone would call me withing 24 hours. Nobody called. Too bad, twist slowly in the wind seems to be Adobe's message. I own a jewelry store and I do whatever it takes to take care of my customers. Meanwhile, I paid for their product which was working fine until their update and now it doesn't. Not only no pdf printer, but distiller won't even open. Hangs up and I have to CTRL ALT DEL to shut it down. Manual PDF printer install asks for i386, a windows folder. I have it. It lives in Windows>driver cache but the install doesn't see it. Is there no one at Adobe with the knowledge to fix this? Will Adobe do whatever it takes? If they don't, I will do whatever it takes to get them to do whatever it takes. Grrrr.

  • Acrobat X pro pdf printer missing/ puzzle re forum fixes

Licensed Acrobat X pro installed; but no pdf printer.
    Attempted workaround
    <http://blogs.adobe.com/dmcmahon/2012/06/04/acrobat-pdf-printer-missing-after-installation- on-windows-64-bit/>
Solution 1 repair --did not work
Solution 2 --Uninstall and reinstall: I installed as part of CS5.5...do I have to unistall entire or just Acrobat?
Solution 3:  I am copying below with notes as to what didn't show up
    Manually install the PDF Printer
Click Start >  Control Panel > Devices and Printers
    Select Add a printer
    Select Add a local printer
Check Use an existing port and select Documents\*.pdf (Adobe PDF) from the drop down.  Click Next
[No such file on 'existing port.' attempted using NITRO pdf which came with this new lenovo machine [but never availbale and not installed --jst recommended, although this file exists  < NitroPDF Port: (local port) > which I attempt]
    Click the Have Disk… button
    Click the Browse… button
    Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\Xtras\AdobePDF
Select AdobePDF.inf from the list if using Acrobat Pro, or AdobePDFstd.inf if using Acrobat Std, then click the OK button
    [this files exists]
You will see many Adobe PDF Converters in the list, however count six down from the top and click Next (you may need to try this numerous times to find the correct Converter from the list that works with your version of Windows)
    [Attempted six down--no dice].
Name your printer, e.g. Adobe PDF
Follow the rest of the prompts and your PDF printer should now be installed correctly
If you are later prompted for the ADPDF9.PPD file, it can be found in the C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 10.0\Acrobat\Xtras\AdobePDF\<OS version> folders.
[Once I hit 'test' print it states  < Windows cannot find 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Acrobat 11.0\Acrobat\Acrotray.exe'.
BUT i'm not using Acrobat 11.0!
    Any ideas, o wise ones?
    best,

    Hello All,
    I just figured this out--
I installed updates in the Help tab, and the files required, including pdf printer were installed.
    Works!
I realize that this is a gen behind in software but I am running legacy large format printers and the newest is not the best in this application.
    Hope this helps....

  • Inserting pdf files in word for mac

For the life of me I can't figure out how to insert pdf files in my word for mac document. I can insert the first page of the file by inserting it as an object but can't figure out how to insert the entire document.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
    Thanks.

It actually isn't an odd thing to do. I have been working on a word document - a final report - for a client. I need to add several pdf files as part of the appendices. If I was printing off only a hard copy, I would simply print the pdf file and add them to the end of the report. However, my clients require that the entire document include all the appendices - on one document - to make it simple for anyone who needs to see the final report. I also need to mention that the pdf file is translated document in Inukutuk and I cannot simply copy it and then insert it as the fonts will not translate properly. Complicated I know.... When I insert the document only the first page of the 45 page Inuk document is inserted.
The pdf files came to me from the translators and I don't know what kind of pdf file it is - I can't tell.
Not sure if that is helpful or not...
    thanks.

  • Firefox will not open pdf files & changes the options/applications settings?

At first, with default settings, Firefox would not open pdf files & came up only with a blank screen & no file reference. Going to options/applications & changing the default to a new installation of Adobe Reader still brought up a blank screen but this time with the file ref. Oddly though, attempting to open any pdf file would then change the setting under applications back to Use Adobe Acrobat (in Firefox). But this doesn't work. So what do I need to do to get Firefox to open pdf files correctly using Adobe Reader?

  • Missing Fonts from Imported PDFs

I have a document that has several PDF documents "Placed" in it.  When I go to print, it tells me that I have missing fonts.
From Find Font, I can see the missing fonts and what PDF they came from.  Only, Find Font won't let me substitute it.
I can't change the font on the PDF either since it was not made by my department.   I've tried Placing with and without a Frame.  Tried embedded and linked.

I totally agree.  I'd be a lot less stressed if that's how things were done here.  We are a State University who's funding suddenly got cut.  Work study students are cheap (though not as cheap as fixing up any messes they make).  It's also cheaper to hire people who don't have complete training.   Every program I use, I've learned on my own.  I'm at least smart enough to ask questions and read the manual.  When training that my employers can afford (i.e., free) comes up, I attend.  The only saving grace of Aspergers -  I  learn programs (and programming) quickly - maybe not as efficiently as  you - but better than those around me.  I at least knew about embedding  fonts, linking graphics and packaging (my old days on Mac OS7 with PageMaker and Photoshop)
And at least I can read instructions.   "Place missing fonts in the Fonts Folder, which is located in the InDesign Application Folder." - Adobe Manual
I just looked.  The folder is empty. And I gave them a print out of the instructions.
As  for the Plug-in I asked to have installed "Missing Fonts Loader", they  just dumped the plug-in into the Plug-in folder and didn't bother to  read the "how to install" instructions.  IT must have sent a work study  student.  Every time one touches my computer, something goes wrong or  missing.  Once they even installed the same program twice - 1 per  partition.
Thank goodness the 'work around' did actually  work.  I'll will be working on fixing the problem the correct way, but I  have to has this project ready now - not months from now.

  • When I export to PDF, the black text is printing in full color instead of just black

I have Pages 09 (version 4.0.5). I am exporting a document to PDF and emailing it to a copy shop for printing. The document has a color cover, and 36 pages of black text inside. The copy shop is telling me that the pages with black text are printing as color pages instead of black and white pages. I need to figure out how to get them to print black to keep costs down. Is this a problem with my file, with the PDF export, or with their print settings?
    Things I've tried...
    1. Using the color palette, I have switched to the color sliders mode and changed all the text to CMYK with 100% black and 0% everything else. I have also tried changing it to grayscale with 0% brightness. Neither of these seemed to have an effect.
    2. I downloaded the trial version of Adobe Acrobat Pro and converted the PDF to grayscale. This worked, but it's only a temporary solution.
    Any other ideas?

    Peter,
It's a pretty safe assumption that your average Joe isn't using text styles, but in this case you're talking to a guy who has worked as both a prepress technician and a graphic designer in a former life. I just don't have all the software of the trade at this point in my life. If I did, I sure wouldn't be messing with Pages and Preview. Although overall I'm pretty impressed with them, considering what they are.
Anyway, I am using text styles and I made sure to update them all. The PDF still came out with the rich black color. I have a feeling Pages' PDF exporter automatically converts all black to that four-color rich black on the assumption that you'll want it. I wouldn't care, especially since I'm just printing at a copy shop with no special quality requirements, except that we're printing hundreds of these things every week, and the full color prints more than double the cost.
Thanks for the help, guys! It looks like filtering the PDF through Preview will do the trick. If anybody can confirm a way to do this directly in Pages, I would appreciate not having to go through the extra steps.

  • How do I convert a PDF fo InDesign CC 2014?

I see that I can export to Microsoft programs or .rtf but I do not see anywhere to convert to InDesign.
    Thanks

There isn't one. InDesign files have a complex structure that cannot be rebuilt from the data inside a PDF file, even if that PDF originally came from InDesign. There are some third-party products which attempt a conversion but it's better in the long run to save the PDF into rich-text format (Word etc.) and re-import that into a new INDD template, building the styles and graphics again from scratch.

  • How can I insert a comment into a PDF stream?

I am creating a PDF  stream manually (long story, don't ask) and when
debugging the  resulting PDF by looking at the raw PDF stream, it would
be really  handy if I could tell which parts of the PDF stream came
from which  parts of my code, so I was trying to find some way to
insert  comments into the PDF stream.
    I came up with this:
    (my comment here)  pop
which I thought would create a string object on the stack and  then pop
it off, but this PDF code still confuses Adobe Reader.
Any  suggestions on how I can insert stuff into the PDF stream that
doesn't affect Adobe Reader, but lets me distinguish different parts
    of the PDF stream?
    Thanks,
    Chris

the best is to insert screenshot directly in keynote. If it's for a paper version save everything as pdf and compile with "combine pdf".

  • How to create PDF from Publisher A3 landscape file

I have a poster in an A3 landscape Publisher file, two pages.  When I created a PDF it came out as portrait, and only the left half of each page.  What can I do?  I need to take it to be printed, as I don't have an A3 printer, and the office shop wants it as a PDF.

Not sure where that leaves the bUseConv parameter...
    bUseConv
(optional, Acrobat 7.0) A Boolean value that is used when cPath references a non-PDF file. If true, the method tries to convert the non-PDF file to a PDF document. The default is false.
Do you mean that, despite being documented, it isn't supported?

  • Pdf print issues

hi i'm trying to print invoices that have been mailed to me in  pdf form. i do get a print however its just the borders that prints. all the text and logos are entirely absent. i have tried saving the document and then printing from the saved document but this too produces the same results. this is a new hp laptop that i've recently purchased and i am using a brother mfc-j200 printer. printer drivers and software were installed on my old laptop and this new laptop from exactly the same disc. its a newer version of pdf that came preloaded on the laptop(corporate edition version 4.150). i have never had this problem on my old laptop.
i have checked for a solution online, and found the print as image solution, unfortunately that wont work as this version doesnt have that option ("print as image") on the advanced settings window.
i get proper trouble-free prints from all other programs (word, excel, etc)
    please help
    thanks

You mean the discoloration? That would be PDF tiles and how your printer handles them. In that case you may need to experiment a little with teh PDF settings and also check the color separations in Acrobat. this might reveal some of that stuff to show up on teh wrong ink plates/ not show up and would explain it. Could even be some faint semi-transparent objects you have in your artwork and you have forgotten about tehm. And naturally, your friend should check his local printer settings as well. If he e.g. has a USB printer, the print job may be sent in unfavorable chunks, which then would require him/ her to tweak his settings so the job only starts printing when fully spooled and being sent as one continuous job...

  • Unable to read PDF files

I have a new Mac Mini which I just migrated from an old iMac (the one with the half-dome base). Some PDF files came over with it and some have been received since. When I click on them I get the following message:
You can't open the application because it is not supported on this architecture.
    Any thoughts?

I'm supposing that your old iMac was a PPC model that was able to run the "Classic Environment" -- and that you migrated over an old version of Adobe Acrobat or Reader that required the Classic Environment, which is not available on your new Intel Mini. Locate that old Adobe Acrobat or Reader and eliminate it on your Mini.
