PDF uploaded into webdynpro application successfully, but unable to open it

Dear colleagues,
We have developed a webdynpro appllication in which there is a functionality to add attachments from our local file to the WD applicaiton and save it. Now the error is that we are able to upload the attachmnets successfully and save it, but when we try to view the file which we upload from the WD application, it gives error message and we are unable to view it. For example, I have PDF form which was uploaded successfully into the WD application and save it. Later when I try to open the PDF form to view it(from the WD application), the adobe reader is opened, but gives error message 'There was an error opening this document. The file is damaged and could not be repaired' and we could not view the contents of the file. Please help me in this regard.
Note: The PDF file has no errors before uploading into the WD application. Similar kind of error is shown for other file formats also - like *.docx, *.xlsx, *.pdf, *.docm, *.ppt, *.pptx etc.
Please suggest us how to overcome this error.

Hi Vijay,
are you using business document service to upload the file? There are BAPIs available to save and read the business documents. we used the same concept in our WDA to save and read the attachements to equipment master ie use can see the attachment in IE03 created via WD application and from another WDA, user can read it.

When I drag the doc in a line would show up in the past, and if I went above th eline all was good. It doesn't have a line, and no matter what I try I am having no success.

According to an Apple Support article, unless there are unforeseen issues
in file ownership or permissions, the combining of .PDFs should be simple.

There are a few variable and similar methods, some change with version
of OS X in use; some vintage OS X may vary a little in the process...

If the system is older than Mavericks there may be other methods to try.

Syncing PDF files into my iPad Mini, but will not show in iBooks

I am trying to sync PDF files into my iPad Mini but it will not appear in the iBooks app on my iPad Mini. I have tried to unselect the book and reselect, sync all or sync selected through iTunes. Still have not figured it out! There is 9.75gb left on my iPad Mini which is more than enough space for the PDF files.

Not sure if that same Application is designed for Mac Os x, Search for Applications on App Store instead of iTunes on your Macbook Pro, as Applications available on iTunes Store on a Macbook is designed to work only on iOS Device like iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch and whatever is available on App Store on Mac is designed for Mac Os x.

Well, first, just make sure it's the Mac version and not the Windows version (which indeed would not run on your Mac). You say "Windows Office" which is why I mention it. I think you probably just mean "Microsoft Office" though.
Next, is this on a disk (DVD), or did you purchase and download it from the Microsoft site?

Usually when you uninstall/reinstall you are given the option to retain all your settings including add-ons. If you can't get started, though, I really can't help any further.
As a long shot you could try opening Firefox from your Start Menu or Programs folder. If that works, you should create a new Firefox icon. Drag your Firefox from the Start Menu to the Desktop(it doesn't actually move) and it will offer you the option of creating a desktop icon.
As a very long shot you could check the Properties of the Desktop icon and see if anything is out of place.
When you say it doesn't show up on the screen do you mean it doesn't open at all or it opens to a blank screen? Try pressing F11 if you get a blank screen - you could be in full screen mode.

I have a requirement to offer a Document uploading option through Java webdynpro screen.
I have referred the below link

If we want to add Excel into Java webdynpro screen, then we are trying to create a table with invidual cells. This can be easily possible at Java Portal Perspective using Jakarta HSSF POI API.
But we require at Webdynpro so , we can use the Context feature available at Webdynpro to load the table. now we can load the table data into an excel and we can display it to end users in the form of Excel..
to achieve this functionality pls use the below link

Just in case if u need to achive through Portal Perspcetive in NWDS pls use this.
Create an excel file from JAVA using HSSF api
the advantage of these two methods is we can create mutable tables i.e. each cell of the table is accessable and can be modifed with using the code.

If you want to have portal login details from backend system (with ABAP) you should ask this question in some portal forum and ask if it is possible. This has nothing to do with workflow or UWL. Even if you get the portal user ID to the backend system, then what? Do you want to manipulate the portal roles etc. from your ABAP WD application? Then you will have even more complicated requirements to achieve with ABAP. It is not that straightforward to call different portal functionalities from backend system. You might need to do some "portal development". And eventually your ABAP WD application might come just an unnecessary wrapper component for calling some web services or whatever in portal.

Trigger Application successful but with no transfer

Hello,
I am using CRS 5.01
I am sending callers to another application once we close. Once the call is sent to the Trigger Application step. The call is then fowarded successfully but I do not hear the next script.
1. I created the Application and trigger.
2. Associated it to a known good script.
3. Created a string with the name of the application.
4. Created the trigger application step.
5. Did NOT put on synchronous, as it was successful without it but errored when it was turned on.
Was wondering what I am doing wrong!

No, that's what we have checked. No error on the IDoc. Check that the goods receipt is posted successfully and can see the goods receipt/material document on the PO History screen of the PO. Everything is fine from a confirmation perspective.
Confirmation status is Approved in SRM.

Database : Oracle Database 10g Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production
I have database procedure which attach a pdf in mail and send to specified user.
Its working fine, but my problem here, if inside the PDF file have any logo or images, user unable to open the attachment file.
It give error "It was sens as an email attachment and was not correctly decoded".
For Encoding I have used : utl_encode.base64_encode
If normal PDF file they can open.(I mean without any locg or images).
Please give me your solution for handle this situation.

In your inbox, the mail will arrive.
Now select the "+view raw format+" option of your mail reader (most mail readers have this, including MS Outlook).
Look at the contents of the mail body. This will show you how the attachment was inserted into the mail itself. Look at the Mime types. Look at the mail header. This is a working example of what your code needs to create as an e-mail body in PL/SQL (or any other language).
This is not rocket science....
