PDF vector problem - ASAP please
Hi, I have created design document in InDEsign with links to Photoishop files and AI ( vector files )
After exporting this document into PDF Press Quality file for sending it to print - all Logos ( vector AI files ) looks so awful !
Why PDF is flatten them to so low quality ?
The reason to keep them ( logos ) in vector format is to get fine quality print !
What do I have to do with them ?

The above is a sample of a pdf document which views fine in adobe reader, but in Preview appears to have issues with text lines and pictures interacting. One cuts out the other (or fades it). Can anyone who has know how take a look and tell me what I can recommend to the author to fix this issue so Preview works like AR? Thanks in advance for anyone who has this kind of tech knowledge.I took a look at it and see the same weirdness. Superficially it looks fine, but if you take a close look at the ends of some, but by no means all, the printed lines that abut graphics files while also printing over an underlying graphic, parts of the words have disappeared. What's odd is you can double click a messed up word, select copy, and the whole word appears on the clip board. I seem to remember Preview having some problems with certain kinds of transparency effects that work fine in Acrobat. That may be the case here.

iTunes 11.1.4 "upgrade" is broken. It ruins existing installations. Others have this problem. Please withdraw this release ASAP, and please fix whatever is broken. Thank you for an otherwise excellent product.

If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:

HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process. -
Vector problem... Please help!

I searched the forum but I could not get a correct answer for a vector problem I am facing. I have 2 SQL queries that are nested. Initially I tried to nest them but realized that when I close the connection to one query I cannot nest the other since the first query is closed ( blazix web server does not let you open open a wuery if you have not closed one query) Somebody had suggested to include the infor on a Vector and then reuse it. However I am not sure of how to do this.

Hello All,
I am getting 'Out of memory' error while opening the file. I have tried several versions of Adobe 7.0,9.0,X1.
Also, it is creating issue to convert PDF into TIFF. Please provide the solution ASAP.I am using Adobe reader XI. When i open PDF it gives "OUT of memory" error after scrolling PDF gives another alert "Insufficient data for an image". after clicking both alerts it loads full data of PDF. It is not happening with all PDFs. couple of PDFs are facing this issue. Because of this error my software is not able to print these PDFS into TIFF. My OS in window7*64. I tried it on win2012R2 and XP. Same issue is generating there.
It has become critical issue for my production. -

I have installed Acrobat DC, and would like to combine 2 files. One is excel allready converted to PDF - No problem. The other one is from Pastel mailed as PDF.

I can understand your concern, however can you please let me know that are you able to open both the PDF files ( the one you converted form excel to pdf & the other pdf that was mailed to you ) individually without using any password?
As it asks for the password, it means that the postal mailed PDF is password protected. You can ask for the password from the sender of the postal mail & then try to combine the files.
Please follow the steps in the provided KB doc.to combine the files : Combine files into single PDF | Adobe Acrobat DC tutorials
This will probably resolve your issue.

Smartforms to PDF conversion problem
Hi experts,
I have a fix that requires to send an email with a smartform as a pdf attachment. i was able to send the email with attachment but as i open the pdf file an error <b>''There was an error while opening a document. The file is damaged and file could not be repaired.'</b> or <b>'Adobe could not open *.pdf because it is either not supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for example, it was sent as an email attachment and wasn't correctly decoded).</b>
I already debug my program and what i saw from my OTFDATA that is being returned by the smartform are <b>chinese characters and boxes</b> instead of hashes,alpa characters and etc (please note that my SF does not use any chinese script). I think that the error is due this.
Has anyone encountered this type of problem? Please help.
Also please note that this fix is migrated from a non-unicode dev box to a unicode system dev box

i have installed the foxit reader and yet the error is still there. I believe that the error is coming from the otfdata that my smartform is generating.
As an added information. My program is a Copy from another development box (BOX NA). When i run the program in BOX NA the code works fine and an email is sent to me, but on the dev box i am working right now it does not work fine.
The program in the dev box is a the migrated version of the program in BOX NA. -
Using AcrobatPRO 8.2.3 on a MAC, Trying to create a PDF Form to email to potential customers. I have two basic issues.
Locally (on my MAC) everything works perfectly, even the "submit" button, and it emails the PDF just fine. However, when I send the Form File to someone by disc it does not work, if I email the file it appears to work.
When sent to a PC with AcrobatPro 8.2.3, the form does not perform the math functions, but does do the email submit.
When sent to a PC using Acrobat Reader 9, the form does perform the math but does NOT send the PDF email.
I must qualify these problems a little, I have only been able to test on these three different machines due to access. However, when the file was transfered via disc it did not work.
I need to find the solution to this problem ASAP, boss pushing very hard to have working demonstration for client in two days.IN adobe's infinite wisedom they refuse to acknowledge Mozilla Products (SeaMonkey, Thunderbird, Caminio), Opera and many other Email Clients. The only ones Adobe allows are Edora which is now developed by Mozilla, Entourage, and Outlook express whic no long as of Wondows 7 no longer exist on any platform.
I've put in a request as far back as Acrobat 6 on this matter. Yet it seems Adobe is Bound and determine not to support all Major Email Clients on Mac and Windows platform.
This is possibly what you are running into. If it is, you get a message along the lines of Acrobat doesn't know how to commicate with your email client or something to that affect.
I've put in a request at least once every time a new Acrobat, Reader has come out starting with Acrobat/reader 6. In OS 9 we didn't have those problems. -

I'm having trouble using Jetform 5.5 to output PDF documents. Do I need a separate PDF driver installed... or can I use the JFMERGE task to create the documents?
I'm using the designer to create the form and then setting my presentation target as PDF and compiling... Then using Central output control setting up a job to print to a file with the name of xxxx.pdf; the content of the file is PCL output (as if printed to a printer device) but cannot then be opened in Acrobat.

I am Bharat Agrawal working with GE Healthcare.We have couple of issues while printing through Jetform. Let me explain about the software which we are using with Jetform.We are using ERP MFG/PRO and when we run some particular program to print Jetform we basically face the following mentioned problem:
1. We need the Page no in the format(N of M). Now the issue with the output that we get is 1 of variable name , 2 of Variable Name and so on.
2. When we print range of Purchase order or sales order then the 2nd page onwards the alignment gets disturbed and all the fields value get displayed 1 line down which causes alignment issue with label and field value.
3. The dots on the detail are of the form becomes larger in size.
4. Everything seems to be fine when we print at our local printer. But it creates all the above mentioned issue when we compile the designed form in local system and upload into UK server and run the respective programs to print forms (PDF).
Could you please give us solution for the same? please send me the comments to my email id "[email protected]".

When I publish my site on one specific page where I've added {tag_pagecontent} I get the error:
'Some files on the server may be missing or incorrect. Clear browser cache and try again. If the problem persists please contact website author.'
I'm trying to get a blog module going, I've even deleted the html insert bog with the tag in and re-published which then I don't get the error but as a result no blog either. But then I add the tag in again and publish the error comes back. I've used the dev console and it says that my musicians sample.css is out of date but why is it only out of date when I add in html to my muse site?

Also I've noticed when I've re-published occasionally it will show the mobile version on my desktop and not the desktop version??? no idea why that's happening so I've had to turn that off. any explanation on why that is happening would also be much appreciated.I haven't received an answer as of yet, I'll post t on here when I do. I de-activated the mobile site because it's my clients site so he needs it to be operational during the day. I hope someone gives me an answer soon.

Went to open a file in words and got message. "You need a newer version of Pages to open this document." I have latest version. All other files in words open w/o a problem. Please help.

Pages 5.2 is in your Applications folder.
Pages '09/'08 is in your Applications/iWork folder.
You are alternately opening the wrong versions.
Pages '09/'08 can not open Pages 5 files and you will get the warning that you need a newer version.
Pages 5.2 can open Pages '09 files but may damage/alter them. It can not open Pages '08 files at all.
Older versions of Pages 5 can not open files from later versions of Pages 5.
Once opened and saved in Pages 5 the Pages '09 files can not be opened in Pages '09.
Anything that is saved to iCloud and opened in a newer version of Pages is also converted to Pages 5 files.
All Pages files no matter what version and incompatibility have the same extension .pages.
Pages 5 files are now only compatible with themselves on a very restricted set of hardware, software and Operating Systems and will not transfer correctly on any other server software than iCloud.
Apple has removed almost 100 features from Pages 5 and added many bugs:

If you did not set up find my iPhone on the iPod, you can't find it.
