PDF with forms to PDF without those forms? Some kind render or publish script?

Hello to everyone!
I have the following problem with Acrobat Pro 9:
I did fillable form that works well in PDF. I would like to make the button which would save a new version of the file where it is no longer the possibility of filling the forms. So I want "Render" that form PDF to basic PDF where is no any user interactive forms available. I want to get rid of those forms after and get only those filled data, so user get nice simple PDF with user own filled texts...
Is this even possible or do I seek a solution in vain? Is it possible with Acrobat Pro 9?
I've tried to find a script but didn't find any solution for this yet. If someone could help a little so I would be grateful. Is there any script for this kind solution?

PDFs with automatic follow on pages using forms

Im trying to find out if there is a way to create a PDF where if you are typing in a form on it and reach the bottom of the page, it will automatically create a new follow on(run-on) the reason it has to be in a form, is so that the PDF forms we have in our office are universal, for old and new macs and PCs and the fonts are constant & cant be changed by the user.
So for example if we have a memo page, we just type on it and then we have to start again if we reach the end of the page, is there a way in which we can set up the end of the page, so that when it is reached, it opens up a new page automatically and you can continue typing?
anyone has any ideas or suggestions?

That's possible with a dynamic XFA PDF form created with LiveCycle Designer. LiveCycle Designer comes with Acrobt Pro. If you've not used it before, you should be able to find tutorials and can ask questions in the Designer forum here.
It's also possible with a standard PDF form (acroform) using templates, but these normally won't work with Reader.

Encrypting PDF with password. PDF command failed due to PDFlib error: Bad parameter.

I'm trying to encrypt a PDF with a password and receive this error.
~ERROR~com.adobe.document.PDFManipulation~: PDF command failed due to PDFlib error: Bad parameter.
It does not throw an exception, it just logs this error.
Anybody know how to fix this?

I was also getting this error, when trying to set usage rights on a document and then encrypt it with a password. I found a solution which works (more like a workaround, as this feels like a bug):
1. Open the unprotected file
2. Call pdfDocument.encryptWithPassword()
3. Call pdfDocument.save(), write resulting bytes to temp file
4. Reopen this file with pdfFactory.openPdfWithPassword()
5. Now you can call pdfDocument.setUsageRights() and pdfDocument.save()

Merging GoogleDocs PDF with company stationary PDF

As we are now working "in the Cloud" with Adobe and Google we are trying to figure out a solution to get our documents from Google Docs to a PDF with our company stationary look included. As Google Docs doesn't offer a solution we simply save the document to a PDF and merge it in Adobe Acrobat X with our company stationary artwork. Unfortunately it doesn't work, probably because Google Docs creates PDF with a transparant layer. Does Adobe provide printer plugins voor Google Cloud Printing through which we would be able to print PDF files with a transparant layer.

No. The SSD is not upgradeable. There is not bay. The SSD is just a small board attached to the motherboard.

How to create automatically PDF with Adobe OLE/Automation without pop-up?

I developped an application (langage Windev) which extract datas from PDF documents and split them in many PDF documents.
I use Adobe Arcobat Pro (version 10.1.8).
I call the method "save" from the object AcroExch.PDDoc and the method "close" from the object AcroExch.AVDoc.
It works good mostly but sometimes, after the treatment of a document, I have this message at beginning of the treatment of the following document:
Adobe Acrobat recovered one or more documents that have not been properly recorded before the Acrobat stop.
Click Yes to open the documents retrieved.
However, the methods "call" and "save" return no errors...
Do you know what is the reason? Or how to catch this message?

If you want dynamic content, then you want to use form fields and JavaScript.
If you were to use a n Acrobat Template with the necessary JavaScirpt, you would need to add that template to each PDF and then run a JavaScript to overlay that template over each page.
It might be easier to use a Batch Process or Action to add the necessary Will Print script and form field on each page. You could even add a menu or tool bar item to perform this task.
You can search these forums for the necessary code.

How to create Interactive PDF with multiple .mp4 videos– without lagging on playback?

I'm creating a long document with no real effects-- just a "fade" transition from page to page-- and multiple videos. These videos are all formatted as .mp4s, and I have had no issues with the actual process of getting them embedded and playing back on export.
My real issue is that the videos are all extremely laggy on playback. Since this is a presentation document, I'd like to know if there are any options for making the playback a bit smoother. Each video, by itself, plays with no issues. Would the combined filesize of all the videos be causing this? There are about eight 30-second videos and one 2-minute video, which makes the filesize quite large.
Filesize is not an issue, so is there some way to completely embed the videos or create an external folder the PDF document can draw the videos from on playback...? Hopefully I won't be stuck with laggy videos.

My suspicion is that computer setup has more to do it than anything. How much RAM, whether other apps are loaded, what kind of graphics chip, stuff like that.
I don't know of a setting, though you can look at the Flash Player settings in Acrobat. There is certainly nothing in InDesign that would affect it.

How do I print to "Adobe PDF" with an encrypted pdf?

I've created a form in livecycle and I want the security to be set up as such:
1) A password is required to edit the form in LiveCycle AND
2) People can print the pdf to "Adobe PDF"
I've been able to create livecycle password access, but when I put a password on the LiveCycle Access (currently: Printing Allowed: High resolution, Changes Allowed: Filling in form fields and signing existing signature fields), I get this error when I try to print it to PDF:

How can I edit my form so I can do both.

It´s quite some time I was solving this.. but as I already wrote and I can somehow remember(as far I´m not working on this platform for 3 years): printing 150dpi is one thing - it´s printing like a simple pic. Printing in hi-res works in completely different way - pdf must be redistilled with pdf distiller or how it was called. Means, there must be additional step before printing the pdf form. Cant remember the details.

Rendering PDF with Windows.Data.Pdf and allowing text selection

Hi there,
I need to render a PDF and allow the user to select text on the PDF.
As I see, Windows.Data.Pdf does not support more than returning an image.
Even so, how can I achieve my goal? The Windows 8 app "Reader" has this capability but I don't understand how it works.
BTW: I have tested other renderers but they have rendering issues with some complex PDF content (complex: RTL).

Unfortunately, the built-in PDF feature has not provided select text on the PDF. You can send your request on UserVoice to ask public that API.

Does ID supports exporting hyperlinks from a file that has a placed PDF that already has hyperlinks?
Cause after exporting all the hyperlinks of the place pdf disappeared.

Importing PDF pages
Using the Place command, you can specify which pages you want to import from a multipage PDF: You can place a single page, a range of pages, or all pages. Multipage PDF files let designers combine illustrations for a publication into a single file.
The page range options appear when you select Show Import Options in the Place dialog box. The dialog box includes a preview, so you can view a thumbnail of the pages before you place them. As you place each page, InDesign reloads the graphics icon with the next page, letting you place the pages one after the next.

I have a Nokia Lumia 720, and placed a PDF file on to the SD card in a folder called DOCUMENTS.
After downloading Adobe PDF Reader and installing the app, when I open the app, it says NO FILES AVAILABLE.
Where do I need to place the PDF file for it to be found?
Any ideas?

Ray (rayhipkiss) thanks for the advice. And to scoobyman, who had the solution.
After copying the file from my (Win7) PC to the phone (and I tried copying it to the SD card) using the USB cable, it would not show up at all, even in Office.
Scoobyman suggested that I place the file into my SkyDrive folder. That did it, and it does now appear when I open the Adobe PDF Reader, BUT, it still doesn't show up in the phone when I browse the Phone & SD Card.
When I opened the file, it had to download it from SkyDrive first, and then it opened.
Not a very neat way of doing things, but I am getting the hang of this Lumia 720 after 4 weeks now.
Some of it is logical, but other things are not too clear!

XFA forms are not regular PDF's but XML files in a PDF shell.
To create a word file from those files, you first have to flatten the XFA forms by printing as PDF with the Adobe PDF Printer.
Then you can save using ExportPDF the created static PDF as Word document.

If it is a form, then there should be fillable fields that change to an I-bar as you move the hand over the field. If the hand does not change, then it is not technically a form -- only looks like one. You can use the form tool in AA5 to add fields to complete, use the typewriter tool (or it is some other name in AA5), or select the text touch up tool and hold down the ctrl key as you place the cursor to create a new text box.
