Pdfs with small text in the upper left margin

When creating pdfs using X from Windows 2010, little bits of text get removed from the page, reduced to very mininscule text, and thrown up into the left upper margin of the page. Why does that happen? How do you stop it from happening?

In LR Prferences try unchecking 'Use Graphics Processor.'
If that works next try upgrading your graphics drivers via AMD, Intel, or Nvida webste for your graphics adapter model.

That's called Flagging. It's a way to make a quick selection of photos. For instance if you're looking for the best shot to print you might go through the photos and flag candidates for further inspection. Then clicking on the Flagged Section on the left, you can see these selected photos together. You can remove flags by clicking on them, if you mouse over a shot you'll see the option to add a flag by clicking. This can also be done in the Photos menu.

Illustrator CS 6 won't paste into a text box/paragraph of text, instead pastes a new line of text in the upper left corner of my document. How can I get it to paste into the selected paragraph or highlighted text like normal?

I've done it a million times, I copy a selection of type...I select the type that I want to replace it with, and then I paste. Now, Illustrator will only paste the text as a "point text" (a single line) somewhere else on the artboard—it seems to always be the upper left corner of the art board.

In cases of sudden appearance of strangenesses, the list may be relevant, hopefully the easy part at the top.
The following is a general list of things you may try when the issue is not in a specific file (you may have tried/done some of them already); 1) and 2) are the easy ones for temporary strangenesses, and 3) and 4) are specifically aimed at possibly corrupt preferences); 5) is a list in itself, and 6) is the last resort.
If possible/applicable, you should save current artwork first, of course.
1) Close down Illy and open again;
2) Restart the computer (you may do that up to at least 5 times);
3) Close down Illy and press Ctrl+Alt+Shift/Cmd+Option+Shift during startup (easy but irreversible);
4) Move the folder (follow the link with that name) with Illy closed (more tedious but also more thorough and reversible);
5) Look through and try out the relevant among the Other options (follow the link with that name, Item 7) is a list of usual suspects among other applications that may disturb and confuse Illy, Item 15) applies to CC, CS6, and maybe CS5);
Even more seriously, you may:
6) Uninstall, run the Cleaner Tool (if you have CS3/CS4/CS5/CS6/CC), and reinstall.

My itunes page has been replaced by a small window in the upper left hand corner of the desktop. i can control my music, but cannot access radio, itunes store etc. ie can only play my music in a random order that i cannot control. i am unable to return

i was listening to the radio on i tunes and suddenly the itunes page dissapeared and a small window appeared in the upper left hand side of the desktop. i can control only my music via this window which has a search fwd and back arrow and a play and pause button. there is also a volumn set to full. i can control my music by the volumn control at the top rt of all pages. i want to access the itunes store and the radio, but cannot (can access the itunes store by googleing it.

One website appears small and in the upper left corner of the screen - how do I fix

A website that used to appear normal on my screen now has shrunk and is at the upper left corner of the screen. It is too small for me to use. How do I get the website to appear normal size again? I already tried "Full Screen" option and that does not fix the problem. I am using Firefox 16.0.2 and Windows 7.

The graduated filter shows no change in the main screen image. It works on the small thumbnail in the upper left hand corner...

Image in pdf is small and in the top left of page

I am creating a pdf from a tiff in Photshop CS5, windows xp. The file is a map that is 36x48" at 100%. When I create the PDF the map image comes out as and 8 1/2 x 10" image in the top left corner of a 36" x 48" page. Can't figure out why this is happening. Has anyone else had similar issues and anyone know how to fix it? This used to work and now it doesn't???

I am trying to download the newest Itunes to windows 7. I did have a previous version that I used the control panel to delete. When I click on download, I get a small partial window in the upper left corner showing Internet Explorer Cannot Display the Web

I did have a previous version of Itunes and Quicktime that I used the control panel Uninstall to remove. When I do the download, I get a small window in the upper left saying Internet Explorer Cannot Display Webpage. It is trying to get to ....itunes64setup. I did check to see that all old Apple directorories, etc have been delete. Help!

Okay. Let's see if you've acquired some kind of restriction for the download site. These settings checks/changes apply to the IE downloads, so we'll be trying to use IE again.
Head into your Internet Options control panel, and click the Security tab. Click Restricted Sites.
Check to see if the following website is listed as a restricted site:
appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net
If it is, remove it from your list of restricted sites and try another download.
If still no joy, head back into the security tab of the Internet Options control panel. Click Trusted Sites this time. Click the "Sites" button.
Add appldnld.apple.com.edgesuite.net as a trusted site. Uncheck the "Require server verification" box. Now click OK and try another download.

Weird small box outline in upper left of dreamweaver app

Hello,
I've installed the trial of Dreamweaver and there is a weird small box in the upper left of the application when I'm in it. Its just hte outlineo of a rectangular box. No content in the box. If I have tabs or something behind it I can not click that item. So, its very annoying. Anyone heard of this before?
It only happens in Dreamweaver. No other Adobe applications.

Which workspace are you using? You might try a different one.

I get the same thing... no matter what site i try to pull a pdf for IE10, it gives me the black x... if i use chrome it works, but my client does not want to use a different browser.
I followed the guide that Pat posted... nothing worked... I have uninstalled and reinstalled Java, Adobe reader, Adobe flash,.. upgraded to IE11, then back to IE10 due to medical software that is not compatable with IE11...
The kicker is that my Admin profile works just fine.. no issues.. so i know it has something to do with his profile....

How do I remove in the upper left corner the Firefox logo which is followed by text describing the web page. Want to declutter the screen and gain space.

Right above the Menu tool bar, (File,Edit,View, History,etc.), in the upper left hand corner is the Firefox logo followed by text..as I'm typing this, it reads "Ask a Question|Mozilla Support-
Mozilla Firefox". Since I already use the Navigation tool bar, find this information redundant and most important want to regain some real estate on my small screen by removing it if possible. Thanks.

I checked with my colleagues in the office who use the same network and theirs work just fine on iOS7. Any idea how to fix the problem?

I have also called my service provider and my service remains active in the network. I tried removing and reinserting my SIM but to no avail.

ME TOOO!! omg it's so annoying. I have only had this happen with an iphone 4, and i noticed it started happening after I did a text msg. usually it's just a big Capital "Q", in a similar position as it would be on the keyboard. but it stays on the screen. Now it also stays there even when i go to my home page or any other screen for that matter. I recently had my phone swapped out because my home button had worn out (uh oh....less than 6 mo old too!) but even on the new phone it's doing the "Q" thing too.
mine only goes away when i reboot. grrrrr. glad im not the only one tho.

How do I close the white box with a keyhole, gear, and lock that sometimes randomly pops up in the upper left of my screen?

Every now and then, a weird white box with a keyhole, gear, and lock pops up in the upper left of my screen. I can't seem to close it or move it, and when I try to use another application, it stays there and blocks features. The only way I've found to make it go away is by force closing Firefox.Why does it pop up and how do I close it? I'm on an iMac, Snow Leopard. Have the latest version of Firefox, 10.0.2.
