• PDK Java for JDev 10.1.3 available?

May I know if there's a Portal Developer Kit already released for JDev 10.1.3 and where it is to be found?
Otherwise, when will it be released? Do I have to use JDev 10.1.2 in the meantime until a new PDK is released?
Thanks!

• PDK for JDev 10.1.3

With the production release of JDev 10.1.3 is there a working version of the PDK.

Hi All!
I found this rather old post here on JDev forum but i have the same doubt: are there any plans for a PDK Extension release for JDev 10.1.3? If so, is it being built around ADF Faces/BC4J Stack?
Any info is appreciated.

This can happen in the following scenarios:
1. You are passing a rowkey for a row that doesn't exist anymore.
2. Your rowkey values no longer match the row's attribute values becuase the row has been edited.
3. You obtained the row key from one view object and are trying to locate the row in a second view object and the criteria for the second view object doesn't contain this row due to its query criteria.

• Oracle JDeveloper 10g (10.1.3) Documentation available for offline..

is http://www.oracle.com/webapps/online-help/jdeveloper/10.1.3/state?navSetId=_&navId=0
available for offline use ?
i checked Jdeveloper help and it does not contain "Overview of Development Process with Oracle ADF and JSF" as it is available in web page.
is it possible to get this documentation as a package for offline use ?
thanks

Jdev installation comes with documentation in html/pdf format
under $JDevHome\jdev\doc directory. There you should check the adfdevguide.pdf

ojdeploy is basically a command-line tool that uses JDeveloper to do the build. It can integrate with ANT via an included ANT task. You're guaranteed that the build process is the same as when you develop/test using JDeveloper - because ojdeploy uses JDeveloper. Yes, some purists have a problem with installing JDeveloper on the build server, but it's a small price to pay.
Yes, Maven is out there and can be used. In the current state of Maven/JDeveloper/ADF integration, it requires quite a bit of work to set up, and it does require some manual work whenever you change project libraries/upgrade JDeveloper/etc. There are people who have gotten it set up, and I have no doubt it's the bee's knees and all that, but it is a good deal of work to set up and maintain. The one big benefit I see of Maven is you can use it to store your generated artefacts - such as ADF Library JAR files - that's a great thing if you have set your development up along those lines.

• OA Extensions for JDev 10?

Does anyone know when/if OA Extensions will be released for JDev 10? It's my understanding that they're semi-released for JDev 9 (via patch 3834854 if you ask nicely in a TAR) but I'd really like to get them for JDev 10 now that this new version has been released.

The OA Extensions are only available for JDeveloper 9.0.3 I believe. I don't know the schedule for releasing a new version based on 10g of JDeveloper. You may want to try in on of the e-Business Suite forums to see if any information is available as to the current release plans for new versions.
Thanks,
