Pdnsd and wget (via yaourt) issues

When I have pdnsd running, yaourt fails to upgrade stuff from the AUR, through wget failing:

This only started happening a few days or maybe a week ago. Any idea what could have caused this incompatibility?

I got similar problem with yaourt and pdnsd, I can browse or install/update packages with pacman, the problem is only with yaourt:

Issue with BIS and location via cell network

I am having an unusual problem on my Blackberry 9850. This started happening randomly over the past few days, currently happening now.
Via the 3G network, from my home area (Eustis, Florida USA - ZIP code 32726) certain BIS functions do not work correctly.
I can not send BBM chat messages, I get the red "X " for the message, but I can receive them.
Web browsing to Google.com brings up the Google Mobile site for Argentina. When I try to adjust the language preferences back to English - United States, it just refreshes back to Spanish - Argentina.
However, if I turn on WiFi and allow the BIS to switch over to that, everything works fine.
I have already tried *228, option 2, several times. It only fixed it one time last week and then awhile later is was not working correctly again.
Any idea what is going on?

Got through to Verizon support this morning and they brought in a BlackBerry Tech on the line.
Turns out there was and still is an issue with the Verizon BIS server and they are working on a resolution, but no ETA.

On-premise SharePoint 2013 and SkyDrive Pro Sync Issue

I'm not sure if this is the correct forum between SharePoint and SkyDrive as the issue is related to an update on SkyDrive Pro.
premise SharePoint 2013 installation (migrated from 2010) and Office 2013 installed. SharePoint is patched up to the latest CU. Syncing documents from SharePoint worked fine until KB2817495 was installed. The syncing still seems to work but we cannot add
any new libraries, either directly from the browser using the "sync" button or adding the URL to "Sync a new library". I've tested it with an Office 365 account and the libraries add fine so I'm not sure whether it's a SkyDrive or SharePoint
issue. If I uninstall the update then I can successfully sync new libraries from our on-premise installation.
At this point the only solution I can see is to prevent that update from installing via WSUS.

Yammer already have Single Sign On with Office 365, but SharePoint Server for on-premise does not follow a 90-day release cycle and it won’t yet. Also we are looking for Yammer integration with on-premise
soon. There are improvements coming.

Awful Customer service and handling of my issues

Not quite sure where to begin but i would like someone to take notice of my concerns as it appears no one in the service center is. I have never received such a poor service and whats worse is that the information i have been given appears to be false.
The issue started over a month, in november my ex partner bought me a brand new laptop from littlewoods, a G505s, the AMD quad core, ati 2GB graphics, supposedly the works, anyways after about a month it got really hot and then eventually the screen went blank and would not show any picture, so i contact Lenovo who arranged to collect the laptop and repair it.
The laptop was received on the 17th of January in germany at there so called repair center, i called them each day to check the status and at first was told to wait the 10 days, then after the 10 days, ui was then told to wait 28 days, then two weeks after the initial contact i was told they would find out how long the parts would take to arrive and so fourth, this went on for weeks. Eventually after nearly four weeks, i was told the parts would take too long and so they would issue me with a returns code if i coudl provide proof of purchase. The problem is the laptop was apresent and my ex girlfreind was not playing ball so thinking that i would have to wait for the laptop to be returned, low and behold i come back from work and there we go, they returned the laptop UNREPAIRED.
I received a document with it saying that they have diganosed the problem as the motherboard being faulty however they have so called resolved this issue by returning the laptop without being repaired, which i did not ask for them to do, i asked for it to be repaired or replaced under the warranty which they are legally obliged to.
When i contacted LENOVO about this, i was put through to a rude senior supervisor who was very rude and unhelpful, stating that i had to provide this and when i tried to explain that i was unsatisfied that it had taken so long for this to get brought to my attention he claimed i was being abusive. I asked for an email address to email into and he refused to provide this, i asked to escalate the call, he refused. I think considering i have worked in customer services for over two years i know how these work and there are complaints procedures in which if a complain is not resolved then it gets escalated if the customer requires this however it appears Lenovo and this so called senior does not feel the same way.
All i want is my laptop replaced or repaired, an email address to send my formal complaint about this member of staff and my outstanding issues resolved, as i was given [email protected]

are you connected directly via a filter to the NTE5 master or test socket or to somewhere else? Is the master the only phone socket in your home?
Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal if you hear noise then you need to report a phone fault to 151
regardless of which ISP you use apart from cable the engineers will be exactly the same as all the lines are owned by openreach and treat all ISPs exactly the same

PP CC 2014 and AE CC 2014 issues an nMacPro

My frustration with the combination of Adobe and the new MacPro grows. I’ve posted in here before and everyone has been helpful, I’m hoping you can help shed some light once more. First I’ll explain the issue then let you know how the system is arranged.
Issue 1: PP CC 2014 and AE CC 2014 seem to be struggling with each other. Renders in PP take an extreme amount of time if AE is open. Once closing AE, PP will increase render speed by at least 4x-6x faster (no exact calculation, it gets a lot faster). Dynamic Link between the two is really poor performance. Basic text titles with keyframed opacity changes in AE Dynamically Linked to PP, take forever to render. This is not heavy lifting or anything crazy effects or 3rd party plugins. Basic text. Again, if I close AE, the render speed increases. This is obviously not a good workflow. The reason our studio switched back to PP three years ago, was the improved workflow of Dynamic Link across Adobe products. This is proven to get worse, at least in the case of the new MacPro and CC 2014.
Issue 2: When editing in PP, often times the program stops playing back anything. You can scrub the time indicator, but no video plays and no audio plays. It hangs. Pressing the space bar or selecting the play key does nothing. The only way to get the program to react is a restart. This is on a timeline with one or two 1920 x 1080 video sources. Not heavy lifting for a program that boasts about playing native 6K footage. This is a more recent development.
With both issues presenting themselves in different projects, it is not isolated rot a single project that may have been corrupted. I have switched Mercury Playback to software only. It does help somewhat, but not nearly enough to call it a workaround for now. The frustrating part is this problem does not exist on 2011 MacBookPro. That is extremely frustrating given the NMB costs 10x what a new MacBookPro would’ve cost.
The setup: New Mac Pro 2.7 Ghz 12-core 64GB RAM Dual D700 Graphics Cards 1TB internal flash drive. OSX 10.9.4. Adobe CC 2014 stored on internal drive. Project is stored and playing from a 1TB (Journaled) Seagate drive connected through the following: Thermaltake dock esata connection to a Sonnet Tempo Sata Pro 6GB Express Card in a Sonet Echo ExpressCard Pro Thunderbolt adapter connect via Thunderbolt to the nMP.
RAM allocated to Adobe products is 52GB with 12GB remaining for “other” system essentials. Scratch disks are set to the project disk so all media and scratch disks stay together. We typically work on 3-4 projects at a time, this setup allows us to keep track of everything.
The above setup and issues are present on the nMP. Compared to a 2011 MBP 2.3 Ghz core i7 8GB RAM AMD Radeon 670M 1024MB graphics card. OSX 10.8.5. The MBP is connected to the drive via the Sonnet esata card and shows no signs of issue 1 or issue 2.
Any thoughts and suggestions on how to help these issues are greatly appreciate. I’ll even take general comments on how to make the system better. Currently the nMP is an expensive paper weight and Adobe is losing my confidence in PP.

This is not an answer but an addition to this problem. I am not trying to hijack but i feel my issues are very similar to what BMercer was having.
I just recently bought the new mac pro with 500gb ssd internal , 6 core, 64gb ram and dual d700s.
I upgrade and purchased CC after i was pretty well convinced that CC was the way to go for this computer as opposed to CS6.
Fo how much i spent on this new computer and new CC subscription i feel this should be functioning better.
I have noticed when i have very basic files on the timeline(1920x1080, no effects) they are still dropping frames or i cannot scrub through them smoothly. As mentioned by BMercer for a machine capable of handling 6k these DSLR files should be pretty simple.
I am trying to do a time lapse for a client and I am having extremely slow load times. This is more difficult but i still believe it should be loading way faster then this.
About 2000 frames of raw DSLR photos simply compiled in AE then opened the sequences in PP and placed them into the timeline. This is taking about 45-60min to render the timeline. I have to do this because scrubbing or trying to play goes nowhere.
This i could accept as well except for when i look at the stats of the computer in the activity monitor and Istats the CPU maintains a 60-70% idle, the GPU stays very low and the max ram combined usage is about 15gb(memory pressure doesn't even show on the graph). So I would assume from this there is nothing i can see that is "holding" the computer back.
I have the exact same MBP as BMercer and i am having far less issues with doing the exact same files rendered from a relatively slow thunderbolt external drive.
Is this a setting issue? Or is this something we can expect to see an update to?

Enqueue AQ$_JMS_OBJECT_MESSAGE via PLSQL to JMS and Dequeue via Bean

I want to be able to enqueue on to AQ$_JMS_OBJECT_MESSAGE queue and the dequeue to via Java Bean.
Unfortunately I am having problems dequeuing via the messege driven bean as it is not able to dequeue any of the messages enqueued via oracle SQL plus
I am able to enqueue and dequeue via the bean. I am also able to enqueue and dequeue via oracle SQL plus and able to dequeue and messages enqueued via the Java bean . Hoever I am not able to enqueue via Oracle SQL plus and dequeue via Java bean
I am thinking that I have not set sumthing properly but I have checked everything I know
P.S. - I am still learning all about AQ, so if I have missed an obvious solution, please let me know.

Have lost key clicks and music via speakers after updating to ios5. Sounds are there when headphones are plugged in. Have checked all settings and done hard and soft resets. What to do?

I am unable to replicate your issue. I am able to open winzip files just fine through MSWebFolders. Your Windows client may have an older version of the Web Folder Client (MSDAIPP.DLL). Can you find that file on computer (should be in common files\system\oledb) and check the version (right click --> properties -->version flag). We support 12.0.6415.1000. There may be issues with older versions of that file (some of those issues are discussed here - http://greenbytes.de/tech/webdav/webfolder-client-list.html).

Cisco 887 and TC 500GB dns issues

Hi,
I have a strange problem here so hopefully someone can help.
I recently replaced a Netgear adsl modem with a new Cisco 887 ADSL2 modem router. Now the Cisco does the PPPoE and the TC is in bridge mode. TC does the DHCP and clients connect to it via wireless. The Cisco takes care of all rounting and internet traffic.
My problem is that when I connect to the TC via the wireless with a PowerBook 17", IMac 21", IPhone 4, Ipad 1 and 2, web browsing times out on most sites.
But if I connect a Win XP, Win 7 or Blackberry to the TC wireless, no problem at all. All sites are quick and resolve instantly.
I checked all settings of all devices that the TC hands out and they are all the same. Same gateway, same DNS servers, same subnets and so on.
Even If I bypass the TC and connect via ethernet to the Cisco, the PowerBook and the IMac have the same issues. I connect Win XP and Win 7 to the Cisco and no problems.
Is there something I'm missing in the Cisco config that affects all Mac devices? I've had the Cisco checked by a CCIE and he sees no issues.
Is there a problem on the Macs connecting to the Cisco?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It is interesting as I just hit the problem last night for a simple setup.. not cisco. But standard ISP and wireless adsl modem router. It has worked fine up to last week according to my friend. She went to use it one day and no go.. but the router is getting IP address and gateway. From the PC it can open the router gui no problem. But no way will it pass packets.. it can ping the ISP gateway and sometimes the dns servers but is not consistent.
I used another modem and the issue was exactly the same. I tried wireless instead of ethernet.. no change. So now we are down to PC or ISP.. !!
ISP says everything good on their end.. although I take that with so much salt.. it needs preserving. They say that until you can prove the issue is them.
Anyway I had to get it going so bridged the modem and used pppoe client on the computer.. away everything goes. It is still having issues with ping to some sites.. so I still think this might be ISP. It can also be MTU but I tried lowering that in the router and got nowhere. She is finishing an MBA.. so I promised to reformat the computer after the end of term, and I can have another go.
Everything is supposed to work except when it doesn't. Good to teach humility every now and then. Just wish it didn't need to be so hard.
