As a test, try dragging, while holding the Ctrl/Cmd modifier key, that "music" to Audio Track 2, and the "bird sounds" SFX file to Audio Track Audio Track 3. There have reports from other users, where the Fixed Audio Tracks, Narration and Soundtrack have caused problems. Those problems seem to be Project-specific. If your Timeline does not have Audio Tracks 1 - 3 already, you can use Add Tracks. The use of the Ctrl/Cmd key, changes how PrE handles existing files on the Timeline, when adding Assets. This usually comes into play, when one is adding Video, or Stills, and should not really affect those, when only adding Audio, but remember, this is only a test.

If you are using a Mac, simply hit Command-Spacebar to bring up Spotlight Search. Begin typing the name of the application and when you see what you are looking for, press enter. You should get a hit by the second or third letter you type. Great way to launch apps on computers that you are not familiar with.
Windows 7 and 8 should have something similar. I think you simply press the Windows key and begin typing. Press enter when you see a match.
Both Mac and Windows search tools can be customized to search for applications, files, emails and so forth. For Windows, look for Taskbar and Start Menu Properties. For Mac, go to Preferences Spotlight. Turn off items you know you won't need to speed up searches.

I have a user on an iMac 10.6 connected to our domain. She uses Outlook web access for email on our exchange server. Last week she received the following message which is randomly preventing her from sending emails. She claims no attachment was involved in the original email when this all started. I have not been able to look at her account as she is out of the office but maybe someone else dealt with this issue. I realize this may not be Mac related but thought I'd give it a try. She did say it occurred once over two days while working on a PC but it continued over the past weekend.

This is because F-Secure Anti-Virus for Microsoft Exchange has detected a virus in the attachment. If the user tries to send the message again, the message will be sent but without the attachment. PS - have found other posts indicating that clips smaller than 2s or sometimes 5s, or "short files" can cause this. Modern style editing often uses short takes ! Good grief I cannot believe Apple. Well I deleted a half a dozen short sections and can export, but now of course the video is a ruined piiece of junk and I need to re-do the whole thing, the sound etc. which is basically taking as much time as the original. And each time I re-do it I risk again this lovely error -50 and again trying to figure out what thing bugs it via trial and error instead of a REASONABLE ERROR MESSAGE POINTING TO THE CLIP IT CAN'T PROCESS. What a mess. I HATE this iMovie application - full of BUGS BUGS BUGS which Apple will not fix obviously, since I had this product for a few years and see just hundreds of hits on Google about this error with disappointed users. Such junk I cannot believe I paid money for it and Apple does not support it with fixes !!!

However since most of my apps are downloaded from the Korean store I'll need to switch back in order to update them. Does anyone know if there are any issues in doing this. You canot easily change your country settings. The iTunes Store in a country is intended only for use by that country's residents, and only while they are in the country. To use the iTunes Store in a country you need a credit card (or other card type if acceptable in a country) issued in that country, billed to an address in that country, and also be physically present in that country when using the store. You are also restricted to waiting 90 days between country changes.

Not it's only function but one for which it was most admirably suited, which is why I really hope someone can find a work around. I am hoping my post to the Apple feedback may prompt a useful response from Apple and I live in hope that my post here will elicit a useful response from another user. I did not miss the the text at the top of the feedback form but you presumably missed my initial text, 'someone here can explain' or my subsequent 'work around from another user'
Just in case anyone reading this has a large collection of music videos, video podcasts or iTunes U then DO NOT upgrade your iPad to iOS 5. If you are considering purchasing the iPad as a useful mobile device to experience these media organised in your iTunes please don't as you will be wasting your money. (unless someone on this forum knows of a way to undo the mess created by those infallible folks at Apple)

This depends, if the music was purchased on the iTunes store you can transfer purchases. If it was not then you would need a 3rd party program in order to rip these files to the computer.

Did the original songs that do not appear on the car player play in the Music app on the iPod? Sometimes glitches happen and they do not. When I upload video, the video disappears and screen is green.

I am uploading a few videos to Adobe Premier Elements, and when it is uploaded there is no video - just a green screen. The audio still works. The video plays perfectly in Windows Media Player. Any suggestions? Below is a picture of what it looks like when uploaded. Thank you!

Lots more of information needed to help you with this.
1. What version of Premiere Elements are you working with and on what computer operating system is it running?
2. What are the properties of the video that you have imported into the Elements Organizer? We can see that it has a .mov file extension. What is the video compression, audio compression, frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive, and pixel aspect ratio? What device recorded the video?
3. What happens if you import the video into Premiere Elements with its Get Media/Files and Folders (versions earlier than 11) and drag the video to the Timeline? Do you get green video or the video that you expect? If you have done that already, what did you set for the project preset in that project?
4. And, do you have the latest version of QuickTime installed on the computer with Premiere Elements? Are you running the program as Run As Administrator and from a User Account With Administrative Privileges?
Let us get the above factors ruled in or out and then we can decide what next if necessary.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting that track from your iTunes library and redownload it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

This problem sort of solved itself. The iPod kept running until the battery went dead, and when I plugged it in to power this morning, it behaved normallyh.
