PE7 My project closes down PE7 every time I go to share. Help please!
Hello a newbie here,
I've created a project that I'm trying to share. When I go to do so it crashes. I know its an issue with this particular project because I can share other projects. The file sizes are small and they are basic file types that I've used before. Is there a way I can copy and paste my timelines into a new project to see if that would help? Any help much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Can you give us the details of all of the Assets used, the Project's Preset, the Export/Share settings, and then your computer. The more detail, the better.

Can anyone help? I have a brand new ipod touch which closes down my computer everytime i plug it in. I have updated i tunes and we have 3 older ipods on the computer already in there own sites for the kids. I am not a computer wizz and getting frustrated on what to do.
Pretty much anyone using an iPod Classic with iTunes 9 or 901 is screwed in a similar manner. Read around these threads and you'll see man. Sorry, no word from Apple yet on what's going on.
Looks like their ''upgrade" to version 9 may actually be damaging hardware, as hard as that seems to believe. -
Firefox crashes EVERY TIME i open it. Help please!!!
All of a sudden, my firefox crashed on me, and every time I try to re-open it, it keeps on crashing.

It doesn't load on safe mode.
I don't know what to do. Please help...Alice... I was not seeking an answer, as this was the solution that was causing mine to crash after updating firefox and flash. After much frustration, this solved it for me. I posted in all the forums where others were having a crash, as it may be the same problem and they seem to be related to what I was having. It was posted in the hopes it would solve their problem. All they can do is try it..... Then the group at Mozilla.org can work out why Firefox with the latest flash needs admin rights or not. I also have zone alarm set pretty high on security... so it could be that it does need to be run as admin... it is worth a try...

When i editing in the piano roll windows, after 10 at 20 editing steps my logic pro 9 crashed down. Every time. Is this a bug?
Maybe find a local who can translate for you. I don't know what to tell you for dealing in another country for service on your computer.
I can offer you something you can do if you want to give it a try. You'll need a backup of your data in your Home folder because you need to erase the drive. You'll also need a solid, preferably fast, internet connection.
Install or Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion from Scratch
Be sure you backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive because the following procedure will remove everything from the hard drive.
Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
1. Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
2. After DU loads select your startup volume (usually Macintosh HD) from the
left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
3. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Optionally, click on
the Security button and set the Zero Data option to one-pass. Click on
the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
4. Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion: Select Reinstall Lion/Mountain Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible
because it is three times faster than wireless. -
this morning i turned my music on and the volume wouldn't go down, and every time i tried to turn it down it just kept going back up. If i were to hold the volume slide down while playing the music it would make a sort of chopping sound in the music. I finally restarted it and it fixed it but i was wondering what the problem was.
Did you already try to reset the ipod by holding the sleep and home button until the Apple logo comes back again?
If this does not work, restore "as new device" without using the latest backup, in case it contains corrupt files.

After a few minutes, the page down won't work without clicking the mouse pointer on the page I am reading to activate page down again. Is there a way to go back to page down working every time without having to click the page first?Today, two other users reported issues with the back-forward history list dropping down if they hovered the mouse pointer over the back or forward button -- without clicking -- and then moved the pointer downwards. One user was on a touchpad, I don't know about the other user. Are you experiencing anything like that?

I opened a PDF in iBooks, but now I can not close it. Every time I open iBooks, the PDF is opened and I can't close it. Any suggestions on how to close it and get back to the book shelf?
Do you have an icon at the top of the page that says 'Library'? Tap that to get back. If not, just tap on the page that shows up and this should bring up the icons at the top for Library, another for the contents of the book, and the text size, search, and bookmark.

Can you post a copy of the crash report?
Go to your Applications Folder and open your Utilities Folder. Open the application Console.
In the left-hand column, click on Crash Reporter.
Click on the small triangle under Crash Reporter in the l/h column and they will all be listed.
Scroll down to the latest Safari report and click on it.
Now click on the r/h column (which now only shows THAT crash report and then Command-a to copy it all.
Come back here and Command-v it to post it here! -
QT v10.0 crashes every time I try to share a .mov file to my mac gallery
Does anyone have any thoughts on why QT v10.0 would continuously quit on me every time I try to share a .mov clip to my mac gallery? The sharing option on my co-workers computer works- so I know it must be something with my own mac, but haven't the faintest idea where to begin my troubleshooting... help?

Head into your control panels and try to launch the QuickTime control panel. What error message do you get then? (Precise text please ... the information in the error message about where QuickTime thinks the QuickTime.cpl file lives can be of some help with diagnosing the nature of your problem.) -

Its likely to be caused by Ozone5.. many people have reported that plugin is currently quite unstable and are awaiting updates from izotope to fix the problem... No ETA has been given by izotope for the fix however...
Also several of your plugins are out of date (Zebra2, Clariphonic, Ozone itself.. to name but a few,)
Finally, you are running an older version of Logic Pro X (10.0.3)...and I would normally suggest you update to the latest version but... if you have a USB2 audio interface do not update to 10.0.5 at this time.... unless you know it will work correctly with the new version of LPX. -

When I try to install Itunes, I get this error: (translated from Norwegian) There was a network error while trying to read from the file: C: \ windows \ installer \ iTunes.msi I have tried many times to reinstall, but nothing helps, please help me.
(1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):

(2) Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
(3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
(4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
(5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time? -

Do do I stop the auto downloader every time I stick a USB into my PC? I have tried turning it off & would be happy if it never opened again unless I put an SD card into PC.

ITunes keeps clearing library + playlists every time I open it. HELP!
This problem just arose yesterday, and I still can't figure out why. Every time I close iTunes and reopen it for any reason, my entire library is gone, as are my playlists. I have to manually import all of my songs back in and it's a real pain in the ***, especially since I have to do it AGAIN the next time I open iTunes. At first I thought it was just a problem with the program, so I completely uninstalled it and reinstalled iTunes 9. Same problem. I can re-import my entire library and reconstruct all of my playlists, but the second I close the program and then open it again, it's all gone again. This has to have happened to someone else, and I'm sure the answer is looking me in the face. Can somebody please help me?
BTW, every time I plug in either my iPhone or iPod nano, it says that it's registered to a different iTunes account, even though the iTunes program I have installed right now has all the right information concerning my accounts.Yes, many Vaio owners have seen this exact problem. There is some Sony media management software often preinstalled on Vaio systems that causes a conflict with iTunes saving its library database file. Why it just triggered I can't say, but it is a common issue.
