Pearl 3G 9105 doesn't read nemory cards

Hello. I have a prorotype Pearl 9105 with OS 5.0.0.925. The phone doesn't read any memory card, I was thinking, is it a problem with the firmware?

Did your Equium read MMC card with XP? If yes, then I suggest you to reinstall your drivers and check if you forgot to download some drivers to download/install.
Sometimes you can find drivers which are not on the european website on the canadian website of toshiba:

Blackberry Pearl 9105 3G can't read memory cards

Hello. I have a prototype bb pearl 9105 that works 100% except that it cannot read memory cards, ANY MEMORY CARD. It has beta OS 5.0.0.925 (bundle 1534), can the firmware be the problem?

I recently purchased a Blackberry Pearl 3G 9105, three days ago in fact. This is my first Blackberry and I have a number of queries with it so was wondering if someone could help me?
1. How do I select multiple e mails and text messages in order to delete them?
I have heard that this can’t be done on this phone but surely this can’t be true. I have tried holding down the ‘aA’ button while scrolling but this does nothing.
2. How do I select multiple recipients in order to send a group text?
For example, on my last phone I could type a text, and then select a number of people to send it to by scrolling down my contacts and simply clicking on each recipient I wished to send the text to.
3. Email settings. I have my hotmail account set up. When I receive an e mail it shows that I have 1 unread Email. However if I am at my desk and I have read the email on my PC, the Blackberry still shows it as unread. Is there any way to change this so when emails are read on my PC they are shown as unread on my phone?
4. My scrolling button is sticking. I have changed the sensitivity to different settings but it hasn’t solved the problem. It just doesn’t run smoothly.
5. The keypad has stopped lighting up. It sometimes does light up but most the time the lighting isn’t working.
I have tried taking the battery out and seeing if that solves any of the problems but it hasn’t worked. Are these common problems or do you think I have a faulty phone?
Any advice would be much appreciated.

SD Card Reader is Identified as WPD FileSystem Volume Driver and will not read SD card(s).

In Device Manager "This device cannot start."
Temporarily Used MiniTool Patition Wizard to repartition my SD card for my Android phone. When I noticed issue, I uninstalled the program. Windows Disk Management see's the SD Card; Ubuntu sees the SD card; yet it doesn't appear in "Computer." Thus I cannot transfer files.
I have reinstalled all AMD Motherboard Drivers and Alcor USB 2.0 drivers. Issue still remains.

Maybe you are missing the SD card reader driver. When you plug your SD card reader in the computer, it will automtically install a compatible driver for your SC card reader to work and to read your card data. If the driver isn't installer properly, your card reader won't work. Use Windows Update to update the driver, alternatively, you can try DriveTheLife. T430s Smart Card reader cannot read some cards

Hi all,
I have a T430s with a smart card reader.
Turns out that some cards (including, as it happens, one of my personal cards) the reader can't read. It either does not respond at all, or gives an "unknown card" identification. The very same card, on the very same laptop, using an Athena USB reader, works flawlessly.
I'd say it's a reader malfunction BUT some other cards are read perfectly by my built-in reader... Why would the reader refuse to read certain cards?
Any ideas? Anyone seen something like this?

If the driver for the media card reader doesn't work,
I found your computer in the personal system reference and saw you actually have no Smartcard reader. But you do have the 4-1 media card reader. Which is specific to all machine types of the T430s.
With a little more investigating I found out that
You have a Ricoh Multi Card Reader on the computer. This reader is able to read SDHC cards, but to get it to work fully you have to update the driver.
Here is the link to the driver. Which this driver supports XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

My MacBook Pro does not read XD Cards.

We're on vacation and took a whole bunch of pictures with my wife's Olympus camera. When we realized we left the cable home I went to Radio Shack and bought a Card reader.
My Dad's 10 years old HP computer has no problem reading the **** thing, while my overpriced because it works MacBookPRO what a joke laptop can't read it.
the reader is Converter Drive by Digital concepts.
Is this why we have supported the cool looking nerds at 1 infinite loop while everyone else was buying PCs? I'm an old timer (Mac since 87) and disgusted with all the small details and corners apple is cutting.
Can someone please explain how is it possible for the "leader" for the design community's computers to not be able to read something an HP can read.

I haven't had any problem reading XD cards with a pretty basic card reader on any of our Macs, Turk (MBPs, MBs, iMacs, PB's , iBooks etc)
The reader you have bought has some pretty awful reviews, I'm afraid. see http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Concepts-Flash-Memory-Reader/dp/B00178LEJA for example. You will see that PC users have problems with it too. PC and Mac users alike seem to have problems with it not just not reading, but melting! When 6 out of 7 users give a device a "1 star out of 5" rating you can be pretty sure its a dog. (Sorry, that is rather unkind to dogs when I think about it!).
I'd suggest you simply try a different brand of reader. I'd avoid the super cheapies like this one in future, though. This one, in particular, sounds like a serious fire hazard. maybe you are lucky it doesn''t work in your Mac!

Nokia 6233 MMC doesn't read!

When i add a MMC card, i try KINGMAX, NOKIA , 1 GB, 2 GB , 64 MB it doesn;t read it ( i tried to reset to the default factory setting... and nothing... so... any comment about this problem and solutions ?

Have you tried using another SIM card? Upon getting that message, did you hit on Accept or Reject? Two possible reasons are what you have stated, by the way.

K9N Platinum doesn't read SPD correctly

K9N Platinum doesn't read SPD correctly. When i put any RAM to my computer and set timings to auto it always set timing to 5-6-5-15 ignoring SPD on RAM/RAMs.
Is it only my board problem? or all K9N Platinums?

However, MSI could change something in the BIOS to make your memory work properly.
As the Jdec standard is Intel system testing only (if I'm not mistaken) it could well be that the AMD CPU can't work with those values, so it ups them a little.
Don't forget, Intel uses "CPU -> Chipset -> Memory", but AMD uses "CPU -> Memory"
The only one that can answer this is Corsair, so I suggest you ask them why the SPD is different on AMD's.
They know that, we don't.
But it's not strange that AMD's have higher timings.
In any case, it has nothing to do with the board, as the AMD's have an in-CPU memory controller! Intels do not have this.

Sounds like you may need to repair the Disk Permissions on your drive where your images are stored.

I had a problem a couple of months ago when iPhotos suddenly rearranged the order of my Events (Why won't iPhoto let me arrange my photos?) . I was told "Use albums not events - events are not a good way to organize - albums and folder are designed for organisation and are very flexible".
Haha! I should have paid attention and read between the lines! My iPhotos were highly organised groupings - not according to date but the way I wanted them - and it was so easy to do! I see now that if I had them all in albums, as per the Apple Apologist suggestion, I wouldn't have this unholy mess I have been left with just to make iPhone & iCloud users happy. I am now going through Photos and making Albums (of what used to be in my Events) ... maybe I'll get this finished before they do another non user friendly update!

Optical Drive doesn't read DVD's

Hi, I own an HP Pavillion dv7 1279wm entertainment laptop. It came installed with Vista, but I installed a free upgrade to Windows 7 that I got from HP. I had a problem where the drive would not read anything; the disc would spin, but eventually the tray would automatically open and tell me to insert a disc. After using Microsoft FixIt, I was able to read CDs, but encountered the same problem when trying to load a DVD. Previous to using Microsoft FixIt, I did use device manager to uninstall the drive and then reboot so Windows 7 would automatically update the driver. I'm thinking that means that it's not a software problem, but if you can think of anything else I can do (short of swapping out drives because I don't have access to another drive) to rule out it being a software problem please let me know. I realize that combo drives typically use different lasers to read CDs and DVDs, so my guess is that the laser that reads DVDs has failed. If that is the case, where can I find the correct replacement part and how do I install it?

Hi Kevin,
If you eject the optical drive tray, you should see just one laser situated towards the centre of the tray - different voltages are applied to this depending on whether it's reading a CD or DVD.
First of all, use a soft, non abrasive material such as cotton or a cotton bud and gently clean the lens.
Check if this has made any difference.
If it still doesn't read DVDs, try following the procedure under the sub-heading 'Let me fix it myself' on the link below to remove the Upper and Lower filters, restart the notebook and see if this helps the issue.

If it still doesn't read DVDs, the following procedure will test if your notebook can start from a bootable disc in the optical drive - the advantage of trying this is that it will rule out any possible Windows driver error as the CD/DVD drive is under the control of the Bios when starting the notebook. So if you find that the notebook will not boot from the DVD, then it's almost certainly a Hardware fault in the optical drive itself and it will need to be replaced.
Using another PC to create a Windows 7 Rescue DVD. Download the relevant ISO from the link below.

You need use an application such as ImgBurn to correctly burn the ISO to a DVD - a guide on using ImgBurn to write an ISO to a disc is Here. Once created, insert the DVD and then restart the notebook and see if it boots from this disc - if it does, let the first screen come up ( this will show repair options etc ) then just remove the DVD and restart the notebook. If the notebook will not boot from the DVD, it may just load straight into Windows.

near zero.
Buy a very old computer or move to a new application.
