Pearl: can't figure out how to set up email...
I purchased my Pearl about 2 wks ago, and haven't had any luck with email setup. I previously had a bb for work, but that was managed through a work account. I'm trying to view my local IP email via my bb, and not sure it can be done at this point. This is probably pretty basic, but it's confounding for me so far. Any help?
Follow the below procedure to integrate your mail IDs-
Click on the E-mail Settings icon. User will be prompted with BIS Terms and Condition
On click of E-mail Settings user will be prompted with BIS Terms and Conditions
User need to click Yes and also Agree on the mentioned Terms and Conditions
Upon agreeing the Terms and Conditions Email Account Setup prompt will appear. From this part user will be able to integrate his/her existing email accounts
For integrating existing email accounts type in the Email Address and Password as requested
Upon clicking the Next button you’ll receive a notification of successful integration of BlackBerry. Click OK to finish the integration
Right after successful Integration handheld will receive an email from Activation Server. This is an welcome notification for you

I have tried to figure out how to set my history to only save 2 days. I am sure that in previous version of firefox that this option was available where as in this one I don't see that. So I am either blind that I can't find it in the history option or it doesn't exist. It seems the options are remember history no limit or always to remove when closed. I want the options of setting how many days not the other two. Is there a way to do that? Thank you.
No need to crop your clips. The mask does the cropping of the upper clip.
To use the image mask, you need an image to place into the drop zone in the inspector. In your case you'd want a simple black to white gradient as the image mask and choose Luminance in the Image Mask source luminance pop-up. I'm attaching a sample gradient. The original was 1280x720 to match a 720p movie but the forum shrinks it down. This gradient was created in Photoshop in less than 30 seconds.
You import this gradient file into your event. Click on the Mask Source in the Image Mask effect and then click on the gradient file in your event list and click Apply Clip. Change the Mask Source to Luminance. Change the offset mask parameters to move where the gradient lines up in your movie. -
Can't figure out how to set my midi controler to control the sampler!
I have a Korg Kontrol49 and I want to be able to control the sampler knobs and faders with the ones on my Korg. I have it connected threw USB. It works for the keys but I can not figure out how to program the rest of it. Any help would be great. I tried reading everything I could to get it to work but I cant. Please help!

I can't figure out how to set a breakpoint in a SenTestingKit unit test
I'm learning Cocoa after decades of doing other languages. I'm trying to use SenTestingKit for unit tests. One of my unit tests doesn't work, and I want to set a breakpoint to figure out why. So far, I haven't figured out how to do this.
I found Chris Hanson's instructions for how to do this, but he apparently wrote them for an earlier version of Xcode, and I don't know enough to adapt them.
I am writing a tutorial document for writing a simple Cocoa App using Xcode 3.1, git, SenTestingKit, and OCMock. It's at http://xorandor.com/FirstCocoaApp. I've got it up to the point of trying to debug a unit test, and I'm stuck there.
I also couldn't figure out how to have Xcode run the unit tests while building the application. Again, Chris' instructions didn't quite do it, and I don't know enough to figure out the rest.
So, if you know how to do this, please give me some hints. I'll put those into my tutorial, so that the next people who need this can find it.

PatI figured out more of my problem, but I haven't solved it yet.
What happens is that, after I create a test case, I try to run it with a breakpoint. After I start the program, Xcode turns the breakpoint from blue (meaning active) to orange (meaning that it can't set the breakpoint).
Several people have said to turn off the Lazy symbol loading preference. I did that, and that didn't fix the problem.

The font on my 3gs suddenly went oversize, does not fit the screen, and I can figure out how to reduce the size. It is almost impossible to move around let alone type.
Try double tapping with three fingers.
Them go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Zoom OFF. -
Can't figure out how to set a frame width
Noob questions I suppose....our instructor has us creating a
site using only framesets. I realize this isn't the best way to go,
but we are leading our way up to CSS.
If you look at my navbar, it needs to be 125 to be able to
fit my buttons, but I can not for the life of me how to set the
width of that frame.
Also, how do I name the site on the index file from "untitled
document" to what I want. I know how to do it on individual
pages... or normal index pages, but here, it does not seem I can
pull up the index file alone without everything being loaded and no
way to edit the index file.

You set the width of a frame the way you'd expect to - in the

I am connecting my new iMac to my Buffalo router. I forgot my router password so I pushed the reset button and my computer was able to connect. The problem is, I can't figure out how to set my new password and lock the router. I went to the Buffalo website and downloaded the CD, as I can't find that either. I can't open any of it because it says it is Windows and can't open it. I am new to Apple!

But this is what you want basically.
Router, new Wireless N, firmware updated.
1: Two accounts, one admin, one guest Internet access. Random +30 plus character lenght passwords each preferred.
(guest password to max password length of any iDevices)
2: Encryption: WPA2 AES. No Ping. No remote access. No MAC filtering. Visible.
3: Guest access on devices and computers only. Passwords written down and stored.

If you get OpenDNS, you can log into their website for free and set parental controls on things like inappropriate sites for children. So whatever device is used on your network can't access a large portion of those sites (nothing is perfect) by most users who are not technical oriented.
What your doing now is running the bare bones unsecure router which can be used harmfully against you.
Even a Apple Airport router has to be very well secured. The defautl cd and out of the box setup is not a secure solution. -

On my i-phone, my contacts are backed up on i-cloud, That seemed to have happened automatically, but I can't figure out how to set up so that my calendar, notes & mail are also backed up.
Contacts, as well as calendar, notes, mail, are NOT included in an icloud backup. They reside in their own databases on icloud.

How do I use GarageBand as a amp/speaker to listen to my Electronic Drum set? I have a MIDI-USB cord already but I can't figure out how to listen to my set through the software using my computer speakers?
If you want to listen to the sounds of your drum set, you should use an audio cable and connect it to the computer's line-in, then create a real instrument track.
If you use a Midi/USB interface, you'll have to create a software instrument track and select one of GB's drumsets as the instrument. Hopefully your drumset's midi notes are mapped to the right sounds in GB. -
