Peculiar GD13 Demand - SAP Report Extract

Hi Gurus,
Please help me for this.
My business user is using TCode: GD13 to run report (Ledger Display -Data reoprt). Later he enters
the record type =0, Ledger =US, Period 1-10 , CoCd and execute. Report comes out. Then he selects
his layout and selects the "Local File" icon on the menu bar and selects "unconverted" format and saves
it on desktop.
The thing is user has to import this file (every month ) into another software - Hyperion and issue is
the width of "amount coloumb" on this saved file differs every time. Because of which Hyperion
is not able to import the file. For example if today you run a report GD13 for CoCd 1098 and save
the local file as unconverted. The amount field may be in coloumb 82-101 where as tommrow
it may be 82-97. i.e the amount field coloumb width is changind w.r.t cocd and time. User
wants the amount field coloumb length fixed 82-97 . whether it has $1 or $1000000 [million].
Now Hyperion software import file amount coloumb is set 82-101 and user can't import that
into another system. Is there a way via which I can set a defined coloumb width for amount field
of the unconverted format saved file .
Or is it possible in SAP that I can have a CSV format listed when I click on Local file post
execution [ In CSV format amount field is constant]

Problem in Excel after extracting data from SAP Report

Hello,
I have a problem with Excel file after extracting it from one of the SAP report.
When my client extracted data from SAP in to excel he is coming across minus symbol on both sides of the number.
for ex: -447492177-
When i extracted same SAP report in to excel i didnt face any such problem.
Please share your inputs on what could be the problem.

1. Make sure your client and you are using the same version of Microsoft Excel
2. Let your client try to OPEN the exported xls file from a existed workbook instead of double-clicking the file directly.

On Demand Sub-Report not working

Hello,
I am using crystal reports xi-r2 I am having trouble getting an on-demand sub-report to work. After much trouble I am able to get the sub-report to work in the designer but as soon as I publish the report and access it from the CRS. It stops working. I can not get the sub-report to come up. Or it opens another window like it is going to show the sub-report but I get the original report again.
My second question is how do I open a trouble ticket now that this has all moved to SAP?

Daily demand forecast report

Hello, can you please help with the report design on Bex, I am a fresher on SAP BI.
I have a requirement to design Daily demand tracker, report is published weekly, i have to show the fields in report as sunday, monday... soon, overall week total demand? Can you please tell me how we can achieve this?

Hi Poori, Once you are in RSPC transac, choose you Chain and double click. Then press F8 and you'll schedule the job each day of the week and hours, normally C priority. Regards.

Standard SAP reports for detailed Service Entry Sheet data

Hi All,
I am searching for standard SAP reports to extract the detailed Service Entry Sheet data out of SAP. For example, I need the deailed information like Service Entry Sheet Number, Purchase Order Number, PO line item number, short text, Posting Date, External Number, Service number, Quantity, Gross Price, Cost Object (Order or Network or WBS), Personal Number (if applicable), workday. I couldn't find any standard report. So if anyone know it, please help me.

In ME2S also you can get good report by execution and by clicking SO/ PO number.( where cost object can be viewed)
If you are very much specific, go for development

SAP report with sales (invoices) and cost of goods sold

Is there standard SAP report that would show list of invoices, the materials sold, and the cost of goods sold (for how much they were bought)?

If it is a one time activity, the please do the following.
SE11 , put the table VBRK and execute (you may use selection criteria like DATE o BILLING DATE if there is any specific data which you are trying to extract.)
VBRK-VBELN will give you the list of invoices.
You can download the same into spreadsheet.
Now copy the VBELN entries from the spreadsheet and put it in SE11 of VBRP as VBELN.
VBRP-MATNR will give you the material sold.
Download the same into 2nd spreadsheet
your cost of goods sold will be coming in the pricing procedure against any condition type.
So in VBRK which you have extracted earlier, you will find VBRK-KNUMV
Put that KNUMV in KONV table (put KSCHL= your condition type which shows the cost of goods sold).
Download that also as a spreadsheet.
Now you may combine these 3 spreadsheet with the help of someone who is an expert in excel and get the required data.
(BILLING NO FROM FIRST EXCEL , MATERIAL FROM 2ND EXCEL AND COST OF GOODS SOLD FROM 3RD EXCEL)
Check and revert back.

SAP report for movement type and material type

Hi!
I would like to use a standard SAP report to give me a list of all the movement types (much like MB51) but instead of material I would like to select on Material type e.g. ROH. The result should for example be a list of the movement types 501 on material type ROH.
It is urgent, if you could help me I would be very greatful!

I have managed to join the two tables and created a report that will work, except that the amounts in local currency that is given by movement type 201 is not negative (as in MB51). I need all movement types that generate a debit must be shown as a negative value. Wo when I summarize all the movement types I end up with the value of 101 minus 201.
Is that possible without ABAP programming?

Open an HTML file from a SAP Report

Hi all!
I would like to open an HTML file, that`s in a local directory of my PC, from a SAP Report.
It is an alv list, where I have added a pushbotton. And I would like to code the utility of open a local html file, when someone push it.
Anybody knows if it is possible?

On Demand sub report not printing in IE and Other Browsers

Hi All,
We have developed Crystal report for our web application with version 13.0 and Visual Studio 2010.
When we run our web app in IIS report display fine in All web browser and when we print report in ActiveX mode in IE 9+ for main report it prints fine but if we print on demand sub report it not printing even a single page out of 2 or more than 2 page.
If on demand sub report has only one page then it will print in IE 9+ browser.
Even If we click on Export button on demand sub report easily export to pdf or any formate the issue while we print it.
It going to hanged while we print on demand sub report with more than one page.
Please help in this issue.
Also please let me know if you want more detail.

Is there a SAP report that shows a list of sales orders on which pricing conditions have been changed.
My knowledge is:
Review pricing condition transaction data table (KONV) helps is some way.

I don't know any such a report, but I guess you can play arround with table CDPOS.
Change doc. object = VERKBELEG
Table Name = KONVC.
Actually this will take lot of time.

Open an on demand sub report in a new window

Ya you are right, for what i know, Inforview is not possible to open a subreport from a RPT file in a new windows as well.

When i posted the question for help, i just want to know if i could display a crystal report on a new window.
My situation is that i have a page that is size 3in x 3in ( Just a small static graph ) and i wanna attached a A4 report. In order to have a nicer view at inforview ( 3in x 3in border box ), i will need to reduced the size of the crystal report. The size of the main report is now properly change, but it affects the view for the sub report ( As subreport is A4 size, the system display the A4 size document in a serveral 3in x 3in page. -_-"' ).

I wanna try out your solution, but i can't find the hyperlink tab in perference option ( in inforview ).
I manage to solved my problem (suitation that i have explain to Wallie Cheng ). That is to created a hyperlink to the report. Rather than a subreport link.

Creating a new column in SAP reports

Hi All,
I need to add a new column in, Financials --> Financial Reports --> Accounting --> General Ledger. When I try to create a column, it says Column already exists.
Kindly advise me if it is possible to add new columns in SAP reports.

you can't add a column to a system matrix using UIAPI - the only way is to add a userdefined field
