Pemiere CS 6 doesnot support P2 ?

I want to confirm that Pemiere CS 6 doesnot support P2 mxf files.
Yesterday I installed CS 6 and could not get a CS 5.5 project to play correctly. It kept getting out of sync. This project worked without issue in CS 5.5. The video files that have issue are P2 HVX 200 DVCpro50 720p24PN, it is important to note it was the Panasonic "native" video. Interesting DVCpro50 files 1080-60i play well.
I made a test project and linked many different types of files but still had issue with the 720p24PN files. I even tryed to transcode to a Quicktime with media encorder and had the same problem. Playing the footage in the Premiere media browser, importing it, playing it in the source window and finally playing it in a squence had sync issue with video and audio.
My workaround was to transcode in Prelude. Amasingly playing the same footage in ingest stayed in sync. Nexted I transcoded to P2 movie, with encorder in the background, sent the footage to Premiere and the footage played and worked great.
Please advise me if it is correct the P2 files do not work in Premiere CS 6.

I have all adobe updates. For the last hour I have be installing Panasonic P2 software as stated below:
Panasonic P2 drivers and software
Before working with P2 footage, download and install the P2 drivers and P2 support software.
They can be found at http://www.panasonic.com/business/provideo/support/software.asp.
The drivers will allow the computer to access and understand P2 hardware, including the P2 cards
themselves. The support software, including P2 Viewer and P2 Contents Management Software
(P2CMS), will provide a substantial set of tools for working with the P2 card contents. (The Mac
version of P2 Viewer is included with P2CMS.)
I installed the P2 viewer and driver software and restarted.
I could not get the P2 contants Management Software to instal.This may be an issue although I do not edit from P2cards the all video files are mounted to media drives.
FYI I do have aja kona LE+ as the in-out box but the monitor video is following the premiere viewer window perfect.

I suspect you really have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1.

I don't know if this helps, but I'm still working on this problem and took a screen shot of my Console Message errors:
What's happening here is opening the program, trying to save and it crashes. Then trying to open the program again and it crashing before it even opens. Finally opening the program a third time and trying to save it using "save as" instead of "save" (which I found one forum recommending) and it crashing again.

SMTP RFCs.
The main concern is around section 3.4 of that RFC. It says that
addresses in address-lists must be separated by commas, however BO XI
forces the use of semicolons in some fields, and allows their use in others.
There is a mention of semicolons in the RFC, but that is only if you aresending to special "address groups", which I don't think is
used anymore.
Semicolons on their own cannot be used to separate addresses.
One problem we have faced due to this is that the Sendmail SMTP server
will truncated the recipient list of the message incorrectly separates
addresses with semicolons. I am sure that other SMTP servers will display
unpredictable behaviour due to this bug.
1. Schedule a webi report to send an email.
2. In the Destination section, you are allowed to enter semicolons to
separate addresses. When the report runs it will not convert these to
commas before sending them to the SMTP server.
3. In the Notification section, if you separate addresses with commas,
they will revert back to semicolons after saving the schedule. Email
headers also contain semicolons instead of commas.

The problem is that if the variable is set as mandatory, it will prompt the following error?

Sql exception : Driver doesnot support this funtion

I have successfully connected to SQL SERVER 2000 & i was able to retrive data from datbase using SELECT query(using executeQuery),
but when i do insertion i get SQLException : Driver does not support this function
Any one know the reason or a solution to it.

The error had nothing to do with the SQL itself. It had to with the fact that he was attempting to use the "execute(String)" method signature on a PreparedStatement object, and that is not supported (at least not in that driver or in any other, that I am aware of).

Call transaction method is used only when user needs an immediate response. LSMW is intended for the master data uploads. It is used when there is large data is avaialble and run during the non business hours and it also maintains the logs of all the data.

What is the disadvantage when a derived class extends two base classes (ie)
multiple inheritance. Where C++ uses it effectively. Is there any reason why java does not support that & uses interface for that???

uses interface for that???No. It's a bug.I don't think I would call it a bug. It's a direct consequence of the original design, becuase of the inclusion of the Primordial class (java.lang.Object).
Let's say you inheritted from Integer and String. Then you would be inheritting Object twice, once from Integer and once from String. Then, which one would you use to get the hash code? which one to get the toString? the clone?
Whether or not it should be a feature of java has been in debate since java was created, but it certainly wasn't a bug. I believe it was deliberately not supported (although i acknowledge that I'm by no means the expert).

Since the iPhone 3G will only run iOS up to 4.2.1, if these apps require a higher iOS level, there is nothing that you can do.
There should be some dictionary apps in the App store that will run on iOS 4.2.1.

JDBC and MS SQL Server support

I'm using JDBC to access a MS SQL Server DB. To be more precise, I tried both the MS JDBC SQL Server driver as well as jTDS. Here's the question:
I'm using scrolling and committable cursors. My application could definetely make good use of full detection of inserted, updated and deleted rows - that is, I would like to use
ResultSet.rowInserted()
ResultSet.rowUpdated()
ResultSet.rowDeleted()
to automatically detect each row's status. The problem is the following:
DatabaseMetaData.insertsAreDetected() returns false
DatabaseMetaData.updatesAreDetected() returns false
DatabaseMetaData.deletesAreDetected() returns true
i.e. I can only detect deletes using either of the two above mentioned drivers.
Of course, I could construct an enhanced ResultSet class mimicking the behaviour I want, but I'd rather not.
The question is: Does anyone know a JDBC MS SQL Server driver supporting automatic insert, update AND delete detection?
If so, please give me a pointer.

I am in serious problem.
Jdbc doesnot support database connections without DSN.
Oracle and MS SQL Server 2000 both provides ADO for
connecting with their databases without DSN. But Java
doesnot support ADO.
Can anyone help me out?
I never use a DSN when connecting to Oracle. Nor is ADO used.
But then I do use the drivers that Oracle supplies.
And there are a number of MS SQL Server drivers, and they don't use DSN nor do they use ADO.

This is correct.
anything you used to do with svrmgrl tool, is now integrated into sqlplus tool.
svrmgrl does not exists anymore in 9i. Alle functionallity has been taken over by sqlplus (use it with the nolog option).
(internal does also no longer exists)
