PEN TOOL DOESN'T WORK ANY MORE after PS 2014.2 update!

I just downloaded the latest Photoshop update.  Pretty slick......adjustable fonts in the dropdown menus again.....nice guide improvements.  One little problem....THE PEN TOOL DOESN'T WORK ANY MORE.  The program is totally useless.  What the h%+l is wrong with adobe?  At least I can still use Photoshop CC.  Anyone got a fix for this?

On Max OSX 10.8.5 I can not notice a dysfunctional Pen Tool so far.

  • AirportExpress - AirTunes doesn't work any more after wifi router change

    AirTunes doesn't work any more since I have changed my wifi router.
    I have fully reseted the AirportExpress station. I can see the AEX station in the drop down menu of iTunes but it can't connect.
    When I use Airfoil, all works fine.
    I have tried to trash to Airport preference file but this was unsuccessful as well

    Try the following steps and let me know if this works for you. 
    Press the wireless button on your printer, go to print reports, and select configuration.
    After you have that, we will need to access the printers Embedded Web Server (EWS). You can do so by entering the printers IP address (from the network configuration page) into your browsers address bar and pressing enter.
    Once there, press the "Network" tab at the top of the page. From there you will want to click the "IPv4" button, located on the lef-hand side of the page. It will be there for WIreless and Wired, so make sure to click the one for you however you are connected. If you do not see "IPv4", you should see "Networking", press that and then press "Network Address(IP)".
    Next, you will want to click the small round button next to "Manual IP Address" and then fill in the boxes for IP Address, Subnet Mask, and Default Gateway, using the information found on the network configuration page.  
    For the Primary or Preffered DNS Server, you will want to enter 8.8.8.8.
    For the Secondary or Alternate DNS Server, you will want to enter 8.8.4.4.
    Click apply and when the message pops up saying that the changes have been applied, press "OK". 
    Press the power button on your printer, wait for it to fully power off and then press it again to power it back on.
    After doing this, go ahead and try to enable ePrint again.

    After iTunes update to 11.1.3 my Home Sharing does not work any more!
    It worked just fine for several years...
    I tryed to do everything I could find on Apple support... NOTHING works.
    Most of Apple so called updates turn out real crap...
    I am wondering whats happening to Apple?...

  • Aperture 3.0.3 - MobileMe doesn't work any more

    F*!
    I have installed new Aperture update and since then I'm only having problems. First I had to repair my library. Fortunately worked.
    But the sync of my MobileMe galleries doesn't work any more. I try to start the sync manually but it doesn't work. I double click on the sync icon but nothing happens. New galleries do not sync, too.
    Aperture is really annoying. Every some weeks more trouble. Slow, not syncing, what will be next?
    Did you have the problems with MobileMe and Aperture? Any idea what to do?

    Actually lost some photos in my galleries after the update. I held down the Option and Command keys while starting APerture and repaired the library permissions and then resynced the galleries. One gallery was stubborn, I had to remove a photo from this gallery and then drag it back into the gallery. This allowed everything to update.

  • Mini displayport doesn't work any more

    My Mini Displayport doesn't work any more with VGA, DVi, just with the Apple Cinema Display. It started one week ago, I've tried many different monitors, but it seems to be that it only works with the Apple Cinema Display, Thunderbolt Ethernet Adapter is also accepted but nothing else. PRAM, SMC, booting from an Harddisk with Mavericks (I'm on 10.10.2), Safe Mode, nothing works. I have a Macbook Air, 11 " from Mid 2013, no warranty any more. Today I was at Bense, a german reseller (thank you guys for your effort), they did the same tests and some more, but also found nothing. Is there anyone with the same problems and a solution for it?

    Does it work on the other command key? I typically use the one to the left of the space bar, and at one point of time, it stopped working. but then i started to use the command key to the right of the keyboard which worked. but, then i started using the one that wasn't working, and just clicking slowly rather than quickly, and now it seems to work again. Don't know why . . . but that is what happened for me.

    I found out, that only on the US site Expert Mouse there is no software for Lion.
    (The one you can get there is from 2006!)
    But I found suitable TrackballWorks software on the Kensington UK site

    of 2010 and a Beta-version of July 2011.
    Since the 2010 version works fine under Lion I'm happy with it.
    I hope this will also help others with problems with old Kensington software.

  • Tabsontop console command doesn't work any more since v29.0.1

    I used to be able to put the tabs on the bottom where they belong using the console, and now this command doesn't do anything. I don't want to use Chrome, I want to use Firefox, just make it a default option instead of making me root around in console settings that don't even work any more.

    You do not need to install the Stylish extension to be able to do this.
    You can easily create a chrome folder in the Firefox profile folder and a userChrome.css file in this folder with the code.
    Note that you may need a higher number (CTR uses #TabsToolbar {-moz-box-ordinal-group: 100} and Tab on Bottom uses: #TabsToolbar {-moz-box-ordinal-group: 10000 !important;}) as there may still be toolbars around that use a higher value for this property.

  • Login to DPS doesn't work any more - waiting since 10 days for support

    10 days ago my login to Folio Producer didn't work any more - form one minute to next while working on a folio. I get a message that I need to contact support.
    I did this immediatly 10 days ago - but nothing happend until now. Meanwhile I phoned Adobe support and asked why they don't help me but they told me that I need to wait.
    The Adobe ID had been used for a professional DPS account until beginning of August but we did not renew the abo.
    We now use Creative Cloud. Today my next app was ready and I began to create the app (Single Edition with Creative Cloud).
    Then I noticed that the Adobe ID for which we have bought the Creative Cloud has no right to login to DPS, too!
    I'm hopeless!
    What can I do to get access to my Single Edition with Creative Cloud when the Adobe support ignores my case?
    Has anyone had a problem like this? Or is there anyone at Adobe who is able to help me? My customer is waiting for the app going online!

    When using DPS with CCM, you do not need to login to Folio producer anymore. From Folio Builder Panel in Indesign, go to Create App, that will launch DPS App Builder, login with your CCM id and create the App. The process has been simplified for CCM DPS customers.
    You can login to Folio Builder Panel using your new CCM id, use that to upload folios and then go to Create App from Folio Builder Menu.
    I also checked that you had a professional account which was closed. Have you use the same Adobe id to subscribe to CCM? Please send me a PM with all the details inluding your CCM id so that I can look into the issue.

    Since Adobe doesn't provide any help I have to turn to you now.
    It says: Error 150:30 - my licence isn't valid any more.
    For the record, I have InDesign CS4 and a Mac 10.7.5.

    1. Did your PC come with Snow Leopard or did you install it?
    2. Make sure the "mute" key is not pressed.
    3. Did this happen after installing a software update? Open software updates and under installed updates, was there an update installed around the time the audio stopped worked?

  • Pen Tool doesn't work on Video Tracks

    Hi there,
    Today I woke up and found that video tracks in my timeline I could no longer just grab the pen tool, click, and change the levels (such as manually configuring a fade in or out dissolve)
    There is just no line in the Video track where I can click and drag the levels up and down.
    But the pen tool still works in audio tracks. I can raise lower my volume no problem and also manually configure sound transitions.
    The only thing I can think of that I did was I used some h.264 video that had some frame blending in it (not sure what its called but were not every frame is Independent) but now when I go into any project including projects that I clearly used the pen tool before-- no go. The line for the level is just not there anywhere anymore.
    Anyone know what it is or if there is a setting that allows you to fudge with the video levels in the timeline. Maybe I disabled it somehow and need to re-enable it?

    I have just had the same problem thi fixed it for me:
    Right click on the clip, go to show clip keyframes, then select opacity. the opacity keyframe line appeared after i did that.

  • I have reinstalled CS5.1 extended on my new Lenovo Laptop with Win 8.1 64 bit. No installation problems, but now Image Adjustments and tools do not work any more.

    Operating Problem with CS5.1 extended. I replaced my old HP Laptop with a new Lenovo laptop with Win 8.1 and reinstalled CS5.1 64-bit version. The software downloaded and installed correctly and worked for a day, but when I rebooted the next day, the Image Adjustments and tools functions did not respond any more. I have uninstalled and redownloaded/ reinstalled without success.
