Pending charges for 6 days

I tried to purchase best buy gift cards and the order was canceled. They are still showing as pending charges in my bank account and I would like to know when that will be taken care of. It's been almost a week.

While an authorization request is not technically a charge, it can take up room on your credit card until it officially expires. The time frame for an authorization request to expire can differ from bank to bank, but it is usually about 3 to 5 business days. I looked over your order history and can see the order in-question was cancelled on 7/16/2015, so today would be the 3rd business day.
I would strongly suggest that we allow a full 5 business days for the authorization request to expire. My iPad 1st generation, has been charging for days......

My iPad 1st generation, has been charging for days and still shows dead battery... Tried to restore (which I was able to do in the past and was successful) and received an error saying something went wrong can not restore and went back to showing dead battery again. The battery is not dead... Any suggestions?

Could be the charger, cable or the iPad.
Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
And this - Unplug the charger from the iPad and then replug. May resume charging.
Or - Recalibrate the battery. See link below.
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). Safe To Leave It Charging All Day?

When you're not using a MacBook, say, for a few days, is it safe to leave it plugged in and charging? Is it possible to harm the MacBook by overcharging it?

hi there!
what happends when you charge the computer for a long time and its already at a near full charge, is that the computer and adapter go into a trickle charge mode. after the battery is charged to about 80%, the adapter doesn't do a full-blown charge, rather a slower, less power consuming charge. if the battery is full, it will still draw electricity to keep the battery at 100& constantly, not letting the battery charge ever drop below 100%.
also, if its worth mentioning, leaving the computer charged for days at a time can cause the battery to 'get used' to having a constant charge and eventually, it won't be able to hold a full charge because it won't know how!

I'm based in the UK but have recently purchased a USA Skype Number.
Despite having already been charged for the new (USA) Skype Number, it's been sat in 'pending' status for about 5 days.
Any suggestions? Skype customers support is non-existent hence the post here.

This is bad - I have an Apple automated response that they got my report on 12/6, 12/10 and 12/14, and I haven't heard anything from them since the 6th when I got one reply that told me to do things I tried before reporting the problem. Between the 6th and 10th I replied to their response 4 times and they ignored me, forcing me to report a problem with two more items that wont download but getting no response.
How do they get away with this kind of behavior, especially for someone with FIVE Core 2 Duo macs and thousands of dollars of of iTunes store purchases? I'm getting really ******.

If you are using the wall charger it is because your phone or charger is broken. If it is using a computer it is likely that the computer shuts off its USB ports when idle.

Have you made in-app purchases in the games ? Though the games may be free to download some then allow in-app purchases to unlock extra features or levels etc.
And/or did you add or change your credit card details on your iTunes account ? If you have then each time that you do so a small temporary store holding charge may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - read the page that you posted from for more info.

Digital Editions can open files of .pdf , .epub and .acsm format.
When you click on a download link from an online bookstore, a .acsm file gets downloaded to the "Downloads" folder of your computer. You need to double click on this .acsm file(if Digital Editions is already installed) to get the book. If you still get a message saying that your computer doesn't have a way to open this file, please manually associate Digital Editions to the .acsm file type OR open Digital Editions and drag and drop the .acsm file onto Digital Editions.

If you just get
It may mean that your Adapter is not giving enough juice, because
