People can't see my contact requests

The last 2 people I have tried sending contact requests to have not received them, and then whent hey search for me they can't find me. Is this a problem in my settings? I checked but couldn't find anything.

The Java compiler has a -target flag, so there wasn't a need for you to install JDK 1.4...
As for the MS JVM: it's only Java 1.1 compliant and a security problem. Tell him to install a Sun JRE, or restrict yourself to Java 1.1 classes (no Swing for instance) only.

Where can we see the deleted requests from the DSO

Hi all, i have deleted a red request in the DSO , which stopped the process chian, so i manuallly loaded DTP and activate , repeated the pc and its fine now, but i need the information regarding the red request i deleted from the requests tab, can u please help me finding where can we see the deleted requests from the DSO, thanks in advance...

Open the PC in SE38,goto PC logs on which day DTP failed.right click on DTP-->select Process monitor
Click on filter buttor>select last oneweek>Execute
Then select the failed request(It shows status as deleted) You find the details here itself -->take the request number from this
goto RSRQgive req id>Execute

The iPhone remembers information about previous contacts.
Complelely independently, you have a Contacts app with a contacts list. It sounds like your contacts list has 3 names on it. You need to add a few names.

Can not see my contacts in the "All" list

Couple of days ago I signed into my skype and I was not able to see any of my contacts in the "All contacts" list. I was able to find the contants in the "Online contacts" list (and they see me in their "All contacts" list. When I open a chat window with any of my online contacts I get the same message: "Name Lastname is not in your contact list." When I click "Add to contacts" button it dissapears but when I close and open the chat window again it comes back, and the contact does not receive the request. I am able to communicate with all my contats, it is just that I can not see any of them in my "All contacts" list. I have tried completely unistalling Skype and then istalling it again but it didn't help, I am also using the latest version.
Any help would be appriciated.

Sounds very simular to my experience starting yesterday.
Windows version 7 pro.
Skype version 7.4.64.102.
After a Windows update and reboot yesterday, I found my contact list is blank. I always keep the setting to show ALL contacts. After some quick investigations I have found:
If I change this setting to show skype contacts, the screen is blank
If I change this setting to show all contacts, the screen is blank
I am still getting notifications someone came online, although I cannot see them in the contact list since it is blank.
I can go to the recent contacts and the screen will populate
I can change the contacts to only show online and the screen will populate.
Signing out and signing back in, doesn't change anything.
Rebooting the computer doesn't change anything.

How come people can't see my pictures I send?

I am set up for unlimited text, picture mail, etc. through t-mobile but when I send a picture people tell me they can't see it.

If you email is working fine, then you likely have the BB Data Plan. No problem there.
Look at Options > Advanced > Service Books and see if you have two MMS Service Books, one for Client and one for Transport. If you do, scroll over each > menu > delete.
then go to Options > Advanced > Host Routing Table and press menu > Register. See if those two service books return AFTER you remove the battery (leave it powered ON) and reboot the device.
Try a MMS message again.

Can't see Facebook contacts in Skype

Hi!
I have recently connected my MSN account to my Skype ID.
After that i also have tried to connect my Facebook to Skype so i could chat with my Facebook contacts from Skype. That had worked for a week or two, but now i cant find out what the problem is, there is none people showing under Facebook contacts
Yes, I have allowed the Skype application on Facebook. I Also have try to remove this and add again.
Yes, I can see my timeline on Skype from Facebook.
But I can NOT see any persons online from Skype contacts under Facebook.
What could the solutions be?

I have the same problem, I cannot connect to anyone in facebook. I keep being told to reconnect to facebook, but with no joy. What is going on as we used to be able to see and connect to them.

So several people have the same problem but only one useless suggestion I have the same problem at the moment using a pc in a different country to my home where I use a MACA, but I have done this dozens of times before. I am surprised that no-one from Skype helps people in the Skype community. Whats the point if it just for non experts to complain to each other. So if anyone from Skype the company readng this GET REAL WHY IS YOUR SERVICE SO BAD? WHY CAN WE NOT GET ONLINE AS NORMAL ? Makes you want to use an alternative service like viber or facetime.

Can not see the contacts in E63 mobile phone

Hi,
I amusing E63 mobile phone. I am not been able to view the contacts in the mobile, so not been able to use the same. But when an incoming call comes in I do get the name resolution of the person calling and his mobile no which is stored in the contacts.
I tried backing up the mobile and all the time the backup of contacts could not happened and besides Contacts rest all is backed up....
Pls do let me know how to resolve this issue..

Welcome to the forum, your contacts are on the sim card and they will need to be either copied to Contacts on your phone for easy access.
It is not clear from your description what could be causing this issue, so I will present a couple of possibilities. The first is that the contacts that you cannot see are stored on the SIM card and not in the phone memory, to remedy this you can follow these steps to copy your contacts into the phone memory:
Menu>Communic.>Contacts>Options>SIM contacts>SIM directory>Options>Mark/Unmark>Mark all>Options>Copy to Contacts
If this is not the case, and if after selecting Contacts you see the options Go Online and ChatServiceBuddy, it means that the ”Ovi Contacts Chat” service is selected as the default view. This service has been discontinued and replaced by Nokia’s new Chat service powered by Yahoo. You can set your default Contacts view back to the contact information stored in your phone by following these steps:
•Select Menu>Communic.>Contacts
•Press the left navigation key to select the central field at the top of the screen, then press the centre of the navigation key to open the menu, and finally select Phone
•You should now see the contacts stored in phone memory. To make this the default view, select Options>Settings>Default contact list>Phone
If you are interested in the new Chat application, you can switch the Contacts view back to the Ovi Contacts view, select Go Online and sign in with the same user identity and password that you use to log into this forum. Your phone would then remind you that Ovi Contacts Chat is discontinued and take you through the steps to download and install the new Chat application. We would recommend that you use a WLAN connection for this.
If the two suggestions above do not resolve your issue, we can investigate further.
Out of interest, when you say that creating a back-up did not successfully back-up contacts, do you mean that you created the back-up with Nokia Suite and the report displayed at the end of the process indicated an error? If there was no error during the back-up process, it is likely that the back-up was successful and we still need to work out whý the information is not appearing in your phone.

Look in whatever application you were syncing them to. Windows Address Book or Outlook. Contacts are not stored in iTunes. It only acts as a conduit to sync them to a compatible address book.

Can't see synched Contacts in Palm Vx

I have never been able to see my contacts/addresses on my Palm Vx (OS 3.5.3) after I sync with Palm Desktop (v. 4.1.4). When I check App-Info-Records, the list shows 595 records, which jibes with what I have on the desktop. But when I open the address book on the Vx, it shows only the six that were already on the handset (e.g., accessories, Palm technical support, etc.), or that I entered directly there. Curiously, the relevant address categories show up on the Vx, but the addresses are not visible.
If I try to beam an address category to another handheld, it says the category is empty or the records are marked private. Now, they're not marked private on Desktop, and they're not masked on the Vx. Why can't I see them?
Also, the entries in the memo pad, to-do list and date book from the desktop all show up on the Vx. So why don't the addresses?
The Vx was empty before I dusted it off, installed desktop 4.1.4 on a computer running XP, transferred all my addresses and calendar info from old Starfish Sidekick files, and synched. Again, everything shows up fine on the desktop, and everything except the addresses shows up on the Vx. And this isn't a "home addresses not supported" issue; I can't see any of those contacts at all. On HotSync -- neither synchronizing nor "desktop overwrites handheld" under Contacts and Addresses makes a difference. Log lists everything OK.
Any thoughts? Thanks in advance for any help.

Is there more than one user account set up in Palm Desktop? If so, is the correct user name showing in the top corner that matches your device?
Have you tried setting the conduit to Desktop Overwrites Handheld for one Hotsync?
