Accedently I pressed on the voiceover bottom and then I opened the help windows and pressed it off again but still
when I start the laptop this man start talking, just explaining every thing like I was blind. Can u guys please help me
with this. just tell me how can i permanently turn it off.

I am trying to put a banner on my website for my exam.... It will have to have an image with logos flashing across and stopping for a few seconds before carrying on.and out the other side. I have looked up everywhere to see how this is done but with no joy. There is lots of info out there but it is not working for me. In Flash i have no problem creating a banner image with various logos moving from one side to the other or even changing the image from one shape to another or bouncing it up and down the stage from one side to the other. I can even stagger the timelines for the logos to make them enter one after the other. The one thing i can not get to grips with is making the images stop or pause after they have entered from one side before exiting the other side. I have followed step by step many youtube tutorials but the authors are wizzing through them too fast and despite folling every step second by second, i am missing a vital step somewhere. Would someone please let me know step by step (and please assume i am an idiot when doing this) the sequence i must follow from the very begining to the last step when i publish.

Help (again) with Average Script
Hi Everyone:
I have problems again with a script in calculation manager:
I need to calculate the average of a member in one account across the year. For example, for Jan the average of Count_1 is equal to the value of Count_2 in Jan; for Feb Count_1 is equal to the sum of values of Jan and Feb from Count_2 divided for 2; for Mar Count_1 is equal to the sum of values of Jan, Feb and Mar from Count_2 divided for 3 and so on.
I'm using the follow script:
*"Count_1"=@AVGRANGE(SKIPNONE,"Count_2",@CURRMBRRANGE("YearTotal",LEV,0, ,0));*
But this script is averaging bad, because what it does for January is to take the January value and divide by two, to sum the values in February January and February and divide by 3, to sum the values in March, January, February and March and divided by 4 and so on.
How i can solve this problem and make a script that works?

- Your friends IMessage is not activated (you have to activiate it with your apple id)

Make sure your wireless settings are personalized, try using channel 11 and when you go to advanced wireless settings, try setting the beacon interval to 50 instead of 100.
On how to do the things mentioned in the 2nd paragraph, open up IE and type on the address bar the numbers 192.168.1.1 (username leave it blank, password as a default is admin). Go the the Wireless tab. -

That is absolutely impossible. Siri requires an iPhone 4S or later.
if your friend really does have Siri working on an earlier iPhone, it was in fact jailbroken, and you will get no help from this forum at all. -

Check your braces for your 'if' statements. I don't think they are what you intended. You only update carmake if the car is a mercedes.

How to Edit with Multiple People - HELP
We used to be a small, 1-guy editing operation. But now we are huge (joke) and have 3 guys doing editing on an ongoing kids program.
I need some help with how to effectively edit the same program with 3 different people editing.
I assume that it's impossible for all 3 editors to edit the same project file simultaneously, right? That would be ideal as long as each person is working on a different scene, but even then, I'm sure it would introduce all kinds of problems.
So I'm left pondering the best way to edit one large program (1-hour in final length) between multiple people. The best method I've come up with to this point is to split my project up into 5 individual PP projects broken down by general scene categories.
That way each person can work on the "same" project/episode, but yet be working off of separate files, thus avoiding syncing problems.
But this only seems like a bandaide to our situation, especially if we bring on a couple more editors in the future.
Any suggestions on working on the same project/episode at the same time between multiple people?There was a recent thread on similar issues. I don't have this situation (one man shop), but one aspect of the "import sequences" to a master gets my attention. I was starting to do this for my own projects (e.g. a season's worth of ball games where you want to do individual gamnes as well as a highlight of the season). One project for it all gets rather complicated, and it seemed simple to import key sequences into another project. But...
A) This is not a dynamic link, but an import. The whole project (or whole sequence(s) your choice) come in, inside a new bin. changes in the other sequence are not updated in the master, so you need to be finished in the imported sequence - or be prepared to import again and redo any transition work.
B) When you import, even though all the clips are from a shared pool, Premiere creates new instances in the imported bin. Even if you offline and relink (so you don't literally need multiple clips on disk), they are still multiple instances in the bins. As long as you don't plan on using work on clips in other sequences/projects, it really won't matter. But, for example, if editor A adds markers to Clip 1 in their project, and you import their project to the master project, Clip 1 in editor B's project imported to the master will not hve the marker set by editor A,
All logical really, but it limits this as a workaround to making Premiere work as a shared editor. -

I'm in a bit of a pickle.....
My company had ANOTHER round of layoffs last Monday... and cut everyone's salary another 10%. On top of that, they cut us down to 4 days a week which is essentially a 30% cut.
So I'm job hunting and desperate. Some questions for you.
1. What's a good way to negotiate on salary?
2. I had two interviews this week. The first one will pay me over what I am making on 4 days a week, but less than my full-time salary even after the 10% reduction. But there is a lot I can learn from this company and possibly grow and make more money in the future. 20 people, bonus structure, etc.
3. The interview I had today. It's 7 people out of a duplex. They say they've been around 10 years and I met the CEO's wife, she has a fat ring, so they must be doing well. They don't seem like con artists, but I'm a little iffy about it. They will pay me closer to what I want, but I have no one I can learn from there.
4. How do you negotiate salary if you're unemployed? that is a very real possibility soon...

I recently worked for a small publishing company that had nation wide distribution. 2 years ago a very large corporation took over the fairly successful business from the original proprietor who had been running the business for over 20 years. The corporation made many changes to the way we worked however the structuring did little to affect the creative environment that we worked in. Many of these changes were very costly and in the end they dramatically affected the company's profit. This allowed the corporation to claim that we were now failing as a business. In an 'effort to save their investment' they closed the doors here and moved the companies operations to their headquarters in southern California.
5 of the 50 employees here were offered relocation packages and I was one of the 5. They were offering to pay a substantial relocation package in addition to doubling my current salary. In the end I decided not to take their offer, as did 3 of the others. There were a few issues that helped me reach that decision.
First, the decision to move the company to Southern California was saving little money. The only jobs it saved were of those in upper management. The little guys at the bottom will take the cuts, the CEOs and VPs will continue to get their bonuses.
Second, I visited the offices down there. They paid all expenses for my family... Thanks for the free trip to Disneyland (if they happen to read this lol)
The working environment was ... very formal. Graphic Designers do not need to wear suits to work. It does nothing to help promote the creativity required in such a job.
Finally, my forsight paid off: Currently the corporation is filing for bankruptcy. Which means that soon 1000+ folks will probably be out of jobs as they close their doors forever. (In the current economy thats just a drop in the bucket)
My decision has left me competing with my former co-workers for the few jobs in the area. Seeing them leaving interviews I'm entering is always fun.
I have no real desire to relocate so my options are limited.
To put this all in relation to you:
Do you like your current job? If so, can you afford to live with your reduced salary? Are you vital enough to avoid the next round of cuts if they do indeed come? Do you forsee your current company closing up shop? As the economy improves (and it will) do you feel your current company will be able to recover quickly?
Finding another job that pays more doesn't mean it will be able to continue to. Do your homework about the companies you are applying to. Not only will it help you know if you truely want to work for them, but it will also help you during the interview process.
Also, finding a job that you enjoy (atleast 50% of the time) going to is another issue. Far to often people hate their jobs. They may enjoy what they do, but they hate where they work. I've had that experience to many times and I'd gladly work for less somewhere I am happy showing up at. -
Share to YouTube: yellow triangle "1 warning" - Russ H, please help again
This is my third call for help regarding FCPX 10.0.9 with OSX 10.9. Russ H has kindly solved my previous problems. I am new to FCP so have the novice's usual questions and problems.
First I could not "share" at all. Russ suggested that I deactivate auto rendering, start a new project, and copy the old one into the new timeline. It worked nicely while "sharing" into a DVD. Great.
However. when I tried for more and wished to "share" the 40' project to YouTube, first I got - as nearly everybody else, judging by this discussion :-) - the famous "QuickTime error -50". I promptly responded by preventing App Nap, and ... I got (during the next "share") a yellow triange with "1 warning" on the "share" screen. As the result of all my experiences, I tried everything together, including the first workaround with a new project. No result. Now, I keep the App Nap deactivated all the time.
Is there any hope, at least a method to find out what and where is the clip/frame with "1 warning" ? Or is it something else ?
P.s.1. I am new to FCPX but have incidents of a long but not continous history of editing on "IBM compatibles" with accelerators like Canopus Raptor, starting with Adobe Premiere 5.5 and 6. Those unforgettable edits and projects were punctuated by a crash (or more) a day and equally continous frustrations. About 6-7 years ago, after a pause, I had a few peaceful and satisfactory years with Adobe Premiere Elements 9 on a fast Sony VAIO laptop. Now I have an iMac (27', 2.93 GHz, i7, 12 Gb), FCPX and ...the same frustrations as 20+ years ago. My life is interesting again !
P.s.2. Yesterday, I had the 10.9.1 update installed to my OSX. No change.

I do have a few expanded frozen frames (I read about them as a potential problem) and more than just minimal edition of audio, including several "narration/voice overs" done outdoors with a camcorder and then imported. All material has been colour balanced and several clips have been stabilised. The rest was just cut and paste.

Nice People HELP ME!!! IPv6 over PPPoE Configuration on Cisco 7206VXR
I have a 7206VXR which connects to a DSLAM via the router's ATM/DS3 interface. A CPE home router connects to the DSLAM. So it's like:
PC -----ethernet---- CPE Router ------ dsl line ------ DSLAM ----- atm/pppoe ------- BVI/Virtual-Template/PPPoE on Cisco 7206VXR
Now the problem is:
- PC CAN ping the BVI interface of Cisco, but NOT beyond that. For instance he can't ping 7206's loopback ipv6 address.
- I found something interesting on the CPE, that CPE itself can't ping BVI interface of Cisco, AND it doesn't have a default gateway ::/0 set on itself. I manually added a default router like "route -A inet6 add ::/0 gw <BVI's IPv6 addr>", and the problem got solved and PC can ping Cisco's loop back IP now. But this is not a solution since I want this thing to be automatically ready.
Note both CPE and PC are happy with global IPv6 addressed assigned.
I believe this problem is related to how PPPoE/IPCPv6 handles addresses and prefixes.

please help?Take it off manual update. Repeat the process. If it still doesn't work, try turning off album artwork, unplugging the iPod, then plug it back in, and put it on disk mode. Then unplug it again, then plug it in again, and check artwork.

Help Again: uninstall/repair Photoshop in CS4
As suggested a month ago, I inserted installer, but no where is there an "options screen" from which to > "custom detail>PS4 repair. On the installer is : Adobe CS4: deployment, extensions, payloads, redist,resources, WinBootstrapper Setup.exe ; then a folder for Autoplay, and single Autoplay.exe, AUTORUN. INF and 3 versions of CS4 Design Standard read me, and unicows.dll.
That's it.
What do I do now?. As previously stated, PS and my photo printer have issues, and tech strongly blamed PS for the spooling problem and I'd like to try to "repair" PS, but how do I?
And next, Read Me suggests a simple "uninstall" from Vista by way of Control Panel, but next, if I did that, how would I reinstall just PS after that? <sigh>
Appreciate the help. Haven't been able to get to this problem 'till now, and I wait with baited breath to get all playing nice again.....
Update 2: Nuts. I just did a check on Control Panel and Adobe CS4 Design Standard is all one thing. Looks like I'd have to remove all and then reinstall all again. Right?
So there goes, InDesign, Illustrator, Bridge, Acrobat 9 and Media Player. That's a mess. It'll take me a lot of time to check and resave all work from those other 5 programs. There must be a better way to do this, is there? Hope I''ve missed something...................thanks so much....mm..Microsoft XPS is similar in concept to Adobe PDF. You can Print to an XPS file using the Microsoft XPS writer.
Unfortunately, the XPS Viewer seems to be a Windows 7 improvement, so it might not be quite so simple for you to try to use XPS format. I just tried it on one of my Vista systems, and I was able to open an XPS file in Internet Explorer. What I don't know is whether if you do this you can get anything like what you want with your borderless printing using this process:
1. Print to the Microsoft XPS Writer.
2. Save the .xps file in a temporary folder.
3. Double-click the .xps file from within Explorer.
4. In whatever app opens, File - Print.
In Windows 7, step 2 leaves you with the Microsoft XPS Viewer open, and you could print to a real printer directly from there, so it would be a much more direct process. It's been a while since I used Vista daily and I hadn't recalled exactly what XPS features were available in Vista.
