Hello, I want to add an item that is not listed in the LOV for when adding an item to a template. Specifically i want to add fields from the Personal Analysis KFF (Office Location, Mailstop etc) to this template.

Failed to Install the "Oracle Web Services Manager Configuration Assistant"

The installation of "Oracle Web Services Manager Configuration Assistant" was failed when I installed the "Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.1.0" ,and the failure information about the installation in the log show as follows, I need your help,thanks a lot!

Issue in Customize Clearance check list under the People Management form

Dear
We are on 11.5.10, we have created NEW template as "EXIT CHECK LIST" of People management, in which we have configured our own list which are mentioned below as example.
Check List
Name Date Status
IT Department user_input manually Verified/Pending
Finance user_input manually Verified/Pending
Human Resource user_input manually Verified/Pending
Now issue is, when head of above department change their corresponding record and successfully being update but system update last_updated_by column in all above three records who perform update/change record very last although he updated only IT record.
Therefore, we are not able to get their concern department Name in last updated by due to this issue.
Pls advice.

we handled similar situation through personalization as follows:
1a. Write the validation condition in personalization on WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE of ORDER Block.
Through actions, display error message and disable Book button.
1b. Write the negative of validation condition in personalization on WHEN-NEW-RECORD-INSTANCE of ORDER Block.
Through actions, enable Book button.
2. Disable Book order button in LINES Block
3. Train the users to enter the order header first, order line next and then come back to header and click book (if allowed).

"Enterprise manager configuration failed due to the ff... 11 g/windows 7

I get this error message, when using DBCA to create a database. Please help! Studying on my own for OCA.
Error message : "Enterprise manager configuration failed due to the following error - Listener is not up or database service is not registered with it. Start the listener and register database service and run EM Configuration Assistant again."
I did the following :
(1)Checked listener service properties and found that the path to executable was
driveletter:\app\product\11.1.0\db_2\bin\oracle.exeoca11g
I change the path above to what is listed below:
driveletter:\app\product\11.1.0\db_2\bin\tnslsnr
I updated :HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\OracleOCA11gTNSListener
image file to reflect the change .
I got the above suggestion from a blog. Not sure if it is right or wrong, but it seems logical. However, it did not resolve my issue
(2) I ran the emca script in db_home/bin directory as suggested by the warning message in DBCA wizard. Reboot my PC. Still no luck.
(3) I open DBCA to verify the database(via delete) is created, and yes it is .
I open EM and attempted to log into the tool as Sys/sysdba user. I get username and/or password are invalid error message. URL: https(strike-through)localhost://158/em/console/logon/logon
I can connect to SQl plus as either a sys/sysdba user but into EM.

Aaaah! I do not like the sound of this. Oracle enterprise edition does not support windows home edition and Oracle XE does not have DBCA included.
Ok, so this is a road block, please suggest alternative routes.

Enterprise manager configuration error: error instantiating OC4J Files

Good day to all.
Its my first time to install Oracle 11g on my Windows 7 computer.
After i installed and configured the database, i get this following error , so i can't go through the Enterprise Manager.
Enterprise Manager Configuration failed due to the following error - Error instantiating OC4J Configuration files
So i checked the emConfig.log for error details, and i found out that i have some several files missing, in which i checked the folder also.
I don't know why these files are missing.

IT seems that the folder OC4J_DBConsole\config\ does not contain any xml files.!
Prior to this, i get some files that are not found error when running the SETUP, there are several of them, i just pressed CONTINUE in
order to finish the installation.
Hope anyone can give me a good advice and help so that i can start to run Enterprise Manager and to learn how to get around with database creation and configuration

I checked out the installation logs in the Logs directory, i can the error log (oraInstall2012-06-05_12-36-49PM.err) . which contains many errors:

According to your description, my understanding is that you got an error when you configured Workflow Manager for SharePoint 2013.
For resolving your issue, please do as the followings:
1.Start -> Programs -> Workflow Manager 1.0 -> Workflow Manager Configuration -> Remove from Farm (not to be confused with SharePoint “farm”)
2.Drop SQL databases for Workflow Manager. (SbGatewayDatabase, SbManagementDB, SBMessageContainer01, WFInstanceManagementDB, WFManagementDB, WFResourceManagementDB)
3.Start-> Programs-> Workflow Manager 1.0 -> Workflow Manager Configuration -> Configure Workflow Manager with Default Settings (Recommended)
4.Ran the wizard just like before and it should be completed successfully this time.

1941W configuration help needed

Our Deployment Scenario:-
1941W Gigabit Ethernet 0/0 is connected to the PPOE connection of the ISP.
Gigabit Ethernet 0/1 is connected to the wired LAN
I have created 2 wireless radio Cisco_Kamran_BGN which is operating at 2.4 Ghz Devices and Cisco_Kamran_A which is operating at 5Ghz Devices.
I have created 2 VLans for the Wireless.
Vlan 10 for Cisco_Kamran_A        192.168.10.x
Vlan 11 for Cisco _Kamran_BGN   192.168.11.X
The problem is the Wireless users are not getting the IP address from the respective DHCP server which has been configured on the Router.
Can please any from the community help me and show me where I am missing the configuration.

System registered in SLD invisible in solution manager configuration

I have installed Solution Manager EHP1 / Oracle 10g / Win2003 on a VM. I ran into a issue in the Managed system configuration. The first step in the maanaged system configuration would help us select the satelllite systems which and configured in the SLD. Since systems were not yet added to SLD just the solution manager system shows up.
Here is the problem
I have added one system to the SLD using "Add Technical system" from http://localhost:50000/sld. This is a ABAP sysystem. The addition went through successfully however this does not reflect when I check the same in solution manager configuration "Managed system configuration"
As per the guide in the same page, I have checked on "Maintain Technical systems" Here too when I search for the system I created in SLD , I am not able to find it. Is there another way of manually maintaining the system in the SLD?
Any ideas as to why this might happen? Does one have to bounce the instance after adding systems to SLD/.... just wondering?

Thanks for your response however I fixed it. It looks like I had incorrectly mentioned the host in RZ70. Instead of mentioning the hostname of the solution manager I had mentioned the host name of the satellite system

Follow the same steps which mentioned for SP12, as per my understanding there is not much difference in basic configuration of solution manager 4.0.
Create systems in SMSY, RFC connections, create logical system, create project, activate charm, these are the basic steps.
You will get information on this on saphelp and also go through the solman rkt (service.sap.com/rkt),
sap market place  sap support infrastructure  solution manager  media library (u will find all documents)
Even they gave given the charm configuration guide for SP12, u will find that in technical papers.

1) In the nodemanager.properties I have added the ListenAddress:myMachineName and ListenPort: 5556
My setup : One physical Linux machine(myMachineName) has : WLS admin server, managed server(OAM 11G) and nodemanager.No clustered environment.
2) nodemanager.log has the following exception when I start the oam_server1 using EM(Enterprise Manager11g):

Default port on which node manager listen for requests is localhost:5556.I have changed it to point to my machine. The port should be of WLS admin server or it should be the managed server port?
3) I have started the NodeManager using the startNodeManager.sh script.
4) The admin server port is 7001 and the oam managed server port is 14100.
Any inputs on what might be wrong in the setup will be helpful.Thanks !

By using netstat -anp|grep 5556 you can check which process on your machine is using the 5556 port.

As of that I'm pretty sure that it's related to a SQL Issue. I think it's related to SQL performance, as the server is available and can be reached:

Hi,
You may need to check whether your SQL server which hold SCOM database has any performance issue. You can restart related SQL services and system center management configuration service. In addition, please check operation manager event logs on management
server and find out is there any error messages related.
