People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version

i am using sharepoint 2010 and windows authentication
recently i have updated my ie to ie11 and problem goes here.
when i try to select from people picker, there are an unexpected error happened
however when i use other ie version, people picker work fine, what goes wrong?
i have already added my system as trusted site
if there any others thing i miss out?

According to your post, my understanding is that People picker is not working for ie11 but working fine for other lower version.
IE 11 is known to have compatibility issues on SharePoint 2010, please make sure to:
first of all, try installing latest update for IE 11 (several compatibility issues were fixed since the first release)
add the site to compatibility view (in IE> Tools> Compatibility view settings> type site name> add)
add the site to trusted sites and set the zone security level to low (in IE> Internet Options> Security> trusted sites> sites>add your site there> ok> custom level> select low> reset> ok)
You can use developer tools (f12) and set browser mode to the version that is most compatible with your environment.

Youtube videos suddenly will not show in IE, but are fine in other browsers

I did an update to my website, didn't like it and backed the changes out. When I tested it in Oera, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, the two Youtube videos on my home page render fine, but when I look at the page in IE 7 or 9 I get the red X. Any ideas. The chnage I made that I backed out was my Twitter feed. I thought maybe changing the the left sidebar width affected the videos in the content are, but I have played with the sidebar width and to no avail. Any advise would be greatly aprreciated. Motion tracking is not working for videos but works for images. When the videos is drop onto the tracking object the videos corner don't appear highlighted. I am working on windows 7 with version 13.1.

First, see this discussion. If the solution suggested there doesn't work for you, continue.
If you've installed a Mail plugin called "Mail Unread Menu" and you know how to remove it, please do that, then quit and relaunch Mail. Test. Otherwise, see below.
Back up all data.
1. Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:

Airplay works with Remote but cuts out for every other App

The "new" hotmail no longer works with safari, but works with firefox. Hmm. i find this very convenient being a microsoft product. anybody else wonder why this new version happens to not be safari compatible? does anybody know if it works on the PC version of safari? if not, i find this to be a blatant move on microsofts part to bias the safari browser (especially since its basicly new on the window platform). forcing safari/hotmail users to "have" to use another browser to access their hotmail accounts.

I have been successfully using Hotmail and Gmail with Safari for a long time. For roughly the past month, that relationship is rocky at best. At times, one of the following actions suddenly opens Hotmail, but it is a short-lived solution:
(a) Hotmail directly
(b) Hotmail Home>Hotmail
(c) Sign up to Windows Hotmail
(d) Deletion of prescribed cookies, resetting, etc. - made no difference
Both Firefox and Opera work fine with Hotmail - especially Opera is very fast.
In addition, Safari and Gmail does not work with Attachments, but otherwise Gmail is OK.
I suspect I have to wait for a Safari fix because in my case I do not wish to abandon Hotmail, and Safari is a given. I would think that Safari would want to stay competitive with the two biggies, Hotmail and Gmail, which must have large numbers of users.
I certainly would appreciate any other suggested fixes.

Actually there is an extended policy introduced with one of the previous cumulative update.
Having applied the latest CU on both server and the clients, IgnoreEnableP2PVideoPolicyInConf policy would enable the exact behaviour.
Before running the cmdlet below for a client policy, please confirm that that AllowIPVideo is set to True and EnableP2PVideo is set to False for that user.
set-csclientpolicy IgnoreEnableP2PVideoPolicyInConf -PolicyEntry @{add=New-CsClientPolicyEntry -Name IgnoreEnableP2PVideoPolicyInConf -Value 1}

There are two places where vibrations can be set.
One is the Settings > Sounds
The other area is Settings > Notifications
If you have an app set to Alert, it may have a vibration set for it.

Iphone not being recognized by Itunes for MAC; But works in Windows Vista

Hi,
My iphone sync with Windows without problems.
But when I plug my iPhone in MAC (10.5.5) with Itunes (8.0.2) the iTunes return: itunes could not connect to the iphone 0xE8000001
It is strange because iPhone connect with iPhoto without problems.
Just iTunes for mac dont work.
This is a brand new minimac.
Any tips?

Which USB port are you connecting it to?
iPhoto will transfer over a USB 1.1 connection, and many hubs are USB 1.1. Try connecting the iPhone directly to the back of the computer.

Airplay not working for audio but works for video and win7?

Right now I can't seem to get airplay to function correctly on my new macbook air (os x 10.7.1).
My current hardware:
Intel Core i5 Macbook Air 1.7Ghz 13"
Airport Extreme (current generation - 5th)
Apple TV 2
Airport Express
All updated to latest version (OS X 10.7.1, iTunes 10.5, updated airport express & extreme and apple tv 2 - don't remember version #s - sorry)
Symptoms:
In iTunes, I can select either the Apple TV 2 or Airport Express.
When I do, a window pops up with a loading bar, "Connecting to Apple TV" (or Airport Express). This never goes away/connects.
If instead of audio, I try and stream a video to the ATV2, it connects and works instantly.
I can switch quickly from video to audio and it will transmit fine for the duration of that song.
The ATV2 can see and connect to my itunes library and stream music through homesharing (i.e. selecting the music through the ATV2 as opposed to sending it through airplay from itunes)
Itunes running on my fiance's laptop (HP Win7, itunes 10.5) can airplay to each of these devices flawlessly.
Any ideas? I've confirmed that home sharing is turned on. Airplay is turned on. (this is true for the macbook air, apple tv, and airport express). Firewall on or off on the macbook air doesn't have an effect on this issue. I've also reset and reconfigured the Airport Extreme, Apple TV 2, and Airport express. I don't want to yet on the macbook - this problem existed from day 1 and I'd rather not do a full reset/restore on the laptop if I don't need to.

Well if it works from one browser it would seem likely that the code you are using to create the file is OK. So I would concentrate on what is different between the browsers, so that will be Mime type management and security.
Your mime type def seems to be OK but it may be the mapping that IE is using that is broken
IE will take the mime type mapping from the registry so it may be worth trying IE from another machine just in case there is something screwy there. Also if you're on Windows 7 make sure that the Zip has not been "blocked" - save it to disk on the client, select the file and choose properties from the context menu - see if it says blocked in the Attributes section.

Hi I am new to this forum and am asking for your help. We are sharing a computer, the PrtSc key is working for the Administrator but not when we switch users. We have tried everything that we can think of: From opening a the page(S) we want to paste to not opening the pages. My most common usage is to PrtSc and paste it into an email , but barring that we have tried opening a page in notes, documents, word etc . Nothing seems to work. I do not get an error message , it just won't paste. Since we are not computer literate we are hoping you can help us with a solution . Thanks in Advance .

[SOLVED] Since updating to Java 1.6.0_33 on my MacBook running OSX 10.6.8, websites say Java not installed in Firefox, but works in Chrome

I work for User Testing, which uses a Java-based screen recorder to make videos of people using commercial websites and offering spoken feedback on the site. Since installing the Java 1.6.0_33 update for Snow Leopard on my MacBook, the User Testing screen recorder does not recognize that Java is installed, and won't work.
If I switch to Chrome, all works smoothly. I have the latest version of Firefox, and have installed the latest updates. I have opened Java Preferences in my Utilities, and made sure that the checkbox "Enable applet plug-in and Web Start applications" is checked. I have cleared the cache and cookies in Firefox. The problem still persists.
User Testing says no other Mac users have reported the problem, and so they cannot help me. I rely on a Firefox add-on that is not available for Chrome to notify me of new User Testing jobs (which are normally claimed in seconds), so it is not practical for me to simply switch to Chrome or another browser.
Interestingly, when checking my plugins in order to fill out the information required below in this help request, I was sent to a Firefox page that says "For your safety, Firefox has disabled your outdated version of Java. Please upgrade to the latest version."
When I click the link, it says that Apple supplies its own version of Java, which of course I have already installed. Guess this is the root of the problem, but how do I fix it?
EDITED TO ADD SOLUTION:
After even more Googling, I eventually stumbled on the solution. In the Firefox menu, I chose Help>Troubleshooting Information, and clicked "Show in Finder" under Application Basics. I then quit Firefox, clicked on the Profile folder, deleted the file "pluginreg.dat", and restarted Firefox. Java now shows up among my plugins, and is enabled by default. The failure of pluginreg.dat to update automatically was supposed to be an old Firefox problem that has been solved, but apparently that is not always the case.

I think you have to go to the java website and down load the version you need and enable it in firefox's prefrences
Sorry I may be a veteran in using firefox, but I know very little since I hardly had problems with mozilla untill just very recently hope this helps
