applying EOY Phase 1 we are exploring possible alternative

Deposit Advice will continue to be supported. What this means is that
new code changes and bug fixes will not be tested on the Live
Checkwriter and Deposit Advice. Additionally, enhancements made to the
Archive version will NOT be made for the Live version.
    Desupport of Standard Tax Interface
Oracle no longer supports the Standard Tax interface. Taxes will
continue to be calculated and tax rate changes from the Vertex Data
Updates will continue. New code changes and bug fixes will not be tested
on the Standard Interface and we cannot guarantee that all functionality
will continue to work. Additionally, enhancements made to taxes will NOT
be made for the Standard Tax Interface. We strongly recommend that you
upgrade immediately to the Enhanced Tax interface.

  • Where to get new cord for North American wall outlet (110V) for macbook pro 2011?

    Hello, all.
I work in Korea, bought a macbook pro here.  It's really great but I have a problem -- I need a standard north american, three pronged, power cord which will run from the wall outlet to the 60v mag adapter, as the wall outlets here are different than in North America and I will be returning there shortly.
I have only been able to find total adaptor replacements or what looks to be cables for older adapters.  I would like to avoid having to replace the entire adaptor as it works fine -- i just need a cable that will plug into it and a standard, three prong, north american outlet.
Does Apple sell just the cable that precedes the adaptor?  I have been unable to find one if so...
    Please help!
    Thanks,
    Mertcrimmer

  • Can PeopleSoft act as a Identity Provider for Federation?

    Hi All,
We would like to know about a trust federation (SSO) with PeopleSoft and following is my question:
Can we use PeopleSoft as a Identity Provider for Federation Scenarios? we would like to onboard PeopleSoft as a Identity Provider for Microsoft ADFS v2, in this regard we want to know whether PeopleSoft expose a FederationMetadata.XML to any Federation Service providers that are there in exisisting market...?
ADFS : Active Directory Federation Services
    Thanks & Regards,
    VDeevi.

As of SAP IdM 7.20 (which runs as a component on the SAP Java Application Server) SAML 2.0 as identity provider is supported.
So it is not just any SAP J2EE system (e.g. EP) and also not all releases.
I was also disappointed by this

    Hello Payroll Experts,
    Greetings!
We are having problems for 2 of our Ireland Based Employees.
The Below is the step wise details of the issue:
=> Employee has left the Organisation in the month of 21st October'08.

=> While running the November Month Payroll, this employee has been
picked by the payroll again & the system is calculating the Retro and
have given the wrongly calculated days back (21st Oct - 31st Oct'08).
=> Even the Pension refund has been given.

Could you please help us to find out why this issue is happening.
    Thank you in Advance
    Best Regards

  • Can I swap North American power plug on ipod charger for European one??

    Hi there.
My sister is taking her 5th Gen iPod to Russia from Canada (we use North American Standards for plug shape and 110 voltage, for US users interest).
I am curious if she can purchase (online or in Russia) an adapter for the prong portion (that can be removed) of the iPod power adapter to fit that region of the world.
The voltage portion (going from 110V to 220V) is taken care of by the power adapter itself.
I am assuming there is not an Apple store in Moscow (yet) but Heathrow Airport (on the way there) may have Apple products?
    Any thought would be great.
    Thanks.

Apple sell an international travel kit for the adapter but it's a bit pricey especially if you don't need a full set of plugs: Apple World Travel Kit

Do you even know how to nuke and re-set Photoshop's preferences, colorplak?  Your last post seems to reveal that you don't understand what I'm talking about. Here's a link you can click on:
Preference file functions, names, locations | Photoshop CC
To re-create the preferences files for Photoshop, start the application while holding down Ctrl+Alt+Shift (Windows) or Command+Option+Shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop Settings file?"
Note: If this process doesn't work for you while you're using a wireless (bluetooth) keyboard, attach a wired keyboard and retry.
Important: If you re-create the preferences by deleting the Adobe Photoshop CC Settings file, make sure that you only delete that file. If you delete the entire settings folder, you also delete any unsaved actions or presets.
Reinstalling Photoshop does not remove the preferences file. Before reinstalling Photoshop, re-create your preferences.
Note for Photoshop 14.1 and later: If you use Generator and reset your Preferences, Generator is disabled. Choose Preferences > Plug-ins to turn it back on.
Video: Julieanne Kost created a video that takes you through two ways of resetting your Photoshop preferences. The manual preference file removal method is between 0:00 - 5:05. The keyboard shortcut method is between 5:05 - 8:18. The video is located here.
    Mac OS
Important: Apple made the user library folder hidden by default with the release of Mac OS X 10.7. If you require access to files in the hidden library folder to perform Adobe-related troubleshooting, see How to access hidden user library files.

  • Commendation for North American Migration

We've all complained about this and that and asked for this and that over almost 2 years. This time I have a bit of praise for the way Adobe handled the North American Migration.
I am very happy with the way you post announcements, so that I find them whenever I open Muse. I like that this method keeps me up to date. Often my business gets too busy and I forget to check, as for sure I would have with the migration.
Thank you for keeping us informed and prepared and I'm glad it all went so smoothly.

  • Effect of installing "Tax Unit" for your international legislation.

    Hi Everybody,
Could somebody please let me know the effect of installing "Tax Unit" for your international legislation when you run "International HR Set up" Concurrent Program.
    \Thanks

Please go through the Note -
International HR and Payroll [ID 261452.1]
    - Install Tax Unit
This determines whether the legislation will provide a mandatory tax unit segment in the Assignment Statutory Information flexfield.
If the tax unit is to be supported then additional balance dimensions will be delivered so that balance values can be retrieved for particular tax units.
The default is not to enable the Tax Unit.

  • Income Tax Exemption on Professional Tax Deducted for Tamilnadu Employees

    Hi Experts,
I am working on India Payroll and configured Professional Tax for Tamilnadu employees. Professional Tax is deducted correctly for the employee in the month of August and then in month of January.
However while calcuating income tax exemption system is considering only amount deducted in the month of August for the exemption upto December month and in the month of January its cosidering PTax deducted in the month of August and January both. In case of Maharashtra employees form first month its considering annual projected Professional Tax amount for Exemption.
Can anyone guide me what changes i have to do for considering projected PTax amount for exemption in case of Tamilnadu employees.
    Thanks in advance.
    OMKAR

As per standrad the for chennai professional tax is projected for every six months right
so it is takeing like that  say the entire amount will be upto to Projection period so it is takeing for that period
We have similar issue at one of the client place that is instead of deducting the PTAX for every six months it has to be deducted
for mothly so we have changed the frequnecy of deduction from six months to monthly so than it has shown the entire project amout yearly
and  lets wait for the expert views on this
