Percentages Cannot be Correctly Entered (SmartView 11.1.2.5)

We've encountered an issue with SmartView that we can't seem to find the solution to. We have a percentage account on an input webform. I'll first show what we enter and receive in planning, then I'll show the same data entry and its results in SmartView 11.1.2.5. We expect SmartView to mimic the logic that we see in our Planning webforms. But it doesn't.

In SmartView, values less than 1 result in a percentage the way we expect them to. Values greater than or equal to 1 directly reflect whole percentage numbers. How do we fix SmartView so that entering 1 results in the value of 100%?

SmartView using the forms. It appears this issue has been logged as issue number 6566082 as seen here: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E17236_01/epm.1112/readme/sv_1112200_readme.html
But I can't seem to find out where I can get information on the status of this issue and whether it's been patched in future versions.

Hi, Thanks for that further bug description In Your Last Message That Describes The Problem I Am Having perfectly and is exactly the same for me.
unfortunately that fix for my camera Powershot G6 does not work or apply as the view pictures switch is different on G6 is not usable during download as once you plug in DC/USB cable it turns off, and makes no diff and problem still exists exactly as you just described.
    thanks anyways "Selz Boy"
it has been 17 days since apple promised to get back to me within 3-5 days hopefully with a solution, but I have still not heard from them.
They blew me off, i guess, probably i will have to wait for new Yosemite OS update, which they pre-warned me could take as much as 6 months.
I cannot believe apple released this new update with such major bug issues for camera downloads and that horrible "Photos" pgm which has all sorts of downgrades in features, usefulness and new bugs compared to iPhotos which I just finally got used to and was much better software.
I am starting to lose faith in Apple and I am getting that Microsoft "FEEL" like I used to have when I was a PC user, which was why I originally switched to Apple  computers in first place.
Oh well got my fingers crossed here.
Thankfully the memory card reader solution  is working well, but cost me $45.

Hi Allan, thanks for that. I've already set up a log in for my wife and that is all working fine. The problem is that when she logs in and opens iTunes and trys to associate her library with her iTunes account she gets the error message "This computer is already associated with another iTunes account". Whilst this is true, the computer is associated with my iTunes account under my separate log in, which should have nothing to do with hers. If she transfers the association to her account it will lock me out of my content on my log in for 90 days - I'm trying to work out how to associate each of the log in accounts with a separate iTunes account so we can access our music independently of one another without locking each other out. Hope that makes sense!

  • IOS "Remote" 2.2 app not correctly entering AppleTV2 Netflix password

Problem: iOS "Remote" 2.2 app will not correctly enter AppleTV2 Netflix password from the iPod/iPhone qwerty keyboard.
Workaround: Tap characters on the AppleTV2 display.

You are not alone. I tried all the fixes, multiple times, but nothing worked.
I think there's nothing to do but wait. The fact that many of us are experiencing the same problem with the iPad Remote app, and the fact that the iPhone Remote app still works fine, tells me it's a glitch in the software - maybe Apple TV 5.2, maybe iOS 6.1 (I updated to both yesterday).
Meanwhile, since Apple does not read these forums, I suggest we all leave comments on their feedback page: http://www.apple.com/feedback/appletv.html
That way they'll at least know a bunch of us are having this issue.
Hopefully Apple will issue a fix soon.

  • My MacBook Air keeps asking me for my yahoo password; which when correctly entered will not allow me into the account. iPad and iPhone both working on the same password/account.

my MacBook Air keeps asking me for my YAHOO password; which when correctly entered will not allow me into the account. iPad and iPhone both working on the same password.

I've got automatic downloads turned off and I tried signing out and in via the settings and still keeps asking me for an apple id.
It doesn't do it continuously, it'll just pop up randomly ... if the phone is just sitting there it may ask for my apple id and regardless of whether I press cancel or enter my password nothing happens .. it may be another 2mins, 5mins, 15mins but eventually it'll just randomly pop up and ask me again. It does accept my password though because I tried entering an incorrect password to see what happens and it gives me the error saying it's incorrect, so when I enter the correct one in the box disappears and it accepts it as I say, but only for so long before it pops up again.

  • HT201209 Why was my credit card still billed for purchased songs after my gift card was correctly entered?

I recently entered the information into iTunes for a gift card.  All information was entered correctly, and I got a message confirming that.  After this point, I purchased a song from iTunes, but I still received an email today to inform me of my purchase and to let me know that the 99¢ had been charged to my credit card.  Can anyone help me with this?

Assuming you were not buying a gift for someone else - gifts cannot be purchased using a credit balance - another user in the forums posted this as the reply from the iTunes Store when this issue was brought up. Perhaps it will help you. Regards.
I'm sorry you weren't able to make a purchase using your store credit. To purchase items on the iTunes Store with your store credit, your account information in your user profile needs to be corrected. I'll walk you through this process to get you back up and running in no time.
    1) Visit the My Apple ID website at:  http://appleid.apple.com
    2) If the site is not displayed in your preferred language, click the Change Language link in the upper-right corner, type the name of your language in the field that appears, then click the Save button.
    3) Click the "Manage your account" link.
    4) Type your iTunes Store account name (which is your Apple ID) in the Apple ID field, type your password in the password field, then click the Sign In button.
    5) Click "Addresses" in the column on the left. If you have multiple shipping addresses, remove any out-of-date or duplicate addresses by clicking Delete. Also, make sure the state or province field is filled out correctly for each address. To edit an address, click Edit. Edit all of your shipping addresses and make sure the appropriate state is selected in the State drop-down menus.
    6) Now click "Phone Numbers" on the left. The area codes should be in the area code fields and the phone numbers should be in the phone number fields. If an area code is missing, or if it is in a phone number field, your account information may not save properly.
    7) Make any other necessary corrections, then click the Save Changes button.
    8) Click Log out in the upper-right corner.  When you make your next purchase on the iTunes Store, you will be asked to review your billing information. At this point, you can change your information or simply click Done at the bottom of the screen to proceed. Once you click Done, you should be able to purchase on the iTunes Store using your store credit.

  • How-To: Correctly entering WEP passcodes so Wi-Fi works

After speaking with specialist and getting password protected Wi-Fi to work:
    1. Since my 10 digit WEP code only has numbers 0-9 and letters A-F, the iPhone sees it as a HEX code, not a standard WEP code. Thus, when entering it in the iPhone, you must go to the ASCII/HEX option, and put the $ symbol in, which tells it that your WEP key is really a HEX key.
You can access the HEX input option under seurity.
So, when joining networks in the future that are locked, 10 digit, and only numerals 0-9 and letter a-f, you can choose HEX and add the $ sign. (Some people report this working without adding the $ sign).
    2. If you appear to be connected with a signal after entering your passcode, but still cannot access the internet, you go back to Wi-Fi options and tell the iPhone to "Forget this Network". Then you re-access it and start the input over.
    3. Longer passwords or passwords with strange characters should be tried under both WEP and ASCII/HEX. Again, before each try, choose "Forget this Network" and start over.
    4. A good test to make sure that your iPhone really does work on your home internet is to go into your router and turn your passcode off. Then, on the iPhone, choose "Forget this Network", and start over. iPhone will fly and you'll see it work (unless your phone is defective - and this is not likely.) If you don't know how to do this, (turn off router password) call your service provider. They will walk you through it, and it is really easy to do (maybe 4 steps... you just need the providers name and password and you access the option on menu... very simple. It is also simple to turn it back on when done with your test).
    5. Once you know your iPhone works, you can play around with the different passcode options if you want to keep the network password protected. Again, remember the "Forget this Network" option between each try. Otherwise, you will appear connected with signal strength but really won't be able to access the internet.
    Notes:
    A. A Fios network specialist told me that the more encryption you have, the longer the internet takes - on everything: computers, devices, etc. 8 or 13 digits are ideal, and more than enough protection. And your internet will be faster.
    B. All this password confusion should be standardized, but different providers choose different formats, hence the confusion. Although iPhone is very capable and is advanced technology, they could only support so many formats, hence our need to do some "tweaking" for unconventional formats. Eventually these providers should standardize in the future. (Same problems can exist for people connecting Wii's and PS3's wirelessly to protected home networks. Standardization would fix this).
    C. Although my iPhone is working quickly and effortlessly now on my home Wi-Fi network, it did go a little faster when the WEP was turned off on the router (and so did my laptop), so I guess the network guy was right.
    D. You don't need to "Restore Your iPhone" in iTunes to get this all to work. Although some people have mentioned that a "soft reset" of iPhone has helped. To do this, hold down the button on the top of iPhone while you hold down the "Home" button.
    E. If your iPhone works in open networks, or at home with your passcode off in the router, then your iPhone works fine on Wi-Fi. If the above solution does not work for you at home with WEP security turned on in your router, then the problem is an encryption one. Your options are to keep your home network passcode off, or to call your service provider and try different types of passcode encryption until you find the right one.
    F. If you bought your own router and are not leasing it from your network provider, you can visit their website and try updating the firmware on your router or seeing what other options are available for passcode encryption and try those.
    G. If you have MAC Authorization or Identification enabled in your router settings, you will need to manually enter your iPhone's MAC address into your router settings. This address can be found on the iPhone's "About" Menu option, under "Settings". This type of layer of security is really unneccessary and pain. Most people do not have it enabled, but if you do, entering the iPhone's MAC address enable you to get on. (But I suggest you turn this off if it is on.)
**If this post helped you, please respond or add a star if helpful so others can find it and use it.
Using the iPhone on Wi-Fi really is a pleasure!!! Enjoy your iPhones!!

Just a word to the wise. Turning off password protection in your router leaves your network wide open to whomever is close enough to see your network. Unfortunately, a walkthrough is not as easy as it sounds. Every routers interface is different, and without talking to you while you have it open and having some idea what the interface looks like, it would be difficult to say the least. However if you know where you turned it off, then you know where to turn it on. Look for some of the options you have seen here and you will hopefully be able to figure it out. 64bit WEP with no encription, with a passcode that is either ascii or Hex is problably the easiest to set up. It is not the most secure, but will keep most folks out. However a relatively determined hacker will still be able to get in. Each requires that you select a key of a specific length, that is what makes it 64bit. 128bit makes it more secure because the key has to be twice as long.
Once you get your router set up with a password(key), you have to get it entered in your iphone. If you were all ready connected to your network, you will not be anymore, but the iphone will not really tell you that clearly. Now for the steps:
    1. Go into Settings - Wi-Fi and touch the blue arrow next to your network.
    2. The touch Forget this Network at the top of the screen. It will ask for a
    confirmation.
    3. Touch the back button which puts you back on the Wi-Fi Networks
    window.
    4. Cycle the Wi-Fi off and then back on. It will do a new search for networks.
    Yours should show up again.
    5. This time when you touch on it it should ask you to Enter Password. Touch
the WEP Password entry on the Security line.
    6. This will bring up a new window where you should see 'WEP hex or ASCII'.
Make sure that is checked, touch it if it is not.
    7. Then touch the back button and enter your password(key) you put in your
router. If you set it to hex in your router, you may have to try the $ thing
mentioned before, but I would try it without first.
    8. The password window will disappear. The lock should disappear from your
network for a few moments and then reappear. Once it does, click on the
next to it again. Check to see if you have valid information in the first 4
    lines.
    A couple of notes:
You will get valid information if your router is set up for DHCP, which most are, but if yours is not, you will have to change the tab to BootP or Static and set those up with valid information. However since without a password(key) you did not have a problem, DHCP is probably running.
Second, note I said valid information in the first 4 entries. If you see an ip address starting with 169.254, that is not a valid address. At this point go back to step 2 and try again, perhaps with the $. However since you cannot see the letters/numbers you entered in the password, it could just be a typo on your part, so maybe try it again both with and without the $.
Hopefully this will get you going. Good luck. Was that fourth grade or second grade level, these days you never know. I guess it would have been second year college or later in my day. ; )

  • Cannot get correct print layout for multiple page/booklet printing

In trying to print a pdf file that is landscape, 2 pages per sheet, booklet format, I cannot get the print preview to show the correct layout.  I have tried all the options in the print menu, but either I get the pages in the incorrect order or I get what should be on the right side on the left side and vice versa. Of course, there is NO help in the Adobe knowledge base.  Has anyone else experienced this problem.  Is there a fix?  Additionally, Adobe wants me to pay $39 for assistance that they will not guarantee they can fix.  How crazy is that!
    Thanks for your response.

I highly recommend Quite Imposing. It can create nearly any booklet you want as a pdf file. Then you will have no problem being sure it is what you want before you print to paper.

  • Problem with .avi-format import files. PE cannot recognize correctly

I am creating DVD:s based on scanned Super-8 movies. The scanned files are in .avi-format. When doing a couple of projects on my former PC using Premiere Elements 11 it worked fine. However today I have installed the same sw on an other PC and Premiere Elements 11 does not handle the files correctly. I got an error message for one of the files saying roughly (translation from Swedish) "this file type cannot be handled or the compulsory codec has not been installed". How do I proceed? Was the sw not properly installed or do I actually have to downlod the .avi codec and if so from where and how? Many thanks in advance! Ivar

Thank you for your replies. Glad you have downloaded gspot utility to evaluate the codec situation. Unfortunately your replies have not included vital information that would help us help you.
The gspot dialog should look like the following
What we need to know is what you are seeing at the top right under Video.
What do you see in each of the following fields
    Codec
    Name
    Status
The .avi that you see is just the file extension (format that wraps the video and audio compression). What we need to get at is the name of the video and audio compression that is being used in the file. Right now the focus is on the video compression.
Certain .avi fileS are particular problematic for Premiere Elements in different degrees
    Xvid.avi
    MotionJPEG.avi
    Cineform.avi
    AVCHD.avi
    to name a few.
We will be watching for your follow up.
    Thank you.

  • Cannot set correct aspect ratio.

After Comcast completed maintenance somewhere on the network, the aspect ratio on my television changed, and now it is displayed in a zoomed in format that I cannot fix with any of the settings on my television.  With Set by Program or Just Scan, the graphics on CNN are too wide for the screen, for example--same on Bloomberg or anywhere that has graphics displayed.  On 4:3 format everything looks compressed and squeezed together.  16:9 is the same as Set by Program and Zoom is way too zoomed in.  I changed the 4:3 setting on the box, but it just made it default to non-4:3 format on those non-HD channels.  What has changed and how can I return to the correct aspect ratios for my television?

Never mind, I figured it out myself.  I continued trying different user setting combinations on the box and finally it worked.  I think the "Pass Through" setting is what did the trick.  Everything is now in the correct aspect ratio and the graphics are displayed properly.
