Aluminium back cover for iPhone 3G?

Does anyone know if I can get the plastic back cover of iPhone 3G replaced with a metallic one? I know there is color ware (http://www.colorwarepc.com/p-161-iphone-3g.aspx) for getting iPhone painted. But it would be nice if to have a metallic back like 1st generation iPhone. Atleast, it would solve the cracking issue!

Problem wirh silicone cover for the keyboard

Hi, I work with my macbook in bars and places with dust, so im very concerned about dust or liquids falling in the keyboard. So one month ago i bought a silicone protection for the keyboard, like this one - http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-66886557-_JM
now, a little more then one month later, i realized that some stains like smoke stains are UNDER the silicone protection.. taking out the protection there was a kind of a burned/smoke smell.. So my question is: this silicone protection can cause overheating or damage something? that little spaces between the keyboard are necessary for ventilation, cooling or something?

As we all know the iphone 5 back cover is made of aluminum and how easily it's edges can get scratched....
now if i don't like protective covers and I am willing to invest in replacing the back cover after a while with an original one, can I purchase it from apple?

Apple does not sell any iPhone parts. 3rd party suppliers like iFixit.com would be your best bet, but will void any warranty you may have.

How can I get a new rear cover for iphone (not 3G)

I have the older iphone 16GB (not 3G). it was broken when I dropped it. I tried taking it apart, and of course, I bent the aluminum back cover of the phone and can't get it back to the exact shape it was in before I bent it. Does anyone know where I can get a replacement back case? I've found the small black plastic cover, but not the aluminum one.

This company will replace the back cover with different color options - their quoted price includes material and labor. If you want to purchase the back cover only and install it yourself, they may sell you the back cover only.

Best Flip Cover for iPhone 3G

I bought a leather cover however the headphone jack etc... are exposed to pick up lint if it's in my pocket.
Can anybody recommend a great flip cover? I also use a screen protector.

Hi again. You are correct. That model will cover your docking port but it is not a free flip like the one I bought. Mine has a magnetic closure mechanism which let you answer the iphone with one hand. This one here, has a push and lock mechanism that you need both hands to open it and answer your calls. Belkin Silicon Sleeve for iphone 3G

I know this isn't a hardware question but I just got my case today, belkin silicon one, but it seems to be very loose fitting. Anyone else have this problem or know of any way of getting a better fit?

Cover for iphone 4 headphones fell off

I took my headphones out of my pocket today and noticed that one of the covers for my earbuds fell off. I tried to put it back on but it dosent stay on and just falls off. Is there any way to get it to stay on besides glue? The sound coming out of the earbud is fine. I've had my phone for less than a month so i was thinking about just going to the apple store to get them replaced but I figured I'd ask here first.

can't wait to get mine, most likely next month and i need a case so i don't break it. i know that there are some that have glass screens that go over the screen thats already on it and wanted to know if these were worth it and if it impaired the use of it at all since the screen would be covered by another sheet of glass. i also like the jam jacket. i just want to know what you all use and which works the best, for safety and usability. thanx, and it also need to fit in my pocket with the case on it unless there is a firm clip so i can clamp it on my pants. thanx
