Is there a possibility of doing moderation on a completed (or closed) appraisal document?

My question means that after appraisal documents have been completed and closed, can a user still change the final score somehow on a document?
I know of the backend transaction PHAP_ADMIN_PA, but we are still busy configuring the system and I know it's a requirement. In past versions of MBO you could configure a pushbutton to take a document out of the "Completed" status, to do score changes.
I don't know whether this is possible on EhP4 since it seems that they dropped the pushbutton configuration on the PMP process.

    Hello,
    HAP_A_PMP_OVERVIEW is the manager entry point for the Predefined Process. HAP_A_TM_CONF and HAP_A_PMP_TIMELINE are used to configure the Predefined Template and Process.
    All notes that correct issues in the Predefined Process are attached to the central PMP note 1239426. We highly recommend that you import those notes, since many other issues in the PMP process. To send the appraisal document to PMP you use the Timeline Configuration.

    We currently cannot open the ESS Iview, it gives an error. (It is logged with SAP now for a month already)
    Any specific note we need to apply?

    We faced the same problem here. I found SAP note: [1416756.|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1416756]. but is is not very clear about the actions to perform in the 3rd bullet.
    In the PCD you should go to Business Objects --> ERP Common parts --> Human Resources  and double click the object "employee". It will open the business object editor.
    Now go to: Portal Content->Content Provided by SAP->End User Content->Employee Self-Service->ERP 6.0 EHP4->Pages->Career and Job and right click on the page "com.sap.pct.erp.ess.documents_ee" and choose "add page to operation"

  • Performance Management Template issue in EHP4

    Hi Guru's,
    I have created a Performance Management template in PHAP_CATALOG and few days before i have delete the template in PHAP_CATALOG. But when i tried to login into portal for any user i am getting this error message " Template 50022735 is not assigned to the given Add-On application  " and moreover i was not able to view any of the appraisal documents. A blank screen is appearing on the screen.
    Please advice.

    I have created several templates using SPRO too. But my actual problem is cannot able to view any of the Appraisal documents and standard screen in portal. Due the error message, I was not able to view any thing. I have tried with the function modules HRHAP_C_VA_DELETE to delete the template 50022735. It shows the return message as Template not found. Is there any other way to delete the is error message in portal

  • Performance Management EHP4 Flexible Appraisal Process

    Hi
    We are in the process of building Performance Management using Enhancement Package 4 in ECC 6.0 in our test system.  We have activiated flexible appraisal process and have completed the necessary config for ESS and MSS and appraisal template.
    The MSS user can create the appraisal and define the objectives etc.  The ESS user can view the appraisal but cannot add comments.  On checking the appraisal template we have created a criteria for employee comments and an element called additional comments the tab 'element access' has been marked against the employee as follows:
    Participant = Employee
    Plan:Access = Change
    Review Access = Change
    Completed = Display
    So we do not know why the ESS user cannot add comments. 
    Can anyone help on this issue?

    Many thanks for this - we have checked the template level and have the column access for column 'objectives' (which is what is used at element level for appraisee comments) and if we change the column owner to 'appriaser and appraisee' it works for the appraisee but  not for the appraiser.  So we have a choice either it is set to appraiser and it works fine for the manager or we change it to appraisee and appraiser and it works fine for the ESS user.
    Perhaps there is something else we need to check?

  • Predefined Performance Management process Issues

    1. Is it possible for the High level managers to have a display access to employee's appraisal documents in PMP (Predefined Performance management)?
    2. Is it possible for Further participants (such as dotted line managers, etc) to participate in Appraisal process for PMP. I tried using Part Appraisers. But the Part Appraisers are only getting access while appraisal status is In process - Part Appraisal". We want these Part Appraisers / Further participants to get access to employee's appraisals starting from Goal Planning status.
    3. We wanted to add additional Criteria Groups (VB) to the PMP Appraisal Template. I have added a Project Goals Criteria Group. But that's not being shown in PMP web interface (although it is being shown in Flex-Form).
    I have been realizing that the PMP, which is very good web design does not have ANY flexibility to change Template or process.
    The Flexi-Form, which is very flexible in terms of Template Design, does not offer the Goal Cascading functionality and Competency Goals functionality.
    I am surprised that the PMP is very un-flexible (contrary to what SAP advertised).
    Any suggestions for my above 3 problems?

    Hi Wim:
    Thanks for taking the time to read through my rambling and for responding.
    I guess the point of what I was trying to get at is why it would be an unlikely scenario to put the configuration for predefined into PHAP_CONFIG and then let you modify it to suit the whim of your customer.
    My intention was not to suggest the impossibility of integrations in the flexible template.  There are certainly enhancements to accomplish integration with the Qualification catalog and LSO, and even the old school Development Plans that virtually no one uses. 
    However, as someone who has seen Predefined in a production environment; I have to tell you, I do disagree that the alignment of goals is the only 'functionality' piece missing from Flexible.  A quick summary of other items missing out of the box:
    - Potential Assessment
    - Calibration with drag & drop capability of entire team
    - Integration with the Talent Profile - Assessments tab
    - Target rating distribution %
    - Profile matchups to positions other than the employee's own position
    That obviously excludes the UI stuff that's been addressed above.  These things above come in Predefined automatically with literally no work other than what basically is equivalent to a configuration wizard.
    Now, could you create that in Flexible?  Sure, anything's possible with enough time and money, right?  You can certainly dig into the code and create equivalent custom code for your Flexible template.  But like I noted above, it certainly appears to at least me that SAP has continued improving Predefined in EhP5 and made no improvements to Flexible.  So in my opinion you run the risk of creating something supremely custom for your customer in order to satisfy some requirement like 1 over 1 approval of a final rating.  Then, when EhP6 or whatever comes out, the customer decides they want to start leveraging those Predefined improvements, they've painted themselves into a corner of sunk costs, or continuing to customize Flexible.
    To me, that doesn't seem like a good solution, especially for a business unit like HCM that really doesn't generate revenue.  I elluded to this in an earlier post, but I really like that Predefined has a process already built into it.  It's not like SAP made that up from nowhere, they presumably built that from feedback they'd gotten from customers, along with feedback that it was frustrating how much time and money it costs to build an appraisal system that - while necessary in the corporate world - generates no revenue for the company. 
    Let me know what you think though.  I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

  • Performance Management - Ehp4

    I try to complete appraisal document. When I try to move the document to "Complete" status I keep getting the error
    "Appraisal date is earlier than earliest appraisal date".
    Long text is not available for the error. I do not make any customizing for the date. My customer tester get same error no.
    What is the problem? Please assist me.

    Hi Tiberiu, this error should come if you have an appraisal document with start period and end period as follows:
    01/01/2011 - 12/31/2011
    Than you try to the move the document to completed as of 12/15/2010, which is before the start date of the document.
    3 options:
    1.  Either fix the start and end dates of the documents so that system date >= start date of document. 
    2.  Wait until system date >= start date of the document 
    3.  At the template config level, processing tab, there is a checkmark "Do not check appraisal date".  Make sure this is checkmarked it should than not do the check.

    When I log-in as manager, in the MSS POWL table, I see create / create multiple / delete buttons. How do you remove those buttons?

    For button manipulation and for removing buttons in POWL , you have to manipulate Feeder class CL_HRHAP00_STARTPG_POWL in that IF_POWL_FEEDER~GET_ACTIONS method.

    Where you do attached the BAdi (HRHAP00_BUT_ACCESS) in the appraisal template. I could not find a place where the Z of the develiered BAdi can be called.

  • Performance Management EhP4 -- Value determination BAdi

    What does the value determination BAdi do? How do you make it available in the appraisal document? I created a Z of the delivered value determination BAdi (hrhap00_value_det) and I also created in the enhancement areas (using oohap_basic). In the appraisal template I do not see them and I am not able to configure it

    Steps that you need to take care when you create the Z of this BADI.
    1.  Create the Z- BADI.
    2. Include this BADI in your enhancement area in OOHAP_BASIC.  It might be for the appraisal template, criteria group or criteria itself.
    3. Once included in the enhancement area you should go to PHAP_CATALOG_PA and include this BADI in the Category and Category group of the template in question.
    4.  After including this in category, you should go to the template in question and whichever COLUMN you need this BADI to calculate, just do an F4 on that column value determination field. You should be able to find it in the list. Use it.

  • Issues while loading the Menu in Infoview for Performance Manager

    Hi,
    I have been seeing intermittent issues with the menu getting loaded when I click on the Performance Manager tab in Java Infoview. I am working on BOXI R2 SP2.8 on Windows 2003 Server with Oracle 10g as our Database. I have been working with BO tech Support to find out the resolution but so far they have been unsuccessfull in finding the root cause of the issue.
    I have tried enabling the logs (Performance Manager) I have checked on the Tomcat Logs (Application Server) and have tried to check the AF_Verbose logs which atually pointed to errors with web.xml however there is no other error pertaining to it. The issue comes up intermittently and sometimes the menu does load successfully but most of the times it is not able to load the Menu for Corporate dashboard.
    Any input on this would be very helpfull.
