Performance Rating Entry

Hi guys,
We are trying to create an application wherein the manager can select the organizational unit from a list of his org units and then click on a button which says 'Enter Rating'. Once the person clicks on 'Enter Rating', he moves on to the next screen where the manager sees the list of people reporting to him and then is able to enter the Performance Rating for each of the employees. Once he is done entering the PR, he hits the save button which saves the PR to IT0025.
We have got the last part of this application working. We have a custom iView wherein a manager can go in and enter the performance rating for his group of employees. What we are missing is: the screen where the manager can select an org unit from a list of org units and then click on 'Enter Rating'.
What is the best way to go about this ? Is it possible through configuration or customization ? The aim is to have a Web Dynpro application for sure since we are using SAP 4.7 and EP 7.0.

Set up another partition and install Windows 7 RC now or next month. It won't expire until 4-6 months AFTER Windows 7 has shipped. And it really runs better than even Vista x64 Ultimate SP2 (RC). Night and day, there things in Vista which just aren't right and still buggy.
You wanted to know why your score for memory was what it is, and giving what I think is why. As for games, even CS4 from Adobe is hampered by Nehalem's Hyper-threading and multicore. But developers love the power and how much faster they can compile, test, and run.
I agree it doesn't make sense to buy something now, wait for window for free or almost free upgrade.

Apple maps has received a poor performance rating just after introduction of the iPhone 5. I am running google maps app on the phone. Siri cannot seem to get me to a specific address. Where does the problem lie? Thanks.

Apple maps has received a poor performance rating just after introduction of the iPhone 5. I am running Google Maps app on the phone. SIRI cannot seem to get me to a specific address. Where does the problem lie? Also can anyone tell me the hierarchy of use between the Apple Maps, SIRI, and Google maps when the app is on the phone? How do you choose one over the other as the default map usage? Or better still how do you suppress SIRI from using the Apple maps app when requesting a "go to"?
I have placed an address location into the CONTACTS list and when I ask SIRI to "take me there" it found a TOTALLY different location in the metro area with the same street name. I have included the address, the quadrant, (NE) and the ZIP code into the CONTACTS list. As it turns out, no amount of canceling the trip or relocating the address in the CONTACTS list line would prevent SIRI from taking me to this bogus location. FINALLY I typed in Northeast for NE in the CONTACTS list (NE being the accepted method of defining the USPS location quadrant) , canceled the current map route and it finally found the correct address. This problem would normally not demand such a response from me to have it fixed but the address is one of a hospital in the center of town and this hospital HAS a branch location in a similar part of town (NOT the original address SIRI was trying to take me to). This screw up could be dangerous if not catastrophic to someone who was looking for a hospital location fast and did not know of these two similar locations. After all the whole POINT of directions is not just whimsical pasttime or convenience. In a pinch people need to rely on this function. OR, are my expectations set too high?
How does the iPhone select between one app or the other (Apple Maps or Gppgle Maps) as it relates to SIRI finding and showing a map route?
Why does SIRI return an address that is NOT the correct address nor is the returned location in the requested ZIP code?
Is there a known bug in the CONTACTS list that demands the USPS quadrant ID be spelled out, as opposed to abreviated, to permit SIRI to do its routing?

siri will only use apple maps, this cannot be changed. you could try google voice in the google app.

RESOLVED: CWB: Where do we attach a Performance Rating Scale?

Hi,
I can't quite fiture out in which screen we attach a performance rating scale name to a CWB program o Plan.
In other workds, how does CWB know which Performance Rating scale to use?
Please clarify .. I've searched in the Implementation guide, viewed the sample setup documents but no luck.

Lookup type = PERFORMANCE_RATING
Performance Appraisals does not use this lookup but uses rating scale.

Reminder to perform Service Entry Sheet

I have two solution for u.
1) Create different service entry sheet -ML81N for each line item and create single invoice verification for all service entry sheet - MIRO
2) Create service purchase order - ME21N for only one line item.
And include all services in service tab available at item detail level of service purchase order. Enter it's quantity and rate.
Than create one service entry sheet for purchase order.
So you can create one service entry sheet for all line item of services.
Note: - Use option 2 for easy process.

Unable to perform Service Entry Maintenance

Hi experts,
Currently i have a PO line with Account Assignment "A" (asset). The G/L account, Asset#, WBS element and Earmarked fund fields have been maintained.
But when performing Service Entry Maintenance, there is a message, "function code cannot be selected" appeared, resulted in unable to perform the service entry.
However, the same G/L account, WBS element and Earmarked fund when used on another P/O, was ok, able to perform service entry.
Appreciate if anyone can offer any explanation or solution to this, thanks.

For the vendor performance rating, at present we are having two options
1.Accepted &
2.Rejected..
we need one additional option Partially approved..
plz let me know how to include the additional option.

Fields/Tables to locate most recent overall performance rating of employee

Hi,
I'm looking for the table names and fields that would be involved in determining a person's latest performance rating. I've spotted the latest date in HRHAP, but want to be able to tie this to a personnel number and a field that hopefully links to text (Good, Very Good??) regarding the employee's overall rating. Thanks for any help!

Love the name!
Depending upon your implementation (i.e. - if you're using EHP4), you can also rely on HRP7409 (which uses Central Person as the key) to pull the previous performance rating. For any of these choices though, you're going to have to take the value and the scale and go against the text lookup table to find out what that actual value is. So in this hypothetical, you'd look at HRP7409 for the max ENDDA of the the CP you're looking for. Then you'd take the PERFORMANCE field and the SCALE_ID field and go up against T77SP where SCALE_ID = SCALE_ID and PERFORMANCE = RATING and return PSTEXT.
That way, if your company chooses to change scale year over year, your query will accomodate the change in scale values without skewing past data.

Yes,I want to develop my own Add-on also looking for the current solution on the same.
My scenario:
There are employees in an organization for them HR will give there respecting performance rating (1,2,3,4,5)
and GM.HR has to approve those ratings.
Also the employee who are all joinning and quiting the org has to be maimtained.
pls advise.

Performance rating under Vista--why is my memory given a lower rating?

I've been wondering about the Performance rating that Vista generates. My rig rates 5.9 on everything, except Memory where it gets 5.0 for no clear reason. I have 8GB of RAM, all of which Vista seems to recognize, so I don't understand why it downgrades the rating.
Anyone know how this works?

Yes, you are correct..
There is no check for the workcenter, unlike for Network Orders..
But, you can use the User Exits:
CONFPP02 PP order conf.: Customer specific input checks 1
CONFPP03 PP order conf.: Cust. specific check after op. selection
CONFPP04 PP order conf.: Customer specific input checks 2
for your own chcks at the time of confirmation..
Take the help of your ABAPer..

Performance management overall rating

When i am navigating to the Give Final Ratings: Main Appraiser
i want to enable the field for Overall Rating.
Note i am able to see the overall ratings comments field but i am unable to see the Overall Rating that is linked to the Performance rating in Core HR(Navigation : People >Enter & Maintain>Assignment>Performance)
how can i view the Overall Rating on the Give Final Ratings: Main Appraiser....plz help

Ans : this is seeded functionality this stored in Performance Tab in Core HRMS.

Laptop shuts down at "Now Rating System Performance"

Model number: PSAY3C-04S010
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit)
I attempted to restore the pre-installed software from the recovery hard disk drive.
Everything went smoothly, reached the screen "Configuring System... 71/71".
Then came the screen "Now Rating System Performance".
The bar would load a bit (maybe around 5%) and the laptop suddenly shuts down without warning.
I have tried turning the laptop back on, starting Windows normally, and it would bring me back to those 2 screens, and the laptop would shut down again at "Now Rating System Performance".
I have tried turning the laptop back on 4 or 5 times now, and the result is always the same. The laptop shuts down at that screen.
What should I do?

I've confirmed the solution after consulting with a few technicians. Huge thanks to them. I'm sharing this here for anyone who might encounter the same problem in the future.
The solution: charge the battery to 100%, then with both the battery fully charged and the AC adaptor plugged in, start the laptop again, and the process should complete without any problems.
What I did wrong was to attempt to do the whole process on AC adaptor alone. I did not use the battery at all. When the performance-rating started, the laptop couldn't draw enough power from the AC adaptor alone, so it shut down automatically. With BOTH the battery and the AC adaptor, the laptop had enough power to finish the entire recovery process.

Account determination error during service entry for service PO

Dear Experts,
This about service PO. I created PO # 4501517101 & wanted to perform service entry via t/code ML81N. But I'm getting error "147 Account determination for entry OP01 FR1 OP01 not possible"
Appreciate if could anyone assist me on this issue. TQ.

Please correct the assignment in OBYC and also in this error itself u can see one icon of proceed.If you will click on Proceed, then it will take u in to OBYC, where u have to do the corrections.
