Performance tuning for data retrieval for PCL4 cluster

Hi all,
I am using PCL4 cluster to read history of employee data. The FM modules used are HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_LIST and HR_INFOTYPE_LOG_GET_DETAIL .
Currently it is taking lot of time. Do we have any better methods.

Data retrieval for Sony handycam with 60G harddrive.

Does BestBuy do data retrieval? I have a handycam with work video on it that accidentaly got formated. I know with a standard harddrive you can still retrieve it if there has not been recording since the formatting but I am not sure about camera harddrives. If BestBuy does not do it, does anyone know where it can be done and approximate cost. I live in the New Orleans area.
I may try the same question in computers if nobody knows. Thanks in advance for any guidance at all.

Best Buy sends out for data retrieval. You can have it sent out through geek squad to get the estimate of cost.

How to make join bsis,bkpf,bseg table with zdbb and zobb table for data retrieval

HI,
I have an abap development requirement in which i have to retrieve data fields from different table, like bsis ,bkpf, bsip, bsas, pyar, lfa1,skat,etc.
I have retrieved data from bsis and bkpf and bseg by finding common field like "belnr, budat bukrs gjahr" to through FOR ALL ENTERIES, but when I going to get relevant data from zdbb table which is orginated bank details table ,in this I haven't find any common field on the basis of which i retrieve relevant data,
please guide me in in this regard as I have already searched web for this solution but haven't find a satisfactory answer.

I have checked both of the tables i.e lfbk and zdbb but haven't find any common field, coz data element is different,

In my understading there is no com'n field , though bank key is common field in both table but both have different data element.

Developing Z report of Workflow : Data retrieve for work id

HI all,
Iam developing a workflow report for account payables and receivable , I have got the linkage between the work id and the document . Now i want
1. Reason for which the document was parked
2. Reason for which the document was Rejected
3 Additional Note parking/rejecting the the dialog box
I have checked this FM SWW_WI_CONTAINER_READ but iam not clear how to retrieve the data from this FM

Hi Madhukar,
The Input for the FM SWW_WI_CONTAINER_READ is Work item ID.
Pass your Workitem ID to this FM. It will give you all your Workflow container data's in Element-Value format.
Just loop it and get the required data's.

Data Retrieval For Service Request Data

I am building a service that will have an input for a previously submitted request number. When that is entered, I need to be able to retrieve specific field values from that previous request. I do not know if the dictionary data is able to be queried and if so, which tables will house the data I am looking for. Sample: select dictionaryXXX.Field.YYY from??? where requesitionentryID = 1234

I believe that all of the dictionary/form data is encyrpted and stored using WDDX so it can't be extracted. There's a secret squirrel WDDX viewer which you pass a ReqEntryID too and it displays a table of all of the service elements but you won't be able to use a retrieval rule to pull the data sorry.
Only basic information can be retrieved from the RC DB that I know of (ReqIDs, Customer Details from the DirPerson table, etc).

Regarding web analysis not responding for data export for a report

Hi all,
Iam new to web analysis we had a issue on one of the report
I can open the report and i can work perfectly on the report but when i export the data to excel its showing up as fallowing error
FATAL ERROR: gui report is inccorect
In the same application i have some other reports those are working fine and data is being exported to excel for those reports
What might be going with that report Please let me know if you have any ideas.

As report was exceding 65000 records we have modified the report by adding the pages and reduced the count of output records. So the issue was resolved.

Best practice for data persistance for monitoring without BAM

Greetings,
We are modeling a business process in a large organization using BPEL Process Manager. The key point is that business people needs to monitor the execution of the business process in several key sectors of the process execution as well as they need to get report information of the process.
To model this in our project, we decided to create a new Oracle Database Schema that is going to hold the information about the business process execution (we decided that because for this initial offering the customer is not buying BAM). In this context, the BPEL process is going to be sending this key information to the repository so business people can then view real time information about the process execution as well as historical information in form of reports.
The important issue here is, if there is a best practice to send the information to the Database Schema ? it could be just using single database adapters ? maybe using sensors sending the data using topics connections ?
Any help will be highly appreciated.

hi..yes this suggestion is nice...first configure the sensors(activity or variable) ..then configure the sensor action as a JMS Topic which will in turn insert the data into a DB..Or when u configure the sensor action as a DB..then the data goes to Oracle Reports schema..if there is any chance of altering the DB..i mean if there is any chance by changing config files so that the data doesnt go to that Reports schema and goes to a custom schema created by any User....i dont know if it can b done...my problem is wen i m configuring the jms Topic for sensor actions..i see blank data coming..for sm reason or the other the data is not getting posted ...i have used a esb ..a routing service based on the schema which i am monitoring...can any1 help?

suppose user enters 9/1/2010 to 9/15/2010 and we have to calculate currency conversion based on last day i..e 9/15/2010 . 08

I need from the customer exit 08/30/2010 (on last day) to calculate currency conversion.

create a variable to enter date range (ZDATE1)
create a key date variable(ZDATE2) with processing type customer exit, should not be ready for input.
In the exit ZXRSRU01 write below code.

Increase of work processes for data transfer for specific tables

Hi,
We are using TDMS for transfer of around 1 month's data from our ECC Quality system to ECC test system. The test system was built using shell creation and the transfer started.
We have allocated 13 batch processes in the central system and reciever system. There are currently two tables for which transfer is running. The transfer is completed for all other tables. But eventhough there are 13 processes available, there are only 3 processes allocated to one table and 2 processes allocated to another table for transfer.
Since the time is dependent on the complete transfer of these two tables and since there are 8 free processes available, we would like to assign the remaining processes on these tables so that the transfer is faster.
Please guide me if there is any way to change the same.

I've started data transfer in CRM landscape and in that i was able to define the read method, write method and change some technical settings for transfer.
In the Technical settings for transfer option, i was able to increase the parallel transfer batch processes to be run in parallel.

Making powermac G4 MDD for data center for small office server

Hi mac expert,
i had a small office which need to pool every data audio and metadatas ( wav, mp3, flac, mp4, mov, ms office xls, docs, jpeg, tiff ) into 1 place or hard disk that can be access from any macs and pcs in the same office.
i have 2 units G4 1Ghz MDD (bus speed 133mhz, both has 2 gb of RAM, a 120 gb of HD internal installed.
i upgrade one of those with DP 1,42ghz and 2TB of SATA hard disk that attached to PCI SATA Sonnet card.
installed mac osx 10.5.8 leopard.
airport extreem card installed.
my questions:
- How big a hard drive can I get? I installed a 2TB drive with no partion, but sometimes when i open the disk it gave me spinning cursor and it show no items on that drive, got freeze and can not turn of by shutdown menu, i have to press the power button of the mac itself.
- if i want to make a data center like what i mention above using powermac G4 that i had, what should i do?
- should i install leopard server os?
