Performed Jukebox Driver Upgrade version 1.30.03 now computer won't connect to Zen To
I installed "Creative Zen and Jukebox Driver Upgrade version .30.03" and now computer won't connect to Zen Touch
Any thoughts or ideas on why this happened or how to fix it's
I've seen someone else mention this also.

I have a license of the PARTY 11, recently expired, to find out what was going on I have PSE 11 uninstalled. Reinstall does not work because the license has expired. Can I purchase the upgrade version of PSE 12 now or should I buy a full program?

My hard drive failed, has been replaced, and now it won't boot to CD to install the OS package. It would boot for a while, get through the first cd of install and would stop randomly in the next install. I found out that the installation disk was cracked so I went out and purchased the Mac Box Set which includes Mac OS X Snow Leopard, iLife '09 and iWork '09 under advisement from an associate at the local apple store. Now, I try installing this new OS disk and all I get is the apple logo without a spinning wheel for about 10 minutes and the computer restarts and does it again. I have tried booting from disk, holding c while starting up, and in safemode, holding shift while booting. Please help save my poor poor macbook!!!
These errors look like corrupt or missing files that leopard requires. It sound like you need to start from scratch: format your drive, reload Leopard. I realize that this is probably what you are trying to do.
If you cannot boot from install DVD and cannot successfully get into Safemode or Single usermode (due to a corrupt or incomplete install) then you will need another computer to assist you.
If you can get it into Target Disk Mode and have another Mac you could plug it into that Mac and reformat it.
If it will not go into TDM then you may need to take it out and put it into an external enclosure to plug into another Mac to format it. -
I'm running OS X 10.4.11 on my PowerMac, and cannot retrieve email. Does this have to do with iCloud? I also cannot upgrade my operating system as my computer won't accept it. Any information about this for me? Thank you!

If this is dot mac or Mobile me you can still use IMAP eMail in the iCloud.
Do not delete the old account yet. sign up for an iCloud account if you haven't.
MAKE A NEW ACCOUNT - DO NOT TRY TO ALTER YOUR EXISTING ACCOUNT.
I understand .mac mail will still come through. Do not delete the old account yet.
You cannot use .mac or MobileMe as type of Account, you have to choose IMAP when setting up, otherwise Mail is hard coded to change imap.mail.me.com to mail.me.com & smtp.mail.me.com to smtp.me.com, no matter what you try to enter.
iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
On second step where it asks "Description", it has to be a unique name, but you can still use your email address.
IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
• Server name: imap.mail.me.com
• SSL Required: Yes
• Port: 993
• Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
• Password: Your iCloud password
SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
• Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
• SSL Required: Yes
• Port: 587
• SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
• Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
• Password: Your iCloud password
Also, you must upgrade your password to meet the new criteria: 8 characters, including upper and lower case and numbers. If you have an older password that does not meet these criteria, when you try to setup mail on your mac, using all of the IMAP criteria listed above, it will still give a server error message. Go to http://appleid.apple.com then follow directions to change your password, then go back to setting up your mail using the IMAP instructions above.

Upgraded to 11.1.3 now iTunes won't Open
Upgraded iTunes to 11.1.3 on my Mac OS X version 10.6.8 - now I can't open iTunes. What do I need to do to open it and get it running. This is my new definition of frustration....... thanks for any help.
I'm having the same issue, it won't open, after trying all the fixes listed here. Bounces 4 or 5 times and window appears saying iTunes quit with an option to cancel or report it to Apple.
I don't have any uninstall software but did trash 11.1.3 once, re-downloaded 11.1.3, reinstalled it, trashed preference as suggested by another post, restarted, ran disk permissions, tried safe boot - nothing works and I'm stuck out of iTunes!
I also want to know if I can load a previous version over 11.1.3. Possible? Any other suggestions would be appreciated.
Should it work on any Intel Power Mac? The requirements only say Intel required and on another location say Intel 2. Mine is old: 2 X 2.66ghz Dual-Core Intel Xeon.

I changed the drive letter on my iPod and now iTunes won't recognize it!
Help please! I contacted an Apple associate and they told me to change the drive letter of my iPod in My Computer. I did that and now iTunes won't recognize my iPod at all and I can't change the drive letter back to the original one. What do I do?
Try Resetting Your iPod while it's connected to the computer.
Hold down the Menu and Select buttons until you see the Apple logo (or Menu & Play/Pause in older models).
This will often get it recognized. It may take several attempts.
Try closing and re-starting iTunes. There have been cases where iTunes refuses to see an iPod, but after re-starting, it works again.
Also try re-booting the entire computer. Especially if the PC has been operating for a long time &/or many programs have been opened and closed, repeatedly.
Other USB connected peripherals may be the cause as well. Try removing all connected USB items and attaching the iPod. If you have a USB keyboard, it may be worth a try using the adapter to convert it to non-USB. If the iPod connects, continue plugging things back in until you have the problem return. You may have then isolated the issue. Sometimes it could be a printer, camera, Flash Card reader, or other attached device causing a conflict. -

I have just replaced my hard drive (more memory) and uploaded my Time Machine backup. Now iPhoto won't launch or reset and relaunch. Suggestions?
Well without no information to work with, try reinstall.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2a: On 10.5: Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name.
2b: On 10.6: Those receipts may be found as follows: In the Finder use the Go menu and select Go To Folder. In the resulting window type
/var/db/receipts/
2c: on 10.7 they're at
/private/var/db/receipts
A Finder Window will open at that location and you can remove the iPhoto pkg files.
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only.
If you purchased it on the App Store or have a Recent Mac you can find it in your Purchases List. -
I have no idea what to try next. Please help!
Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
• Launch Settings app
• Tap on Wi-Fi

• In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Just a week ago, I upgraded from the latest upgrade of Snow Leopard to Mavericks 10.9.2, due to the news about security concerns on all Apple computers and IOS devices. I did this upgrade at an Apple store under the guidance of a "genius".
The initial upgrade worked, but as days progressed I bagan noticing long boots of the OS, then long and longer time required to connect to my gmail account. Finally, I'm unable to connect with gmail at all. I tried using Firefox and Safari, but to no avail.
As of today, I've had difficulty in connecting with the Apple support website as well. It took several tries throughout the day to get to this place where I could post my delimma.
Have there been similar issues recently concerning the 10.9.2 so called up-grade? I'm about to connect to my backup drive and re-install Snow Leopard, which worked fine for all general purposes.Your profile still shows 10.6.8.

Hi. I recently upgraded my computer to Yosemite. It worked fine for a day, but I went to turn it on today and I got the grey screen with the prohibitionary sign. I can't get it to go any further. I've tried some of the ideas in the KB articles but none of them are for Yosemite that I can find. Any one that can help?
Just as a precaution, boot into Yosemite's Recovery partition (holding down the command and R keys whilst booting) and use Disk Utility to Verify your boot drive (usually named "Macintosh HD" unless you've changed it) and Repair if necessary.
It may have just been a single glitch, but check out your drive nonetheless.
