Perhaps a chance to improve the message header whe...

The email client in N8 (Belle refresh, but it was the same previously as far as I can tell) lacks an important feature when replaying to a message: it does not generate the "In-Reply-To:" and "References:" header fields.
Because of this omission, a reply generated with the N8 email client breaks the threading on mailing lists discussions. In order to not annoy the discussion participants and preserve the subject flow, whenever I need to replay on a mailing list, I have to go to my laptop or desktop computer email client so I can send a technically correct formatted message.
Is there any hope to fix this ?
How is this aspect in Belle FP2, 808 for example ?
Thank you,
Cristi

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

  • Retrieving the Message Header In Asyn Scenario With Sender As Client Proxy

    Hi All,
I have a asynchronous scenario (XI to SOAP),where on the sender side Client Proxy is being triggered by an ABAP Report.
My problem is,that as the Proxy is in Sender Side I am not able to get the Message Header (i.e. the Standard Header Structure for Proxy Scenarios which I need to send as an input for creating Alerts).
This message header is automatically populated when I fill it up via message mapping in case of Server Proxy...But for Client Proxy(Async Case)...I am not able to make out......
    The Structure Is:
    SYSTEM_OF_ORIGIN
    SENDER_INTERFACE
    SENDER_NAMESPACE
    MESSAGE_ID
    SENDER_SERVICE
    RECEIVER_INTERFACE
    RECEIVER_NAMESPACE
    RECEIVER_SERVICE
    PROCESS_AREA
How can this message header be automatically retrived in the ABAP Code ????
    Please help!!!!!!

  • Exchange 2013 stating their name and LAN IP in the message header

    Friends,
our Exchange Server 2013 server is sending
emails normally, but some target servers are
complaining that our messages are coming up with
the name and LAN IP of the server
    header.
Look at the picture that actually has
a moment where the Exchange server informs
its name and its IP, how can I
    avoid this?
Companies that are complaining, say it
falls in the spam filter and then
    denies delivery of the message.
    Hold and thank you!
    Ivanildo Teixeira Galvão

That's expected and should not cause the message to be flagged as SPAM. If that is the case, just about all mail would be treated as SPAM. I doubt that is the reason.
You can remove those if you want with a hub transport rule, but I don't see the point.

  • How do you change the Received: From in the message header to correct external address

We have trouble every so often sending a message to customers will get a bounce back.  Basically it is using our local internal name (mailserver.local) instead of our External name (mail.domain.com).  We have a pretty
simple setup one Server (no edge server) with and SSL certificate.  I went in to the Hub Transport setting and made sure the FQDN was mail.domain.com  and it was.  I have read on the subject some people suggest getting your ISP to create a pointer
record for the IP to the internal name. That will not work for us, because we may be changing ISPs in the near future.
I included a bounce and current header info.
So is there a way to change the "Received: from" server name to our external name?

The error message states the reverse DNS entry isn't valid. I agree with Willard that setting up an SPF record will help your overall spam score from receiving hosts, but in this case it should simply be resolved by configuring a reverse DNS.
Receiving mail hosts on the Internet usually care most about the IP that's connecting to them. One of the most common tests is the reverse DNS (since the SMTP connection comes from 96.43.X.X, the receiving host will ask itself "does 96.43.X.X really
belong to the TUK-UTM.theirdomain.com ? and will go and check for PTR records for 96.43.X.X) It's this check that's failed.
Even if you'll be changing your ISP in the future, you would still have ownership for your DNS domains, right ? It should be your company paying for this service after all.

  • How to acces the filename from Message Header during variable substitution

    Hi,
We need to access the attribute filename from Message Header during Variable Substitution. We are able to access the following attributes of Message Header
    sender_party, sender_service, receiver_party, receiver_service, interface_name, interface_namespace,
message_id (message ID with hyphens, for example 9fbe1ff1-9a0d-11d9-8665-cbf10a126331)
message_id_hex (message ID in hexadecimal format, for example 9fbe1ff19a0d11d98665cbf10a126331)
For example, if we want to specify the interface name from the message header in the target directory or in the file name scheme, we enter message:interface_name as the reference.
In the same way i need to access the filename which we get in the Message Header(which we get in the Message Header when we check the Adaptor specific message properties and filename in sender CC).Any suggestions on the same

    Hi Bhargav,
Use this UDF to retreive the file name from the Dynamic Configuration Payload in the mapping.
    getFileName(UDF) -
    > Filename(node in the target structure).
    public String getFileName(Container container)
       //write your code here
    DynamicConfiguration conf = (DynamicConfiguration) container.getTransformationParameters().get(StreamTransformationConstants.DYNAMIC_CONFIGURATION);
    DynamicConfigurationKey key = DynamicConfigurationKey.create("http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/File","FileName");
    String ourSourceFileName = conf.get(key);
    return  ourSourceFileName;
Create a node in the target structure top hold the filename returned by the UDF.
Now your payload will have the filename along with the actual data.
U can use the variable substution now as u use for the other data in the payload since the filename is now a part of your payload.
    Regards
    San

  • Retrieve the message put in message header using variable substitution

    hi,
i am using dynamic configuration to put some information in the message header.is it possible to retrieve the message using variable substitution and if it is possible then how it be done using variable substitution.
    regards,
    Meenakshi

Variable Substitution does not allow you to read all the messaeg header elements only some of them can be read/ access....for more info on how to read the message header elements refer: /people/jin.shin/blog/2007/04/27/sap-netweaver-xi-variable-substitution-with-adapter-specific-message-attributes-via-dynamicconfigurationbean
    From the above blog:
When using Variable Substitution, only certain standard message header attributes can be used/accessed (e.g. sender_party,
    sender_service, receiver_party, receiver_service, interface_name, interface_namespace, message_id)
Better use Dynamic Configuration to read the parameters.
I am wondering why you need to read the message header parameters when you are putting them using Dynamic Configuration.....cant you just get the details from the dynamic configuration UDF itself?
    Regards,
    Abhishek.

  • Static information to be added in  message header of the XI message  in JMS

    Hi Friends ,
Is it possible to add some customer specific internal information to message header of the XI message in PI 7.1 level.. If so how ?
customer wants to add some info and to verify whether it would be handled in PI itself or not..
    Business case :  SAP -
    > PI7.1 -
    > IBM MQ
All inputs will be appreciated .
    Thanks.,
    V.Rangarajan

    Hi preetak ,
Thanks for your info .Since i have not worked on JMS adapter
As per the Link it says as follows
If you want to set additional JMS message attributes, select Specify Additional JMS Message Properties (10 Maximum).
    ·        In the table, enter the Name and Java Type of the JMS message properties whose values are to be included in the message header of the XI message.
Under Java Type, you define the JMS Java message type for the attribute in the created JMS message. The following are possible entries:
boolean , init , String etc.,
    Question
    1. How to pass the value to this parameter  will it be XML file with parameter name and value ?
    2. Any other blogs to refer ?
    Thanks .,

  • Reading Message Header and mapping

    Hi,

my understanding is your sender is a proxy (ABAP???).
There is a user id as part of the message header and you want to access it during mapping.
Dynamic configuration will not help in this case for a proxy sender. hence the best way is to have that user id stored as a field in the proxy structure itself so that it will be easily used for your mapping. This is the simplest solution.

  • How to retreive the Message ID and party details in BPM ?

    Hi Guys,
Our business partner is unable to process the MessageHeader, they proposed to use the MessageHeader that they send in the request message to fill in the header of the response. Is this possible in the ccBPM.
I need to put everything that is under <SenderParty> in the Request into <RecipientParty> of the response, and everything that is under <RecipientParty> in the request under <SenderParty> of the response, we need to create an exact “mirror” MessageHeader regarding Party-Tags so that they can process the message successfully.
I have receive step, synchronus send step and asynch send step
    any help would be appreciated
    Thanks,
    srini

    Hi Michael,
Thanks for the reply.I was able to extract the Message_ID and other runtime parameters.
Our business customer is asking to send back the sender and receiver party details of the message header details present in the request message coming from their side.
I need to store them in the container variables and send the same values back to them in the reponse.
Do i need to do it in a container operation ? If i want to store 5 variables then do i need to define 1 container operation or do i need to define 5 different container operations ?
    any help would be appreciated
    Thanks,

  • Message Header

Can someone pls tell me where I can modify the message header in emails. For exmaple:
    From: Gallery Center
    Sent: Tuesday, October 19, 2004 8:57 AM
    To: Gallery Center
    Subject: Antique Liquidation Request
I would like to change the From: info to include the actual email address of the sender, and not the default "Gallery Center" that is displayed

However I use outlook, and Gallery Center is the info
in the Sent From: , instead of the actual email
address... I would like to display the actual email
address like [email protected] instead of "Gallery
Center"If you're writing a program that displays that stuff, then the getFrom() method will give you the complete address which is "Gallery Center <[email protected]>", and you can display whatever you like.
But if your question is really "How do I make Outlook display..." then you're out of luck as far as I can see. I use Outlook too and I don't see any configuration option that lets you control that. Of course Outlook's configuration is a rat's nest made of spaghetti so I may have overlooked something; feel free to look for yourself under Tools, Options.

  • Significance of Message header in SAP Enterprise Service

    Hi All,
What is the significance of the MessageHeader in an SAP Enterprise Service?
    regards,
    Piyush

    Hi Pisyush.
Are you talking aboiut PI message Header or Enterprise Service Header??
Messahe Header hold the information about Basic details like to Identify the service.
If you are trying to call one enterprise service from one application it could be Composite application or VC or NWDS using some proxy class or what ever.you give the message header details in proxyy class,so it direclty make a call to Enterprise Service.
    it is my understanding.

Actually I fixed the problem this morning. For some reason uploading all those fonts actually disabled Helvetica. When I enabled Helvetica, it fixed the Message Header problem, but some the message text got garbled. I then went into the Helvetica family and disabled Helvetica Fractions. Now every thing is back to normal.
I'm not which OSX needs but quite a few applications I have run into now look and work a lot better since Helvetica was enabled.
